I really like eating here. My favorite is the fried rice(with chicken), comes with onions, egg, zucchini, soy beans. Yummy. I also like to veggie rolls and miso soup. Their menu has changed(again) and some of my favorites were left off. It’s very casual, sit inside or out. Caution, the outside chairs are not comfortable. Staff is ALWAYS attentive, nice, friendly and quick. Parking is usually a problem since this is located in downtown Decatur. Our most recent visit was disappointing since it appears there is a shortage of chicken in the Decatur area. Rice was terrific as always, but misses his friend Chicken. I don’t think I’ll be back until the chicken is spotted again. Bad business decision to skimp on the chicken.

Noodle is a fun and playful spin on several types of Asian cuisine. They have a pleasantly large menu with lots of options for vegetarian and gluten free diets. The atmosphere is inviting and the patio has a nice view of Decatur. The only reason this restaurant gets three stars from me instead of four is because the vegetarian options are lacking in flavor. A lot of restaurants, this one included, tend to forget that vegetarian items like tofu and pasta do not have flavor on their own and need to be jazzed up with herbs and spices to taste good. The Ramen noodle soup here is nice, but marinating the tofu and adding more than just red miso paste to the broth would go a long way. Overall, this is a nice place to go for quick, fun food and a nice atmosphere.

The service was great and friendly. The food was average. I never send anything back, but the«peanut sauce» was basically inedible curried coconut cream. They were kind enough to take it off the bill when saw I wasn’t eating it, which definitely goes a long way. However, the food needs some work.

I’ve been coming to this location since college and have always loved the food here. This was probably the first time I’ve been less than pleased the service and the food. We were greeted by the bartender who told us to take a seat wherever we liked and that our server would be with us shortly. Yeah. She was not in a very good mood to deal with people. After about six minutes, she walked up to the table and said«so what do you want to drink?» and it was at that point I knew I had turn my patience level up to a 10 to get through. It wasn’t super busy but it took her almost 10 mins to get our drinks and finally she asked wanted, I decided to step out of my normal lo mein situation and got the happy family rice entrée. It came with mixed veggies, brown rice, brown sauce, shrimp, chicken, scallops, beef, and needless to say it was delicious(aside from the rice being a little over cooked). After the waitress brought out our food, my friend realized hers was wrong and trying to get the girl to come back to our table was an act of congress. Finally, I took matters into my own hands and asked for another waiter. His name was Ryan and he was awesome. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, food can be great but if the service sucks, you probably won’t get much more of my hard earned coins.

We came here for dinner on a whim because I was craving noodles, so what better place to go than a restaurant called Noodle? It was a no brainer, or so I thought. The ambience is chill, and overall, the place looks good. There’s some booth and table seating along with a sushi bar and high tops inside. Then there is also an outdoor area that could be nice on a warm day. We didn’t venture to the bathrooms so can’t comment on that. Our waitress was attentive and nice, as was the seating hostess when we first arrived. Nothing out of the ordinary, good or bad. Onto… The food. I ordered the basil noodles with chicken(sans tomato and added broccoli– which they charged me for), my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef ramyum soup, and we split the Thai fries to start. The Thai fries were good, though nothing to write home about. The best order of the night was the ramen, hands down. It wasn’t phenomenal, but it was the best dish on the table. The ramen noodles were well cooked, and the soup base was flavorful and not too salty. My basil noodles were sorely lacking in basil flavor, and the sauce was annoyingly sweet– to the point where I didn’t want dessert(which says a lot because I usually eat dessert first– that’s how important it is to me). Some of the chicken in the basil noodles were that gross spongy texture, so needless to say, my noodle craving was not completely satisfied. The odd thing about the whole thing was… I still took the noodles to go and reheat them for lunch the next day… And they tasted waaaaay better(and surprisingly not sweet) than when it was fresh from the kitchen. I guess, if I want noodles from them again, I might order a day early and reheat for best flavor. Ha. Overall, it was ok. We didn’t hate it, but we didn’t love it. I think next time we may try our luck with the new sushi menu they’ve been advertising… Maybe.

Super cute place. Had the Spicy Beef Rumyum Soup. It was very tasty, but lacked the spicy-ness I was expecting and wanted. Would definitely go back to try other dishes.

Low key restaurant in downtown Decatur. Consistently good and easy to get into. I typically get the tofu and noodles but had a rainbow row and tuna nigiri last night. It was very good and the presentation was nice. We also ordered sweet potato fries which were tasty. And I loved the pomegranate and vanilla tea.

Yeah. So… i blog about food in the city. Please check out my site thru thru the FB link at ATLbrowngirl. Clearly I have always been a big fan and supporter of Noodle but sometuing went left on my last visit. Called in my order and when I got there and had to park and pay since the carryout space was full. I came back and told the cashier since I only ordered appetizers and had to pay to park I would like to sit and ORDER an entrée now since I parked and supported PARK Decatur:-) No worries right? Wrong. She refused to allow me to stay on the premises. AND the restaraunt was nearly empty since it was after the lunch rush hour. AND she wouldnt allow me to sit outside. Even tho it was deserted out there too, and drizzling. Wow. Straight foolishness

Good food and good atmosphere. I would definitely eat there Adrain but pay attention to your bill as auto gratuity added for larger parties and waiter does NOT remind you of this and mine got a gracious tip plus the obligatory one :(

We’ve been coming to this Noodle for years. The menu has gone through a few makeovers over the last couple of years. They took my favorite, the lettuce wraps, off the menu but still have the tasty crunch grouper. Some of their sauces taste more prepackaged vs homemade but the food is still decent. I’m rating this Noodle three stars because of the poor service. The server Ryan forgot multiple things we ordered like water, limes, extra sauce and acted as though we were bothering him when we asked him about them. I asked him about two items on the menu and he could not answer my question about either one. My family members made comments about the poor service and are not eager to go back again.

We dined here for the first time tonight. We’ve been to the Midtown location, so we knew what to expect. I was plesantly surprised to find out that they had a brand new menu that started today, on Jan 1st — a great day for a new menu! It includes sushi. We had the white fin tuna and it was very tasty. The dumplings were quick and delicious. The best part was the staff! Tim was a blast to talk with and the sushi guy was very friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

I am posting this reluctantly because I used to really like the food. Sadly, they seemed to have changed all of their recipes(or at least most?). Change doesn’t necessarily mean bad, but in this case I was very disappointed. I tried the Thai Peanut Noodle and Lo Mein as well as some apps. The peanut noodle was a real let down. It tastes like what I have made from the pre packaged packets I have purchased from the asian section of the grocery store — a taste of Thai I think and you just add coconut milk. That’s exactly what these taste like to me. It’s a lot less creamy and normally I am all for an egg on my food, but it really doesn’t make up for the dish’s new shortcomings. The Lo Mein was also disappointing. How can you mess up a dish like that? To me it now tastes like what I can get at any Chinese restaurant open late. Sure, I like it fine, but why pay this much money for it then? They even changed the apps, which was okay. I’m not a fan personally of the new dipping sauce for potstickers. I think it’s more japanese and more bitter and I’m not just a fan, but others might be. They also changed the filling on the spring roll and it’s like… completely mushy now where before it had some differentiation in texture. I dunno, I just preferred it earlier this year before it all changed. Change can be good, but in this case, I was really unsatisfied by my food and it certainly wasn’t worth the money I paid.

I love this place. I found them on Scout Mob, and I’m glad I did! They have a good variety of pan-asian/Asian-American options, and for the price it’s a great meal. I can take my family here and everyone finds something they like. I enjoy doing their build a bowl, which lets you pick your starch, protein, veggies, and meat/tofu. It’s a good portion, and I really love their peanut sauce(which has a bit of kick and is like a yellow curry). The dumplings are also good. I wasn’t impressed by their spring rolls(could buy the box at the farmers market and fry the same thing). I think it would help them if they described their sauces better on the menu, and also the differences between the noodles(I think their Egg Noodle is like a lo-mein noodle, and my family was expecting something totally different), and I know people have thought the peanut sauce is their yellow curry sauce(it isn’t), so I think if they mentioned the flavors of each sauce a bit, that would help people choose better and remove disappointment. Overall, it’s good cheap eats.

We ordered a curry bowl and it didn’t taste right at all. The Hot and sour soup had a wild taste to it. I took the basil rolls off the menu. Change the menu entirely and it’s under new management. Think twice about coming here.

Not bad at all. Portions are generous and there’s a nice variety. That being said, this is definitely not a place to come you like real Asian food, but if American-Chinese take out is your thing, this place should hit the sweet spot. Food in general here is heavy on the rice/noodle and sweet/salty flavors. There’s not much depth of flavor on much here and food tends to be one note. Again, nothing is truly terrible or awesome here. The space is really nice and there’s a nice outdoor patio. The waitstaff is really friendly as well. I think this is a good option for a quick dinner if you live nearby, but I wouldn’t travel here for a taste.

I went to Noodle for the first time yesterday with my son and some other moms and their kids. We were greeted pretty quickly and the server took the order for the kids first to get them ready and satisfied early on. That was nice. They have a $ 5 bento box for kids with your choice of protein, rice or noodles, a choice of veggie and teriyaki sauce. For my 2 year old, it was a ton of food and for a 5 year old, it was satisfying. It was actually what I should’ve gotten because it seemed very filling. I ordered the Vietnamese soup bowl. It was similar to phở but not quite the same as I’ve had in Vietnamese restaurants. It came out piping hot and the portion was huge. I enjoyed it, but would like to try something else another time. Service became a little shoddy after a while and we had to wait long periods of time to get napkins, refills or the check. It wasn’t bad, but not necessarily great. I will go back with plenty of time to spare and possibly try something different for variety.

We enjoyed the dishes we chose. Also, everything was fresh and hot when it came out. I had the peanut noodle with shrimp and my husband actually kept eating my food because it was delicious. He had the crunch grouper and liked it but liked mine better. He said anyone who likes sweet and sour stuff would like the grouper. The apps we tried were on point. Crab Rangoon and Thai Fries. Really good. Wait staff was cool and helpful. We enjoyed it! Also used a scoutmob so that helped! Decent pricing though.
