I first tried Pilates at a different studio and was lucky enough to have Sue as my instructor. At that time(years ago), I was trying to lose some weight and get stronger. Sue helped me get to my goal and convinced me that working out could be fun. After NOTDOING Pilates for over 5 years, I’m back with Sue at her own studio. Unfortunately, I have put on weight and actually have quite a few aches and pains. Sue is helping me address these problems and is working with me to get stronger and become pain-free. After just 2+ months, I can see some physical changes already and I’m slowly becoming pain-free. She is good at assessing the problem and makes adjustments in order to minimize and eliminate pain. Some of my flexibility and strength are returning and this time, I’m committed to continuing Pilates with Sue.

I have been working with Sue for over 4 years. I mainly attend her mat classes but have experienced both bosu and springboard classes as well. Every class is a new experience, and she often will ask us what we’d like to focus on that day and she adjusts the workout accordingly. The time flies by and I always feel as though I’ve had a good work out when I leave. Some classes can get repetitive but Sue keeps changing up her classes so they are new every visit. She has a long-time following and it is wonderful to work out with the same people week after week.

Lovely Pilates studio. Sue has an eclectic style that emphasizes strength and grace. She is very tuned in to her students bodies and adjusts her sessions on the fly to accommodate special needs. I have been taking lessons with Sue for 5 years and feel really lucky to have found her. Seems like it is important to do some private sessions to learn the basics — after that, double or triple classes are fabulous. Her equipment is good and she is extremely knowledgeable in its use. She is a dear person and a teacher you can trust and grow with.
