Can I give 6 stars?
First off, Dr Grant was my dentist from the time I was about 5 until moved away from Atlanta in my late 20’s. He’s always been a great dentist, thorough and just a nice guy.
When I moved back to Atlanta last year, I ended up going back to his office, but seeing Dr. Brittany Meyer instead of Dr. Grant. Okay, as you may know from my prior postings, I’m a HUGE dentist weenie, thanks to some experiences I had in New York and Chicago. I’m generally in a cold sweat walking in the door, so when Dr. Meyer told me I needed a couple fo crowns, you can imagine how panicked I was. So, the crown prep day comes. I take a valium, take a deep breath, and submit to the fear, waiting for the pain of the injections and tooth prep.
But the pain never comes.
Can I tell you, I had at least 3 injections, and never felt them. Prep for the crown took just a few minutes, and while not the most pleasant thing I’ve ever done, wasn’t too bad either. Back three weeks later for my permanent, same experience. No pain, and I was completely recovered in about an hour.
So, yes, woohoo! Dentist weenies, unite and get yourselves to Dr. Meyer!

Dr. Grant has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He has been great, as has his staff of hygienists. The addition of Dr. Brittany Meyer as his partner has worked out very well. While Dr. Grant appears to be very old school, his equipment and techniques have always been up to date and state of the art. He is rightly quite proud of the work he’s done on me (he wishes he had taken some «before» photos and made me his poster boy).
