This beauty college/salon&spa is phenomenal! The students and staff are friendly and have great customer service, I’m a frequent customer. The facility is gorgeous and clean, couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Avoid, avoid, avoid. It should be common sense to avoid letting students deal with your hair, right? Not for me and my never-​ending search for the perfect bargain. I went there asking for a simple long layer cut, which any novice can perform – see YouTube for evidence. Instead, the student chopped off one wide piece in the back three inches below my hair length and didn’t blend it in at all. The instructor approved it, even though the mistake was noticeable to other people. Even a professional stylist couldn’t correct or blend it – I had to have everything cut up to that point. As a result, I lost three inches of length that took six months to grow.
I also had a color there another time, and asked for a natural shade close to my hair color. Instead, the student dyed my hair blue black – I looked like a punk. The instructor approved that one too. Both students had numerous facial piercings and multi-​colored hair (e.g., blue, purple, fire-​orange red, etc.). I used to be indulgent about the personal style of hairdressers, but now I’ve learned to avoid the ones that look like they’re on serious drugs.
Though I had gotten some nice service in hair schools in the past, these last two incidents have made me steer clear for good.
