First time to Beaming and I can’t wait to come back. The staff was friendly and helped with recommendations and substitution suggestions. My son and I are allergic to almonds and many of the smoothies have almonds but they were happy to substitute coconut water and butter for us. The immunity and mint chip smoothies were delicious as well as kefir sodas!

Come in here for the Acai bowls all the time. Quality is consistently excellent and the staff is always great. I’ve honestly never tasted a bad sample from here. Prices are on the expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Delicious and healthy. Love their acai bowel topped with homemade granola. A bit pricy but you get what you pay for :)

Two stars based on the togo juice bottles. I came in for a quick juice and perused through their diverse wall of juice and soups. I chose elevate which was a green juice(Cucumber, ginger, spinach, fennel, chlorophyll) with coconut water. With over five years of juicing experience I can say this was bad juice. Either the coconut water was rancid or there was too much fennel. Blech. In any case, little or no quality control. Pass… — Price prohibitive. 9 – 10 for a plastic bottle of juice is expensive even by Del Mar standards. — Would not recommend their bottled juice. Maybe their smoothie options are better?

We live a few blocks from the Santa Monica location and it’s a favorite spot when we’re in the mood for smoothies that we know we can depend on to be good for us and taste good. We were excited to find another location nearby when we were on a weekend getaway in Carlsbad and took the dog to Del Mar Dog Beach this was closeby and provided a healthy option before we had a heavy dinner. The rockstar is my go to, immunity is very orange/citrus as you’d expect and all of their bowls and chia puddings are also extremely tasty and great options too!

Felt like a healthy lunch plus smoothie during a business meeting last week and this place hit the spot! I look forward to enjoying it again next time I’m doing business in Del Mar!

I was craving an acai bowl and found this place with good reviews near my workplace. Three bites in, I found a piece of plastic wrapping in my mouth. Extremely gross, especially for an establishment that promotes healthy organic eating. Never going back again.

No. Too. Damn. Expensive. I ordered an acai bowl(added banana and coconut flakes) and a Rockstar smoothie. 25 bucks. Let that sink in a little. 25 bucks for a smoothie and an acai bowl. I know this is Del Mar, and yes, I did knowingly add two additional toppings(ones that are included at all other acai bowl places I’ve been to). But you could buy a lot of food for $ 25. I was ravenous from surfing and committed to eating something at that point, so I kept my order. The acai bowl was fairly good, but nothing spectacular, and nowhere near worthy of $ 15. The smoothie was also delicious, but, again, not as good as others I’ve had, and more expensive. I won’t be coming back. The $ 25 smoothie/acai bowl is now a running joke among my friends.

Ordered a Rockstar smoothy and a small chopped salad to go … $ 21.00. Smoothy was good, and the salad was ok but nothing special. Doubtful I’ll be coming back. 3.5 star food with really high prices.

Beaming is one of my favorite juice bars in SD! Not only do they have a great variety of juices and smoothies, but they also offer a ton of healthy baked goods and pre-made salads as well. My favorite smoothie is definitely mint chip made with cacao nibs! Yum!

I’m lucky to have Beaming so close to my home! The Rockstar smoothie is my all-time favorite: it’s a delicious meal substitute. I’m generally a «sipper,» but when there’s a Rockstar in my hand, I quickly drink it up! Their salads are really good, as well. It’s a great little corner shop where you can quickly grab a healthy snack on the go. I hope to try their cleanse some day! Tip: Do sign up for their rewards program. You get a little treat on your birthday, not to mention free stuff after you rack up enough points!

Some people call it bBar, others call it beaming, whatever it is, it’s really good and if you’ve never tried it it’s worth the visit:) the juice here = super yummy aaand different. They go beyond the usual set of carrot juice, green juice, etc. the ones you see at Nektar. Their detox and cleansing juices are all unique and they’ll keep you in their point system if you get tempted to try them all! If I’m hungry I usually get the acai bowl. Their acai bowl comes with lots and lots of blueberries, and no added sugar — just organic honey:) really crunchy granola and again not over sweetened. If I’m semi hungry I order the rockstar. This one has the color of green but it won’t taste at all like green juice so don’t be scared! It’s apparently one of their top selling juice because it fills you up and it’s delicious. If I’m just thirsty I grab the Elixir from the fridge. This one is coconut water with cayenne. I’ve tried a couple of others, like the ones with tea leaves and flower petals, and I haven’t been dissatisfied by any of them so far.

I get pretty excited when I see an all-organic/vegan/healthy centered place. Now, I wouldn’t say it’s my daily fare, but I really appreciate the approach. Acai bowls, and especially unsweetened acai, is what I make at home, so this was the first thing I ordered. When I indicated to the man helping me that this was my first time here, he took the time to give me samples of the different smoothies and juices they offered. I thought that was sweet! I actually ordered a full size of a sample he gave me. Now to the acai bowl, WOW! Really really good and not too sweet; just the way the natural berry was intended to taste. The smoothie was also very good– it was a chocolate smoothie with almond butter?! Rich in protein and antioxidants from the cacao, I highly recommend this and the bowl. I will definitely be coming here more often during lunch hour.

I can’t say anything bad about this place. I love pretty much everything they serve and it’s so so healthy. Enjoying their«Buddha» bowl right now, made with cauliflower soup, quinoa, cashews, and Kale. Yum! This lunch item is so good, I just had to finally write a review.

I thought I’d get off a good start to the new year and partake in some healthy grub. I enjoyed Beaming’s acai bowl: the size of the bowl was generous, as was the amount of granola and fruit. The store has great customer service and I was impressed with the array of organic and antioxidant-packed food. There are also a number of cleansing regimens, which I will try in the near future.

Delicious juices and smoothies. We also had a veggie wrap, which I’m usually not a fan of, and it was full of flavor and had great texture to it. Yes it’s expensive but you get what you pay for. But I love their juices.

After a three hour hike in Torrey Pines, my body craved nutrients and Beaming delivered. I had the Rockstar and every sip was delicious. Next time I’m in the area I’ll make sure to swing by because there are so many other delicious things to choose from there. Really friendly counter help, too! A bit pricey but you certainly get what you pay for!

Does it get anymore California than this? Quinoa and Kale soup, juices and cleanse systems, people in yoga gear, and it continues. One of the priciest juice places we know, yet, the variety and quality and service make this the Neiman Marcus of juiceries. Convenient and healthy place to stop in if you need an expensive car wash to go along the North County 1%.

The acai bowls here are amazing. Now, if you are used to getting your acai fix at Sambazon or Jamba or somewhere like that, you won’t like it. Why? Because this acai is unsweetened. A little bitter, a little bit of sweet from the fruit and honey, which I think is how it’s supposed to taste. Too much sugar at those other places makes me feel like I have to take a nap after eating one. The granola is not super sugary either, it’s just right. I haven’t tried the juices because I feel like I’m getting more bang for my buck with the acai bowl, but the positive reviews makes me want to try them! I will keep coming back for these bowls though. They are on point.

This place is high quality. They use diverse, unique, ingredients and the taste is always well balanced. Their acai bowl is epic. The only downside, this is usually the case with anything good, it is not cheap. I think their smoothies are dense enough to use as a replacement for lunch so that is what I usually do. Pro-Tip: If you go there I would recommend signing up for their rewards program on their in-house iPad. I got quite a few free points towards my next purchase. It doesn’t cost anything to sign up. After, you enter your telephone number every time you buy something and you just rack up the points… rack city.

This is my second time at a Beaming. It is expensive. I got a citrus smoothie that tasted mostly of grapefruit. It was refreshing considering we went a hike before. However, if there was something else around me, I would go there instead.

Just great cold pressed quality juices and meal options. So many to choose from too. Alot of grab and go options from Almond butter packets, to salads and snacks. Acai bowls and smoothies. Across from Coffee Bean. Very expensive though. Beware. They do have pre-made cleanses but it will cost you dearly.

The service is spectacular, we order an acai bowl and vanilla shake. I asked for no granola or honey and they let me supplement an extra fruit which was nice, not sure all places would do this. Although my acai bowl was good I’m not sure $ 11 good. The acai was cold, smooth, some on my bananas were over ripe, strawberries were delicious, but the coconut flakes were rice sized which seemed odd. The vanilla smoothie was smooth and sweet but had a chalky after taste. They store itself has a unique ambiance with tons of to go salads and juices. Overall not sure I will be back.

I tried the berry delish with added spinach and it was good flavor but thinner and more watery than I was expecting for a smoothie. I know the ingredients are high quality and I appreciate the variety of smoothie and juice options they offer, but I can’t justify it for the price. $ 10.50 plus tip for a watery smoothie I could drink in a minute, is just not for me. It’s no big gulp sized smoothie! I knew the price and size before I ordered obviously, but I was hoping to be blown away. I wasn’t! So I’ll just keep on making my own smoothies and juices at home. Nice employees and fast service though.

Quality juices! My favorite is the Elixir which contains coconut water, ginger, lemon juice, honey, turmeric, mint, cayenne, and salt. It is an anti-aging, antioxidant, and alkalizing drink. The food is okay. I like the taste of their vegetable centric pre-packaged food; unfortunately, for whatever reason, I always get a stomachache from eating their food.

Dear Beaming, Vegan lovers unite! Won’t you please, oh please expand and open more locations in San Diego? **Cough, cough** 4S Ranch **Cough, cough** Rancho Bernardo **Cough, cough** Kearny Mesa **cough, cough** :-) Though, I love you so much I’m willing to drive, err, have my husband drive to Del Mar for our vegan fix. It’s bright and clean and the staff here seem friendly. I’ve had so many things here. I’m definitely a fan of the salads, smoothies and juices. Yes it’s pretty steep to eat here. But there’s no price for eating well. Everything is good for you in moderation, so put down that hamburger Unilocalers. Devote a day to meatless Monday’s and eat at Beaming. Your body will thank you for it. =) I’ll change my rating to 5 stars when they expand to more locations throughout San Diego.

First off, I want to thank beaming for providing cold pressed juice and and vegan food to San Diego. Cleanse with food? Ok, I’ll try it. It won’t be as pricey as a full juice cleanse … Those take more raw product, right? Wrong. $ 75? What’s in that Thai salad? Here’s where it went more wrong: I was Disappointed in the amount of filler lettuce for the price of this salad… Red cabbage and white romaine? How about some nutritious high quality greens like chard or Bok choi or tat soi. If I’m paying $ 75 for my cleanse, don’t cut corners. That lettuce is a fiction of nutritious. Also, my elixir had a lot of ginger. Didn’t taste the best My green juice and shot was great! The little protein ball was also solid, but again, for $ 75, I should get a food larger than the size of my eyeball.

I was craving a fresh juice this morning so I went straight to Unilocal and Beaming had the best reviews by far. I decided to go with the Mint Chip smoothie because it was a new menu item and the employee described it as awesome. I thought«well it must be for ten dollars.» Before I get into the smoothie itself let me tell you about the store. It’s something straight out of HGTV magazine. So clean and crisp but also pretty and trendy. Lots of brown and green accents. I also appreciated the lime infused water at the counter. The smoothie itself was honestly the best drink I’ve ever had. I know something thats vegan with no added sugar doesn’t sound like it could be that incredible. But ITIS. I felt more energized after I drank it too. I wish I could have one with every meal. But I would go broke, and I also don’t live in Del Mar. I’ll definitely be back. I want to try their coffee drinks next time!
