CertaPro Painters of Dayton

We signed up with CertaPro Painters after seeing them at a home show. The quote for staining our deck was competitive and they assured us they could start right away. After many weeks of rain delay, they finally showed up. After 3 days of less than 5 hours of work each day, they steam cleaned and managed to complete half of the deck, including the underside (which was to be included) that oversprayed on the furniture, rugs and other items on the top side of the deck. This was after warning them about spraying under the deck without moving or using plastic to protect the furniture. Needless to say, we haven’t seen them since even after multiple calls. I guess the good thing is that we haven’t paid them.

Less than a year after having trim for the entire house painted, there is peeling/​flaking in multiple locations. Concerns were reported starting in March of this year and, to date, there has been plan for repair from CertaPro. After multiple unreturned phone calls, we finally reached someone in person who assured us a tecnician would be out to assess the situation. We are now to May– no one has ever come out, no return calls, no repairs made. Poor follow through, poor customer service. avoid this company.
