Perfect name for a place that almost looks like it could be an airplane hanger! A very small, old school airplane hanger, but nonetheless. Ok maybe more like an old warehouse or newspaper factory, I don’t know. The atmosphere of Warped Wing is really inviting and they have a good amount of their own beers available(I hate it when you go to a brewery and they only have like 4 beers.). I’ve had the Ermal’s before which is solid, so I decided to go with the 10 Ton Oatmeal Stout this time. The bartender was really nice and she let me try a few before I came to my decision. I also like that they have a little grill in the brewery. Definitely clutch for the munchies you get a few beers in. Overall a good experience!

We were visiting Dayton and stopped by here when they were having their anniversary party. Lots of people but it was easy to get food and beer(as long as you could stand up). Their beer is awesome. We tried several of their manstays(oatmeal stout, rye IPA, red IPA) and all were excellent. Dayton really has a great thing going with this place. Had a little bit of their food — a pretzel that is made from used brewers grains. This was also very good. Cool atmosphere too and the pub tenders were friendly.

Wow!~ What a gem for our Gem City! This brewery is fantastic. Its simplicity is its greatest attribute, Publican seating in the true English pub style, where you are force to make a friend… Staff is as inviting as a warm bubble bath.

Up and coming brewery with solid variety of ales. RateBeer is high on this place and I was pleased to experience it in its infancy.

Yet another Dayton brewery that has stepped up their game over the past year. I knew this place was going to be packed when I chose it as our meeting place based on what I’ve heard from other people from this area. Thankfully, when my friend and I walked in, we saw two open seats at the bar and snagged them. Unfortunately for us, we failed to realize these two seats were right next to one of the ordering areas. Once people started pouring in, personal space quickly became a thing of the past. Most apologized for the inconvenience, but really, what can you do? I’ve never seen a brewery this packed before. Clearly, Warped Wing is becoming a Dayton institution and for good reason. Their beer is absolutely delectable. My favorite from my last visit was their Flying Heads — a dubbel pumpkin with cocoa nibs. My, oh, my… I could drink it all night, but I’d be dead to the world in the morning. I would also like to mention the collaborative effort between Warped Wing and Esther Price chocolates: Esther’s Lil Secret. You’ve never tasted chocolate in beer like this. It’s not a «hint» or a «note,» it is full blown chocolate goodness in beer. I savored every drop. Every beer I tried was a hit with me. I can’t wait to come back in December!

Such a fun place! It is a large, open warehouse with an open front. The beer is decent. Had a great Saturday afternoon here.

This is a really fun space to hang out with really good beer. What else do you need? Pinball? Yes, they have that too. Bring quarters.

Love the layout. Renovated old factory with open air. Beautiful on the spring day that I visited. Fooseball, oversize Jenga, pinball machines made the visit a lot of fun. Had the Pirogue, a Belgian style tripel, that was excellent — chocolatey, rich, and smooth. Highly recommend.

One of the BEST craft breweries and tasting rooms in the Dayton/Cincinnati region. Absolutely love visiting this place. My favorite beers are the Cascara Saison and the Incorruptible Belgian IPA. A must try if in the Dayton area!!!

First off, don’t let the lack of food there dissuade you from going! There are several adequate places that will deliver your dinner. The beer — holy smokes! This warehouse converted to microbrewery really is great! There is a giant Jenga game, European-style community tables and the beer. We loved the Ermal’s(interesting, I don’t think I’ve had one like this), 10-Ton(if it weren’t for the next one, this would be my holy-smokes favorite) and the Pirogue. I’m not going to lie, next time I go, I’m not wasting time on anything else. This Pirogue is magically delicious. We’ve lived all over the world with the military and it is great to see something like this come to Dayton. They really have an excellent business model and true artisans making beer. The warehouse just makes it that much better. I don’t think I’d change a thing!

Dayton was relatively late getting on the craft brewery train. But, in the past few years a half dozen or so solid brew houses have sprung up in the Gem City. So far Warped Wing is the stand out not only in Dayton but in the region. The novelty of Warped Wing is its unique location and creative ambiance. Set inside an old foundry in a rundown(but currently revitalizing) section near downtown, the brewery is the epitome of urban renewal. My experience with such rehabs is mixed – Warped Wing though does a great job of keeping the gritty, industrial feel without being dingy or dirty. From the massive 10-ton crane to the cavernous warehouse stacked with oak barrels, there are so many fun, unique details of this place that really enhanced my experience. I’m happy to say that the beer lives up to the stellar atmosphere. Everything that I have tried so far has been balanced, nuanced, and creatively brewed. You can tell that they are on their way to being one of the elite outfits in the region. I was especially floored by their Pirogue — a black Belgian Tripel — which was complex, unique, and delicious. I’m excited to see this brewery mature as they hone their skill. Warped Wing runs a standard taproom setup offering a full line up of their standard, season and special beers. All beers are served in either 16 oz pints or 13 oz tulips with the option of purchasing a flight. Like many taprooms, the food options are limited to some light snacks and the option of ordering pies from a local pizzeria. The amazing surroundings combined with fantastic beer created one of my favorite brewery experiences that I’ve ever had. Warped Wing is well on its way to establishing itself on my short list of brewery loves.

Dudes and Dudettes, I’ve yet to go into the brewery itself, but regularly crack open their cans on my Northern Kentucky river front porch. The cans have amazing artwork and a great story that is sure to put a smile on your face. I’m born and raised in Dayton, OH, so, DYT till I DIE for sure. I am so proud to slurp down some Ermal Cream Ale, or Flying Rye. Their brew is original, extremely relatable, and super tasty! I might be little biased, but Warped Wing should be an essential part of your house hold beer selection, or on tap at your local brew pub. In Cincinnati you can find it at Halfcut Brew Pub in OTR.

Great location, very spacious and inviting interior, and tasty selection of beers. One of the best breweries that I’ve ever visited and look forward to going back next time I’m in Dayton.

Warped wing was really awesome. I like the few Warped Wing beers we get down in Cincinnati, so I was excited to drive up and check out the source. the brewery and taproom are both located in the same giant space. The building is really cool, it has an industrial feel since it’s an old factory, but still feels clean and polished. There is a massive box crane on tracks that spans the width of the building that also adds to the feel. It was a beautiful day when we were up there, and they had the front of the building open. I have to say that sitting there on a Friday afternoon with a beer and a light breeze blowing in, looking out at the city against a gorgeous blue sky is the most relaxed I’ve been in a while. It’s definitely a memory I will look back on fondly. Also, the beer is fantastic! They have some cool experimental beers, but above all, the quality is high and consistent. There are a lot of excellent craft breweries in this region, but for quite a few of them there seems to be an occasional off batch.

Warped Wing is the newest cool spot in the OD. I enjoyed my time there. It’s a garage type set up, so lots of fresh air gets in on a nice night. That wins in my book. It was mostly a younger crowd the Friday I was there. They only had a few brews available, but they were quality so it evens out. Make sure to check out Warped Wing if you’re in Dayton looking for a good beer!

Warped Wing was our third stop of Dayton breweries for my Dad’s birthday and what a cool space in Downtown Dayton. I loved walking into the old warehouse, filled with tons of natural light and lots of tables filled with people enjoying local craft beer. My friend and I went up to the bar to order a flight, each of the beers on tap were clearly marked and the bar staff was friendly, helping explain the beers, informing us of the limited edition beers Siam Thai Saison. Their 3 beers, they produce and can right on site are Flyin’ Rye IPA, Ermal’s Belgian Style Cream Ale and 10 Ton Oatmeal stout. Everyone we met at Warped Wing was so friendly and my Dad eyed people playing cards, which is right up his alley, we will have to return soon to enjoy some more great Dayton craft beer in an amazing location in Dayton, Ohio!
