I will never buy anything from this store again.
I returned something, and it has been a month, and still NO credit.
They admit they received the merchandise back, and keep telling me
it is up to their WAREHOUSE??? to process credit??? I am getting nowhere.
HATE this store. Rude persons answering phone not at all helpful!!!111

The prices are a little higher than Kohls, but the quality has always been better for me. Things tend to not fall apart so soon, they iron better, etc. I get all my business-​casual slacks and shirts here. The only place I’d like better right now is Macy’s, but EB has similar stuff and more frequent sales discounts. Watch for their Friends and Family discounts — extremely good. EB is a step closer to the Marshall Fields stores I grew up with in Chicago.

Elder Beerman is usually not very exciting, and most of the time I’m here it means I’m at the mall which is even worse. This location, however, is in a strip mall down the way from the Greene, and it’s close to home.
I’ve stopped by a few times in the recent past for watch repair, and had good experiences. The woman working in the jewelry department was very nice and helpful, both times. Last night we went to get a new pair of slacks for a job interview, and the guys working in the men’s department were also very friendly and helpful (actually pointing out the cheapest and best stuff).
Overall, not the best Elder Beerman as it’s a bit smaller than most so it has less of a selection, but the people that work there are pretty swell.
