While visiting Springfield, IL my husband and I decided to take a drive to Decatur so I could check out the local bead store and he check out some historical sites. I really enjoyed shopping here. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She even pointed out another bead store to me which was actually on my drive home.
She had a lot to offer in the way of seed beads, thunder polish, crystals (individuals) leather, tools, etc. Also, don’t forget to check out the wall of sparkle. All things were reasonalbe priced as well.
The only thing I could say was different for me was some of the beads are buy the gram (super duos for example) I’d never brought that way before, but it was actually a good thing because the amount I needed turned out to be cheaper than buying them in a large tube which is how I’m used to purchasing them. I can say there was a variety to choose from on many beads.
Unfortunately, I was sad to hear this store will be closing at the end of the year as she hasn’t found anyone to sell it too. I love traveling and finding new bead stores to visit. Will be sad to see this one go. If you’re in the area before the end of the year make sure you check it out. You won’t regret it.
