Before upgrading our wireless service just before a move, we went into this store and specifically asked about the wireless coverage in the area where we were moving. The salesperson opened up an online map, pointed at a few dots and said, very confidently, «We have great coverage there.» After my bill increasing $ 30/mo due to the upgrade, I was very unhappy to find that(and this info comes from an ATT tech), «80% of this area is a low/no service area, meaning while outside you may get 1 maybe 2 bars, inside likely 0 bars to No Service.» This tech couldn’t understand why the Daytona salesperson didn’t contact an ATT tech to confirm the coverage. I learned this — well, it was verified by an ATT tech — after two months of having to stand like a pillar of salt in one spot in my living room if I didn’t want a phone call to drop; after having to purchase a Verizon MiFi device(requiring a 2-year contract) to use data because it was unavailable via ATT on my cell phone at this location; and after missing very important voice messages(I receive them about 12 hours later). We are dumping ATT in January and never looking back. This company used to be good. I don’t know what has happened. Shame on the sales people at the Beville Road store!
