my family’s been coming here forever, since my grandma moved near the Huntsville area. it’s a little out of the way sort of but we always detour. they’re a straightforward, simple, southern-​style smokehouse, though they don’t mind when my mom asks for the slaw on the side. the low prices don’t match up with the deliciousness. their fried okra & pies are awesome too.
