Salon BKB is the best and Mrs. Belinda is simply amazing! I met Mrs. Belinda by chance when a small portion of my hair caught on fire at an event. She was nice enough to assist me with salvaging as much as we could and cut what we couldn’t, off. She invited me to her salon also. I was reluctant at first because I’d been going to the same hair stylist for a decade and loved her, I really thought she was the best. And no offense to her, she is good, but Mrs. B is GREAT! She knows sooo much about hair and is very well educated! She is very talented with all different types of textures. Her knowledge really amazes me. She also has my hair looking better than it’s ever looked, simply amazing. My hair is also growing super fast! I’ve been a customer since the Spring of this year and go every 2 weeks. Everything happens for a reason and meeting Mrs. B and coming to this salon has truly been a blessing for my hair. Not to mention she’s a phenomenal person also!

Nuts and bolts: Used a groupon deal to try this place out. I have not gotten any natural hair care service before so it was helpful to try someplace out at a discount.
Pros: They take security very seriously. They lock the door at night and someone makes sure that you are able to get to your car lately. Cost seems to be reasonable. They do a consultation so that you can learn about your hair, its issues, and what need to focus on. They work as a team and people chip in to help as needed and available. They have a program for those that can commit to getting their hair done on a regular basis. They also have a special for new clients for their next 3 visits. They tell you about their products, but they don’t push them.
Neutral: We were late getting started. But what salon isn’t late. It was around 20 – 30 min after I arrived by the time we got started. My stylist did introduce herself though to me though since she was running behind.
Cons: While I love that they are kid friendly (some women don’t have child care when they need to get their hair done), when there are like 4 – 5 kids running around and some of them are bumping in the your machine, etc– not so cool. I wish I had known that my twist service was going to be flat twists. I was totally expecting a different do.
Take home: I plan on a return visit.

I have been a customer of this salon for approx 3 years and all I can say is I absolutely LOVE this place. I will never forget my first experience here. Belinda Baker sat me down and did a questionnaire with me about what I liked and didn’t like about my hair. This was the first real consultation I ever had, and in that meeting I learned so much about MY hair… like what other salon talks to clients about hair porosity?!?
Not only is Belinda educated, but all of the stylists are very well informed in all things hair and make it a priority to teach clients as well. The shop is so cute, no one is a stranger EVER. While you’re steaming under the hydrator, feel free to indulge in some (adult) beverages and chat with the other clients in the salon. I’m so in love with Salon BKB that I refer ALL of my friends and family here and they all love it too! Every time I get out of the chair, all of the stylists know that it’s time for me to have a photo-​shoot!
As long as I live in Atlanta, Salon BKB will be my salon of choice. Every time I get my hair done, everyone asks about my hair «Your color is so pretty, who did it?» And I proudly say, «Salon BKB!».

I could NOT have transitioned from relaxed to natural hair without Salon BKB. I was a dedicated every 4 months texturizer client at the salon for pretty much my entire life. I trust my hair to NO ONE but Belinda Baker so when she told me I could do it, I listened! I’m not quite a year and a half into being natural and it is the best choice I’ve ever made for my hair.
The hydration treatments from Salon BKB are the truth! I’ve always liked being able to do my own blowouts between salon visits. I thought once I was natural this would no more. Not at all! The combination of the ceramic fusion and hydration treatments train your hair to be versatile no matter what you texture may be.
Ms. Belinda is like Yoda of hair! She will teach you how to really care for your hair so that its healthy and looks amazing!
