Salon 675

I normally go to another place for organic hair color but since this place is right by where I live I decided to give it a shot. Booking the appointment was easy and I was told it was $ 55 for organic hair color. I decided to come in. The lady doing my hair was nice. The brand they use is All Nutrient available on amazon for less than $ 20 rather than the usual salon brands. The color didn’t cover all the greys the first time around. The lady told me that when u use organic hair color for the first time it doesn’t cover grey well. Really, I told her because I had been using organic hair color for a few years. She was nice enough to retouch my greys (hence the 3 stars). When she was done she asked me if she should dry my hair and I didn’t want to go out on the cold with temperature below 30 so I said sure. Well apparently drying hair after a hair color isn’t the norm here. They expect u to go outside with wet hair and it’s $ 33 for a blow dry. Needless to say I won’t come back. However I give it 3 stars since she was nice enough to retouch the greys which hadn’t been covered the first time around.

My mom has been getting her hair done by the owner of the salon for years (when she was in the city). She mentioned her salon in Deerfield which was very close to my house.
Had my hair cut and colored many times and always have had amazing results. At one point I even decided to get bangs (which was a big deal) and she cut exactly how I wanted. Also have referred friends and family to her who have said nothing but fantastic things. One of my best friends had her hair botched at a different salon and walked in to Salon 675 the same day, crying, and said she fixed her previous terrible haircut and couldn’t be happier. Sadly my family and I have moved to Arizona but whenever I’m in town I plan to stop in. Would definitely recommend!

Got the groupon for highlights, conditioning treatment and haircut. I arrived 15 mins early and she took me as soon as I walked in the door, friendly as ever! Asked me exactly how I wanted my hair done and did EXACTLY that! She was very personable and actually talked to me while doing my hair. She offered me coffee and or water and she even offered me part of her lunch– which was an amazing vegetable salad! =]] –thanks for that!
I used to go across the street to red door and pay 100’s more and they did a terrible job compared to her! She even finished my hair with a blow out and straightened it at the end and didn’t charge me any extra!
— also I am in the process of looking for a new job, — (may I mind you, I just met the owner today) and she was already trying to think of people she might know who she could connect me with that might need a nanny! — how awesome is that?
