I came here because of the great reviews on Unilocal — however, I will NOT be back. I have a relatively new car that I have never had any problems with and the check engine light turned on. I brought it over to auto zone and they diagnosed it as a very minor issue. I then brought the diagnosis over to this place and wanted them to fix the minor issue. However, I was greeted with terrible service and the man said he would not trust the reports and would have to diagnose it again for $ 90! The cost would go up from there depending on issue. WHAT!!! That is a terrible way to treat customers! Save your money and do not come here!
I would highly recommend Auto Zone for a diagnosis tho :)

Reasonable prices. Good quality work. Good turnaround. Had a brake job done there recently and was very pleased.

We started going to Gallagher a few years ago because they were walking distance from home. We continue to go to them because of the excellent service they provide at reasonable prices. Both my husband and I have had reason to go there in the past month.
My car died on the road on a rainy Monday. I had AAA tow my car to Gallagher. I was behind a man who was a walk-​in/​no appointment who wanted an oil change. He was give the honest response that it would be late day that they could get to him, but if he wanted morning service, they could make an appointment for him for tomorrow. Since I had a bigger issue than that, I wasn’t optimistic about the timeline, but I then realized that they prioritize things over there. I am happy to report that they not only were able to do a diagnostic on my car by lunch, but they were able to get a part in for my ’94 Mercury Capri, and I was back on the road by 5pm. (By comparison, I had this SAME part replaced at the dealership in Centerville 3 years prior, who took 2 WEEKS to get my part and charged nearly twice as much.)
My husband had his car in for an oil change and a diagnostic to deal with an airbag light. Being one of those elusive problems that pops up one day and goes away the next, when they ran the diagnostic, nothing popped up. Being the honest folks they are, not being able to nail down the problem that day, he wasn’t charged for the diagnosic.
