Chipotle Mexican Grill

I had a long day of work I went into chipotle, Pablo the Gm, and his workers had a smile on there faces show me great customer service I left there full and happy. I would definitely go back and tell my family and friends.

I go to a lot of Chipotles cross the the USA and this is by far the worst one. most of the other Chipotles give you a full scoop of rice and a good portion of meat this one gives you half of spoon of rice and one small pinch meat (like less then half of what other ones give) and there no forks or lids took them 5 mins to get them and they were not busy 8 people on the inside and like 5 out side and no line will not be coming back to this ever and I come to del mar a few times a year

I’m a fan of Chipotle in general, and this location does a nice job. Yes, the service and meat portions can be variable depending on who is behind the counter however I still find the food quality and overall value pretty good. The kid’s taco plate in particular is a great value at $ 4.25 for two tacos, fruit and chocolate milk. I typically get a chicken fajita burrito or bowl. I like that the chicken is a bit spicy, but be forewarned if you (or your kids) don’t like a little heat. Carnitas is also good. The steak is okay, and wouldn’t recommend.
The parking in Flower Hill can definitely be a pain (and keeps me away sometimes), but that’s not Chipotle’s fault.

The burritos here are good. They don’t give you enough meat in your burrito (mostly rice, beans and extra toppings you add to the burrito). Parking is pretty tough to find and even the parking structure gets very crowded especially on the weekends if you come to this shopping center.

You’ve got to be kidding! Really the worst steak burrito I’ve ever had! The meat looked like cubes of dog food and tuff as shoe leather! What a mistake!

Good, fast, and healthy food. Never seems to be a long wait. People get through that line fast. Recommend over other fast food places

I just experienced the worst burrito I’ve ever had. The tortilla was hard and when the staff member tried to roll it the tortilla broke and even after seeing it they decided to still wrap in in foil like it never happened. While eating this burrito it completely fell apart and went all over the table and completely ruined my lunch. I will never return to this place again.

Pretty good Chipotle, friendly staff.
But they are always out of carnitas and have the FATTIEST barbacoa and steak. So chewy. I want my meat to eventually stop being chewed. Their MEAT is like BUBBLEGUM.

I came in at 6:50 tonight to get a chicken bowl. They were out of veggies. The wait was going to be about 5 minutes and I didn’t want to wait. When I got to the cash register they comped me my chicken bowl. That’s great customer service, even even offered to bring me my veggies and the table but I wanted all mixed together.
Being in customer service myself, their actions go a long way.

Oh Chipotlé, como te quieró Chipotlé! ;) I’m always in the mood for a spicy, fresh, friendly served, ensalada con barbacoa! Mmmm, mmmm, delicious! :D
Even though Chipotlé isn’t quite the Mexican vibe you would expect, it always brings the Latina out in me! ;) As I’m sure it will do the same for you! ;)
So, everything on the menu is tasty. My son always gets the carne Asada tacos and he can’t rave enough on how fresh they are. My daughter loves the burrito with barbacoa and I can’t tell you enough how much I love the salad bowl with barbacoa too. Always get the avocado, I know it’s extra, but c’mon, a Mex salad without avo, would be blasphemous! Especially if you’re a Californian, because we sure do love our avocados!
So all in all Chipotlé is a great, fresh place to eat. Done in or take out, the staff is always cheerful and efficient. You just can’t go wrong. Oh! Also, they always have these great coupons they send us in the mail, where we buy one entrée and the second one FREE! What?!! Yes, give em a try, even their mailing list is worth it! ;)

This really is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to and travel all over the west coast

Cons: they let there walk in go below freezing and all of there food is now tasteless and bad in color too, not to mention the at best poorly trained staff, who are rude. And I was overcharged for double meat portion of steak, which tasted old or frostbitten.
All in all I will still go to other Chipotle because normal there food is fantastic just NOT this one.

Terrible experience ordering through the app. I ordered with a group of friends and when I arrived about 10 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. I waited while people flew through the line getting their food and the staff kept telling me my food was being made. All of my friends received their food immediately when I walked in but I waited over 15 minutes. EXTREMELY disappointed with the service I received since they were «making my food» far over 10 minutes. Never doing that again. Should have just stood in line which was much more efficient.

I know what you’re thinking, a Chipotle is a Chipotle, they’re all the basically the same right?! Wrong. This Chipotle is by far my favorite and the reason is simple: the staff. Every time I come here the staff is consistently amazing. There’s this blond kid, he’s the happiest dude every time we come in. I mean honestly, he’s working an entry level job at a fast-​casual place, but he is working the mess out of it. Bravo kid. There’s also a manager that’s that works most nights I come in and he’s legit too. Just super courteous and professional. I put this place on par with some of the local hotspots when it comes to enjoying a casual meal just because the staff is super chill and are rocking their Chipotle game.

Chipotle in general is a decent meal but this location is really screwing up big time. The staff at this location isn’t as welcoming and friendly as the other chipotle locations within the area. My main point of concern is the how the food is prepped. I’ve gotten sick from the food here twice in and my girlfriend got food poisoning from the steak. I feel like a change in management is seriously needed here.

This is your average Chipotle tucked in the middle of Del Mar. It was clean and there was plenty of seating.
I think their prices are higher because it cost me $ 7.99 for a steak bowl.
Also, they jipped me on my steak and that made me kind of sad.
I’ll come back if I am in the area and crave chipotle.

So the parking lot is crowded but there was no line in the restaurant. I asked for fajita veggies on my bowl and the employee gave them to me and then said «oh you know its a dollar extra for those». I said no I wouldn’t have gotten them if I’d have know that. They didn’t charge me the extra dollar but it was just kind of a weird comment. Then there was no forks and it took them a few minutes to get me one.
Other than that it was a good experience, the quality of the food is always good and fresh at Chipotle, portion size at this location is good. I love that its non-​GMO!

The parking in this area is not the best since it is so close to the racetrack.
The food is good just a little expensive in comparison to most fast food places.
The employees all greet people when they come in which is nice. They all seem to be working very hard at all times which is also a good sign.

This chipotle is awesome. There is rarely a long wait and the service is extremely helpful and nice. I come with the family I nanny and they know each other by name (hey got to love that chipotle). They also rip he large burrito into a kids sized so that the 4-​year old can have a mini burrito. This is nice of them and I have never seen this done at another location, although I have never asked.
Variety of seating options from belly bars, to group tables, to a communal bar. Fairly spread out and normally enough room. Only downside to this location is the parking! Does not matter what time of day you come, this strip mall is normally packed, even though Chipotle is on the far side, it seems to always be a battle to find a spot. Other amenities are nice! There’s a bundt cake store and yogurtland within walking distance if you want an after meal treat.
I am biased to chipotle being from Denver, CO but rarely are my expectations let down. They are relatively upfront with you and if something is wrong, don’t hesitate to ask. The family friendliness of this neighborhood branch is a major bonus in my book, I’m sure we will continue to come.

Ok, so you saw my tip about parking at Flower Hill Mall… IT SUCKS! However, I’m soooo glad I didn’t let parking get in the way of one of the BEST experiences I’ve had at Chipotle and it always happens here. No disrespect to the other locations, but this one is by far the best.
I’ll start off with training new employees. They do a great job giving trainees hands on experience. I saw a trainee lump my sofritas on one side of the bowl and she was corrected and shown how to place the meat in the center! GREAT JOB of training!
The people are very nice which is what you expect, but these employees go above and beyond to acknowledge (and sometimes reward) loyal customers! I work for Hilton so I know good customer service and this location has IT!
Thank you to the management for putting together an awesome team! I really enjoy coming to your location for great food!
