Bacon’s Pest Control

I used Bacon’s for Bed Bugs and had a good experience. I had to prep for them to treat the bed bugs. They explained before hand, that the better I prepped, the more effective the treatment would be. I did everything they suggested for prep work. They did a good job and now I am bed bug free. They recommended a minimum of 2 treatments, so I followed up to make sure. The price was reasonable in comparison to competitors prices. I haven’t had a problem since. Thank-​you, Bacon’s. Small company with big results.

BEDBUGS. I had them and they stretched my – already tenuous – grip on sanity to its extreme. Much like finding out you have cancer, you find yourself looking for answers and trying to make sense of it all. And, sometimes in your desperation you’re willing to latch on to anything that might offer you salvation.
If you have bedbugs do not latch on to these folks.. .there is hope.. . but not with them.. .
I can only describe their approach to treating bedbugs as «spraying and praying.» In other words, once you do all the preparations they instruct you to do, they will come in and spray everything. Sometimes live bedbugs will start coming out of the woodwork. However, after being doused with a crazy amount of poison, they just seem to carry on. I will give credit where credit is due, however, BEDBUGS ARE TENACIOUS BASTARDS! But, you’d think they would just die when flooded with that much poison.
While you’re shopping around you’ll probably find that they’re the least expensive game in town. However, that doesn’t account for the fact that you’ll probably need to call them back several more times. And that they don’t offer a guarantee for their work.
Eventually, I turned to another company (Burr Pest Control), and spent more money up front. But, they guaranteed their work.…and it ended up costing me less than the repeated service charges that Bacon’s saddled me with.

One last thing: these guys (a father and daughter) are super nice. And, in general, I like to give my money to local folks with their own operations. Sadly, I can’t regretted trying to do that with these folks.
