The food was good and sufficient, and wasn’t too expensive. I’m not a fan of the country/western theme, but it makes sense given the type of restaurant.

Maybe we didn’t get the best service or food because we came in about an hour before closing but nothing impressed me here. We had to wait a while to get our order taken after we were seated. We had to ask for utensils twice and finally the waitress brought them herself so we could eat our long awaited appetizer. The fried pickles were good and so was the bread. I didn’t care for the sweet butter though. My husband had the steak and chicken and he said his chicken was dry but the steak was good. My food was meh. They won’t see us back again.

I have been going here since it opened which is about a year and a half now, sorry Unilocalers I’m not on top of my ish lol. Anyway, I love the atmosphere they play new and old country music which is awesome and the waitresses are beautiful which pretty much goes under my love for the atmosphere lol. The drink specials are alright, the menu is average pricing, the bottomless bread and peanuts is a cool idea too. Now the food? Ehh the food could be a little better, I usually go for the chicken dishes and the chicken usually comes out a bit on the dry side. The steaks I’ve tried before too and they’re not top notch, not sure if it’s the actual meat they’re using or if the cooks aren’t tenderizing them or what. I always return to them because like I’ve said I enjoy the place. Call it an inexpensive place to hang with the boys and have a few drinks, and grab some food.

Honestly this place is just a warmed over Daves BBQ or TGIFridays, which isn’t saying a whole lot. I left feeling underwhelmed by the quality of the food. It was rather unmemorable. Typical grizzle-filled burger meat on a stale bun. The vegetable side was two pieces of broccoli with a carrot slice and a piece of cauliflower swimming in a little bowl of hot water all out of a microwave. I could’ve stayed home and done that. This place is more about belly-up to the loud sports bar with beers and noisy, half drunk people. If that’s your scene, then you’ll like it here. I, for one, won’t be back.

Really good restaurant, not a great steakhouse but it still very good. Good menu selection and awesome drinks with good size/quantity. Their operation hours do suck a little, otherwise it great to have free peanuts.

EH. Service is ALWAYS subpar. My husband and I liked to come here bc the food was always good and atmosphere was always laid-back and simple so we’d try to overlook the terrible service. Not once, twice or three times, but EVERY time we’ve come here all the hostess and waitresses were far too busy and social with each other and clearly their visiting patron friends; who they’d often jump in and sit at a booth with instead of refilling your drink, bringing your side that you’ve been waiting to eat your entrée with… They’re all extremely young and we get it, but we’ve stopped putting up with it since my bad experience with my favorite dish there. I understand that it’s the Texas Roadhouse and not Eleven Madison Park, but I still expect not to choke on several HUGE salmon bones in my grilled salmon filet. I’ve never experienced that anywhere in my life and it was quite scary. I didn’t literally choke, but I had several bones in my mouth as I was chewing and a lot were sticking out of the salmon as I was forking pieces off. Of course it took the waitress 20min to come over and check on us bc she was sitting in the booth with a group of about 6 of her guy friends socializing. She did eventually come back and offer me something else, but it was late and we had to be up early, so I just asked her to take it off the bill. They removed it, but we never went back again. It’s such a shame because we really did like the place.

I just wanted to say, since this place opened by my work, I have always wanted to try their steak. I believe this place has been open for over a year now and on Friday 4⁄22 I finally was able to try it out. No excuses really on why I didn’t try it earlier, but hey at least I went. I went with one of my co worker after work. Instead of going for our usual miller’s spot for drinks… I brought up hey I want to eat at Texas Roadhouse can we go eat there before we head out to see Tim’s band play… She said she likes this place and agreed to eat there. I mentioned lets share a steak and asked how she ate her meat. She responded with a medium well… and I am like ughhh I like medium rare. I mentioned maybe we should order separately but she was like no I can do medium rare. Of course I didn’t want to force her to eat something she didn’t like but she insisted it is okay. Luckily she end up liking it. We ordered the 6 or 8 oz fillet with sautéed mushroom that includes 2 sides. We chose mixed vegetables and buttery mashed potatoes. They cooked the meat perfectly. red in the middle just the way I like it. The meat was juicy and tender. I took a picture of everything except for the steak. was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of the best part lol. O wells… at least I remember how it taste. Due to me being the Unilocaler that I am… I checked in and a free appetizer popped up. We both chose the fried pickles and it was delicious. it wasn’t the best steak I ever had but it was good enough for a four star. I just didn’t like the fact they had peanuts just sitting there. and it looks like it just sits there all day and idk how many hands went digging in it. lol. big bucket of peanuts. cool but no thank you =] also, I don’t think it is a wise choice for peanuts because it is one of the main allergies that some people have. luckily for me my allergy to peanuts is minor. I am very surprise how pack this place gets.

This was my second time at a Texas Roadhouse. Once in Binghamton and now Deer Park. They start you off with bread and cinnamon butter, which is amazing. I had the ribs which were excellent. The meat came right off the bone and the BBQ sauce was great. Service was quick and friendly. Will return to Texas Roadhouse.

When I think of family dinner outings, I think of two places and this is one of them. As a family, mine goes out to eat very sparingly being that my parents are pretty health conscious and my dad actually loves to cook but we’ve come here on more than a few occasions including joint birthday ventures where they sang happy birthday to me while I fearfully sat on a saddle. Anyway, I really like Texas Roadhouse because I appreciate it for what it is and don’t expect it to be anything else. I go here to eat meat, mashed potatoes, and delicious rolls. I will say that one time for WHATEVERREASON I ordered something called«roadkill» and my dad became violently ill after eating my leftovers(and I wasn’t feeling it either thus explaining he leftovers) but I chalk that up to him only ever eating his steak super, ridiculously well-done and me having ordered that meal pretty much rare. We can laugh at it now but at the time it wasn’t that funny. Also, I have a distinct memory of my mother ordering a chicken fried steak and it looking like a flounder and my family being very confused and concerned. These are the type of things that a family dinner memorable so thank you, Texas Roadhouse.

For the first time since its opening, we were finally able to eat at Texas Roadhouse. The place is themed well with plenty of country music. You eat peanuts right out of the barrel and leave the shells on the floor. It’s pretty fun. A word of advice: be prepared to wait… a long time, unless you call ahead of course. The front area near the hostess stand is extremely overcrowded and crammed. They have a glass case where all of the steaks are kept and you get to select your steak prior to sitting. It’s a cool idea, however it only adds to the crowded nature of the place. They give you hot, fresh baked bread as soon as you sit. It’s absolutely drowned in butter. They then give you cinnamon butter to have with it which gives it a nice flavor. For the record, you come here knowing that you won’t be eating healthy. The cocktails seemed a bit on the smaller size, while the margaritas, beers, and soft drinks were of generous portions. The drinks aren’t the only portions that are generous. Make no mistake about it, they give you a TON of food, and the price is right. The salad bowls are chilled, ensuring a cold, fresh salad for the entirety of the meal. The steak was PERFECT. They did a great job seasoning as well. The steak fries were great, as were the mashed potatoes and potato skins. The pulled project was delicious, and the chicken critters were tender and juicy. I really did enjoy the taste and cook of the food. However, as I said before, it won’t be healthy. With that being considered however, there were some plates that were literally pooling with grease. It was a bit of a turn off as it looked unappetizing. Despite it all the meal was still good, we came home with left overs and the price is right. I would absolutely return, but given the amount of grease, it’s not a place I’d frequent all that often, not more than a couple of times a year at least.

I haven’t came to Texas Roadhouse since I moved here. I was craving their bread and butter so badly! I ordered the Salmon with Rice and Corn. I thought our server was great. This place is never a disappointment for me, at any location. I always have great service and my food is always delicious. I’m obsessed with Salmon, and for me to say that the Salmon I had ordered this time was probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted — that’s saying a LOT. Four stars!

I’ve decided this is my go to spot after a day of shopping at Tanger outlets. The first time I attempted to dine here didn’t work out; it was around 5:30 or so on a Saturday night and the wait was around 45 mins. I was way too hungry to wait around so I had no choice but to find somewhere else close by to eat. I knew by their Unilocal reviews and the crowd of people that were waiting the food had to be good. A few weeks later I made the trip out to Deer Park and had everything planned and timed out just to be able to come here and eat without a long wait. My careful planning worked out; I waited all of 5 minutes to be seated. I now know what the perfect time is to come without a wait; and I now plan my trips to Deer Park ahead of time. This place is great if you’re a sports fan and love BBQ! I love the huge booths and there are eight large 50+ inch TVs surrounding the bar. Buckets of peanuts are displayed on each table and also remnants of peanut shells will be on the floor from when you walk in. I can’t remember what their significance to the peanuts are; there is some sort of sign on the door as you enter regarding it. I couldn’t wait to dig in to some yummy BBQ. Here are some of the things I’ve tried on my two visits so far. Starters: Cactus Blossom $ 5.99 and Fried Pickles $ 4.49 both times the starter was free, first time for my Unilocal check-in, second time was from an email offer from Texas Roadhouse. Entrees: Fall off the bone ribs half slab $ 14.99, Texas Size Combo Grilled BBQ Chicken with Sirloin 6oz $ 18.99, Country Fried Chicken $ 10.99 and Pulled Pork Dinner $ 10.49 each entrée comes with two sides. A must try is their sweet potato with butter and brown sugar or just order it with the works(that adds on marshmallows!); either way it’s a winner. If you’re looking for some good BBQ on Long Island this place won’t disappoint your taste buds. Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. The hosts and servers were very pleasant on both occasions. A+ customer service and A+ food will keep me coming all the way out there to get my BBQ fix.

This review is based off of take out and the potato skins appetizers. Ordered right before the Super Bowl game and the potato skins did not disappoint! I would definitely like to dine in the next time I am here as the restaurant inside looks really relaxed. Staff is super friendly and attentive as well. Thank you for the awesome customer service!

On a Saturday afternoon, we(a party of 3) were seated immediately which was nice. I ordered a 6 oz steak which came with two sides(I chose broccoli & steak fries) for $ 9.99. My steak was cooked perfectly medium rare; however, I thought the steak was a bit bland for my taste. The steak fries were delicious, but the broccoli was over cooked — smooshy broccoli isn’t that great. I was pretty full for $ 10 so that was a plus. The service was excellent, which bumped my rating to 4 stars.

Prime Rib was perfectly cooked at Medium. Still pink but not bloody. It’s texture was soft and easy to chew. Skip the mushrooms I ordered on top. It was too salty. I did order the loaded mass potatoes, the kids loved that too. Hubby liked his Bone In Rib Eye. It was moist and flavorful. Love this place. Economical and fun night out.

I still hate the peanuts on the floor but this place was great! We were at monster mini golf nearby and needed to find a place to have dinner. We didn’t want anything fancy just something quick and delicious so we stopped in here and we weren’t disappointed. We were told our wait for 4 would be 20 to 30 minutes but it actually buzzed 2 minutes after we received the buzzer! We were seated quickly and brought over delicious and hot rolls with cinnamon butter that was to die for. We placed our drink orders and appetizer order quickly and as fast as it took me to finish my roll our blooming onion hit the table. It was crispy and salty and heavenly and the horseradish sauce paired perfectly with it. For entrees we all ordered ribeyes. My sister and I had shrimp with ours as well. My fiancé paired his steak with rice and steak fries, I paired mine with the house salad and a loaded baked potato, my sister paired hers with a house salad and a loaded sweet potato, and her boyfriend paired his with corn and a loaded baked potato. My salad ended up having something from the fryer in it so our waiter immediately fixed it and the manager even came over to check if everything was okay. No big deal. Loved their blue cheese dressing! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the portions were very generous. The shrimp were heavenly and the loaded baked potato was great. I love that they salt crusted it. Nice touch. Service was very good and very quick, food was hot and cooked to our liking, and prices were quite inexpensive. 4 full steak meals, an iced tea, and an app came to $ 110! I don’t think I’d ever splurge on a steak again when I can come here for great service and excellent food and prices!

Texas Road House. Hmm… Love the concept. Love the atmosphere. Don’t love the food, however. The place is fun. Country music is playing. Employees routinely break into a line dance routine. Servers are all very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I just don’t love the food. The rolls were good. The cinnamon butter was yummy. The tossed salad was alright. The Italian dressing — not great. The BBQ chicken was a little dry and the BBQ sauce — not great. The baked sweet potato was … Was a baked sweet potato. What can you do to a baked potato? The green beans tend to be a little mushy(slightly overcooked) and a bit too salty. Fun atmosphere. Friendly people. Average food. 3 stars.
