Blain’s Farm & Fleet

Working on a project and went to this store to find supplies. I spent over 30 minutes trying to get an employee to point me in the right direction for a particular item after scouring the entire store. One employee that I tried to catch saw me comeing and ran into a back room, luckly there was another headed in the same direction so I asked him. He told me I would have to look down the way if they had it it would be there. In the process the other employee that dodged me came out and in passing his coworker said «I will be back in an hour from my break». I was really irritated at that point. Customer service is about helping customers. My request would not have taken more than a couple of minutes the help me with and this guy practically ran from me so that he could go on a break? Really unprofessional if you ask me. The other guy that helped me seemed like he didn’t really know what he was talking about. I’m really disapointed in the service and their lack of product knowledge not to mention the stores pick and choose way of stocking their store. They are supposed to be farm and fleet and they didn’t have a feed or water storage container that could be sealed for farm use that wasn’t a garbage can. Something that most other farm supply stores have, like Rural King does. I was trying to save time and fuel by not driving clear across town to the next town over but instead ended up waisting time and being agrivated. Farm and Fleet needs to realize they are not the only local store like them anymore and they have lost yet another customer after years of being treated like this to Rural King.
