Great ice cream that is homemade! I like trying their new flavors that they come up with. Peanut butter and jelly is one of my favorites. It is a little pricey for ice cream but definitely worth it. The ice cream cakes are also delectable.

Buck eye is the bomb! 1 scoop $ 3.20 outside seating, can taste anything you would like. Good customer service. I’ll be back for more buckeye!

The ice cream here is great, period! Go for the Makinaw Island Fudge I promise you won’t be disappointed. I rarely leave positive reviews on Unilocal; only scathing reviews of utter disasters I have had the misfortune to grace as a warning sign to other potential victims. But this place is well worth your time and mine. I go here numerous times when I am in town.

Stopped by here on a road-trip with my wife and we’re planning on making this a regular stop. We haven’t tried their hot food but the ice cream is definitely solid. We weren’t big fans of the cookies n’ cream(the«cream» tasted more like milk so it was a little thin-tasting) but they have an oreo coffee ice cream that is phenomenal. We’ve also had the birthday cake ice cream which was spot-on. I’ve been to places with more innovative flavors but what sets this place apart is the fundamentals. The ice cream has the right amount of creaminess/richness to not make you want to coma and they have mastered the firm but pliable texture you expect from parlor ice cream that never been thawed, over-frozen, or re-frozen. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Love Love love this place. Awesome ice cream. Service isn’t always friendly but the ice cream makes up for it. They have the BEST birthday cake ice cream and even have shreaded chicken sandwiches. Yummo. Definitely a must have in defiance.

Always a staple in Defiance, Ohio. They have so many different flavors of ice cream, and so many creative ones too. I usually go with just the classic cookie dough. Which isn’t bad(but most places never actually seem to have enough cookie dough mixed in). This location is a pretty big upgrade from the original location. Cute –yet modern– ice cream shop décor. I like the island in the middle with the bar stools, it helps create a more social interaction between other people. I also really liked the HUGE chalkboard menu. ADORABLE. Their lit up, glass cube wall between the employees and customers, is a nice mixture between old ice cream parlor and new. The last time I was here I also ordered food(I KNOWWEIRD, BUT I WASHUNGRY!). I got the chili dog and fries. Chili seemed homemade, very fresh but not super flavorful. But at that exact time and place, it HITTHESPOT. Also, I feel their prices are fairly priced. I feel like I need to try more ice cream and more food, to give it a fully accurate rating.

The homemade ice cream is seriously some of the best you will ever eat! This is coming from a guy who used to live in Youngstown, which is famous for Handel’s Ice Cream. This place is better… And their flurries(aka blizzard) is made with their homemade vanilla ice cream — so these are better than any other«flurry like» deserts from other ice cream places! The food is good too. Very reasonably priced and solid. Burgers are really big and I’m a big fan of the turkey club — It’s all good!

Not only is their ice cream AWESOME, but they have good, cheap sandwiches, and great coffee. The lady who makes their ice cream definitely knows what she’s about. She told me that she’s positive they’re the only ones making their ice cream with 15% butterfat around. Unhealthy? Yep. Delicious? Oh yeah.
