On google and on Unilocal it says that Siam Pad Thai is open until 930pm. We walked in at 905pm for a quick meal to split and were told that they were not serving dine in anymore and that we could get carry out. Well this would be okay if I hadn’t called about 5 minutes earlier to ask is they were serving dine in and sushi and they responded yes. This is the 3rd time we’ve gone and left without eating. I will not be recommending anymore and stringing suggesting to stay away.

Please don’t underestimate this place. It is small and doesn’t look like much but the food is dynamic. We had the Chili Basil fried rice, crab meat cheese, Siam Thai Beef sticks and Traditional Fried Rice with shrimp. Great service and even better food. The great thing is they have carry out too. So I’ll be grabbing some of that soon. If you want someplace upscale and nice inside, this isn’t your place. The food is great but the décor is blah. But I could care less. It’s clean, simple but good food and service.

Good Thai food and BYOB – what else could you want? Simple atmosphere – too few servers for the customers – not the servers’ fault!

Love their food. Restaurant would benefit being in a larger facility because of popularity(tend to nearly sit on top of other parties) but the food is good.

This restaurant may not look like much but it is amazing! This is by far my favorite Asian restaurant! it is BYOB and so beyond affordable! the Pad Thai is so good! I recommend this restaurant to everyone i know! A true Dayton gem!

Four starts for their Pad Thai! Not a fan of their sushi and they have very few gluten free options, but their Pad Thai is excellent.

Good Thai place tucked into an unsuspecting strip full of fast food joints and car repair places. Plates are very affordable, portions are generous. BYOB is allowed… they will give you glasses if you want but otherwise their drinks are limited to water or soda. The restaurant itself is about 12’x12’. Not a lot of space, tables are very close to each other. When crowded can be uncomfortable.

One star. My food was the exact opposite of what I asked for and I was missing some of the food items I paid for.

I have only eaten at Siam Pad Thai Restaurant once and it was MORE than excellent. I had the Pad Thai and it was completely incredible. I also ordered a Shrimp/Veggie dish to take home. Again, very tasty. Service was good. Prices were great. If you are looking for posh and glamour, find another place. This was good and clean, but pretty simple on interior design, if that is important to you. If FOOD is important to you, this is the place.

Very good Thai food! The dishes are prepared very well and of good quality. Good atmosphere and great lighting. I really like their chicken. The only thing is, sometimes it takes a long time to get the check.

Good food and nice ambience. I have tried the fried rice and few other entrees and do go regularly for lunch. Their max spice level of 4 means that it is indeed hot and spice, which is great for an Indian guy. Usually other restaurants even at their mac spice level tastes bland. Service is good and during peak lunch hours, you would see the place crowded too. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to eat nice thai food.

Showed up during the restaurant hours posted on the door and their chef ran us out of the restaurant. The terribly RUDE man claimed that they weren’t open and asked us to show him the hours posted on the door(which indeed showed that they were open). Restaurant owner please FIRE that man and also update your hours… You do have 2 signs on your front door. One sign says you open at 4pm and the other shows 5pm. I actually have to say that man made me worry about my safety, he went berserk. I used to be a regular but now after TERRIBLE people skills from one of their employees, I will move my business elsewhere. I have also told all of my friends and family to move their business elsewhere because of the CRAZY man who works there.

Best Thai I’ve had in Dayton! The restaurant is small but quaint, so getting a table might take a bit longer but the wait is worth it because the food is delicious. The Thai currys are great and the drunken noodle is delicious. The hot pots are a must if you have a group to share with. I’ve never had the sushi but I will definitely try it the next time I go. A great spot for take-out!

I went in to Siam Pad Thai with very low expectations and found it to be better than I expected. While not the best Thai food I have had by far, their food is all nicely flavored and reasonably well cooked. The drunken noodles were better than the green curry and the appetizer calamari has a lovely spiciness. Prices are pretty good. It was empty when I was there, but it was also 5:30pm on a Tuesday. Service was cheerful and fast.

We went early and luckily it wasnt crowded at all. On our way I noticed the Greene choking on traffic. The BYOB thing is simply amazing! We were seated immediately and service was good throughout the meal. I had the Phad Thai(chicken) and she had the Masaman Curry. We both ordered 2⁄4 on the hot scale. Mine was just right while hers was more like a 3.5. I loved my dish and ate every scrap… no carry home for me. Her Curry was full of great flavors. This was my first time and iwil definitely be back to try more on this great looking menu. So, skip the Greene and head on down some time.

This place is a keeper. We were first time patrons for Valentines Day dinner. Excellent food; well prepared, flavorful, worth making a trip back to further explore the menu. Service, as previously mentioned in other reviews, is slooooooooooow. It wasn’t that big of a deal for us that evening since we spent the night lustily staring into each others eyes, enjoying the moment. However, be prepared to wait and take your time. The food is really worth it. BYOB is a complete score with this place. No corkage or glass fees either. Winner winner Green curry chicken dinner! Why I docked one star: I know this place is small and I have the utmost respect for small business owners who know their craft and can rock the menu, but … the décor and ambiance in this place needs some help. From the small office(with a inkjet printer!) in the dinning area to the general décor to the table and booth layout, it just felt weird. I can just imagine Robert Irvine walking in the door with a perplexed look on his face. However, it won’t deter us from going back and shouldn’t deter you from supporting a gem of a Thai restaurant and these hard working entrepreneurs. The food rocks.

HOLYMOLEY! I am in LOVE with Siam Pad Thai! I have to say that I have not ordered an extensive range of dishes on their menu but can give a few suggestions. Pad See Ew(my favorite), Tofu Fried Rice(my wife’s favorite), Pad Thai, Masaman Curry(didn’t spell that right), and Sweet Potato Tempura Sushi Roll. All amazing. The only challenge you can run into is getting appropriate seating for a group larger than 4. I have learned that you can call ahead and get reserved seating. I usually try and give them an hour. Also, be aware that they sometimes have strange hours. We are usually just as satisfied getting takeout as long as when I call I get someone that understands me. Service when dining in is for the most part is good. Nothing to write home about but the food is sooooooo good that I don’t care. Haha If you are looking for Thai in Dayton it is a 50⁄50 on Thai Kitchen on kings ridge or this gem. I don’t even go to Thai 9 anymore. Cheers!

BYOB! Slow service, but friendly. Had great sushi and pad thai. Everyone enjoyed their food. Must try the Hawaii roll. Delicious!

Went here last night for the first time. Honestly, they had me at BYOB. So, I did! Ok. The food. The sushi was damn good. The Hawaii roll? Seriously, marry me. You would be missing out if you don’t try this place at least once. The service was absolutely fantastic. Warm, good people. I know I’ll be going back… Complete with a bottle of wine in my purse!
