Daytona Inn Seabreeze

Very nice for the money. Very big clean rooms. Soon to be a Best Western per the front staff.
Good discounts during construction phase only. Nice staff.

I can’t say enough how much of a great stay we had. It didn’t start out that way though. When we first got to our king room with city view everything was fine. I unpacked all our belongings. We got changed and ready to got out for supper. When we returned, around 8pm, the tv was out of service. The clerk on duty apologized and advised us the cable co is doing upgrades in the building. Our room shouldn’t have been effected but it was so he said if we didn’t mind we could move to a new room a queen double with city view. So we did. However, this room was much smaller. And didn’t have the sitting area that the king did. But that’s fine it’s getting late and I just had to repack and move everything. We’ll before I started putting away everything again. We turned on TV. It was working fine. For about 5 mins. Then it kept going black and coming back. So I called the clerk and told him what it was doing. He sincerely apologized again and offered another room. I asked was it another queen, I really wanted the king I reserved, he advised it was a queen but it had an ocean view and a kitchenette. And he tried the tv and it was working fine. I couldn’t refuse that. So we moved one more time. After unpacking, the tv started going black again. I let the clerk know but I wasn’t going to change rooms again. I really liked the room. He said the cable co would be back in the am. So the next day the cable man came. Took most of the day. But that’s ok it was fixed.
So long story, the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. It’s right on the beach. Clean pool. They have a real, full continental breakfast. The a/​c was very cool. The beds are comfy. The bedding is fresh and new. Towels are soft. And the price was right! Our stay was after Labor Day so it was very reasonable. I don’t know what peak season prices are. We will definitely come back here the next time we’re in town.
