Its a long time but I must tell the truth! The absolute worst experience ever!!! I was a consistent shopper at this very upscale boutique. I spent in the thousands each year.
I had a $ 250.00 gift certificate, and wanted to use it. On the day i was there i only found one shirt for $ 70.00 that i wanted. I was told it could not be deducted from the total — i had to use more than the 250 or eat the rest… i thought this strange but… i asked them to hold the shirt with the certificate they said fine. When I returned a month later and asked for the certificate and shirt i had found other items to purchase — they told me it had expired and they sold the shirt!!! I was beyond shocked! first of all I believe it is illegal to not honor a certificate — next what bad customer service. They lost all my biz and i would strongly recommend NOT shopping at this store ever!

I’m not from Chicago, but found something great on Ami Ami’s website and decided to give them a chance. Never again. Honestly, the worst customer service I have ever encountered online. I was double charged for my purchase and never issued a credit. The person I worked with was unresponsive and showed a flagrant disregard for the store’s own return policy. Once they had my return, which I had to ship back to them twice bc they refused it the first time, they still didn’t credit me back. Then accused me of not returning the item within the return period!!!
This was an $ 850 mistake, which I will never make again. Save yourself the hassle, there must be better more honest and reputable places to shop. I had to go through my credit card company to finally get my money back.

This is the best clothing boutique for women in the Chicago area. It beats out the big dept stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks, Barneys etc, as well as all of the boutique stores in the area. The owner, Merrie, has impeccable taste and she can fit you into jeans like no other. She and her staff will never sell you anything that they dont think looks fantastic, and they are always 100% honest. This store carries little know designers as well as all of the big names, and you can be assured that no one else will ever have on the same outfit that you do.
The selection ranges from t-​shirts to formal wear, belts to purses, and everything in between.
I honestly rarely shop anywhere else.
