Good place to hang out late at night. This place is not very visible from G st and their toast dessert is pretty good and messy too.

Love this place. Their drinks are to die for and their ramen is so delicious too. Prices are really affordable and the owner Jimmy is the nicest guy. Really cares about his customers. They also have FIVESTARS now so you earn FREE stuff just for going there. LOVEIT and definitely going back tomorrow

I was craving for some horchata boba, so my friend referred me to this place. The menu was confusing because there are a few different menus. The horchata boba was called«cowchata» by the way. I did not see it on the menu, but it was on their top 8 boba sign. After I ordered my drink, I played around on their indoor swing! Very cute. :) They have board games available too. My horchata boba came out to be a little over $ 5. It tasted like the liquid version of cinnamon toast crunch cereal because it is SO sweet. :(I wish I could have adjusted the sweetness level or something. My friend ordered the potted milk tea. The oreo is the«dirt» and the gummy worm is the«earth warm’. The milk tea had a toffee flavor to it, which I think goes well with oreo. Again, it was too sweet for my taste. I wish they would organize their menu better. There are some foods that I would have ordered(like the mochi waffle) if I saw it before I purchased my drink.

How Davis-esque of a boba place! You have cow décor, grass, a swing, and board games to keep yourself entertained as you wait on your drink! Fun photo ops! Speaking of drinks, there is an endless menu on the wall, so hard to pick just one! They also have alcoholic boba, for those of your interested, but I was a bit skeptical on how that combo would be! I got a Vietnamese coffee with black tea added, vanilla ice cream and boba. I can’t say it’s the best I’ve had, a bit watered down, but still delightful taste and presentation! The servers are super nice and good at making suggestions if you want to custom make a concoction! Also, there’s parking in the mini plaza it’s located in, so that’s a plus!

I have been going to Lazi Cow since they opened with my best friend. What started off as a curiosity and craving for boba turned into one of our favorite places to go to. We have been«VIP» customers for quite some time here and were honored to try out their menu items as they tested out various food items. Brick toast has always been a go-to item for my friends and I. It’s beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious! We cannot take enough photos of their brick toast! However, when we are not as hungry, we opt to order the single toast(which we think is like a mini brick toast). Yes it can get loud at times there, but you could always ask a staff member to lower the music level down slightly if it bothers you. The popcorn chicken is delicious! I totally recommend ordering a plate to share with a friend over boba! It’s freshly made. Both my best friend and I were extremely elated when we found out they were introducing ramen to the menu. Davis really lacks decent ramen! The ramen is not overly salty, the egg is JUST right and the pork is on point. It’s perfect for a cold day! Favorite boba between my best friend and I: OMGtea(mandarin orange + GT) Sunset Passion Skittle Tipsy Cow(alcoholic, tastes like a creamy strawberry starburst!) BoMax(alcoholic) Honeysquat Blueberry Margaritea Favorite food items here: Miso Ramen Tonkatsu Ramen Popcorn chicken Chicken nuggets(super fresh!)

Absolutely love this place! Came here for boba and found out that they have alcoholic boba! My boyfriend and I had their Bomax and Dirty D drink, and it was really good! However, the Dirty D tastes just a bit better to me if you’re into yogurt soju. The décor inside the place is super cute too! It has a cow seat and a swing! How cute! Our cashier was also really nice. Would definitely come here again. :)

Best brick toast I’ve ever had in Northern California :) Came here on a Thursday night to hang out with some friends for some brick toast! I’ve tried multiple brick toast and milk tea places, but this was the best! The toasts were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! Most places toasts are usually too hard and dry, but this place was perfect. Highly recommended!

First time coming here after hearing a lot of negativity surrounding this restaurant. Went with a friend late afternoon and we each ordered a drink and a white chocolate macademia nut cowzookie to share. The place wasn’t crowded at all(only one other party of 4 besides us) but was extremely loud inside. The music was playing so loud that I could barely hear my friend while chatting. The other customers were not very mindful either and added to the noise already present. DRINKS: I ordered a passionfruit green tea with boba. It was mediocre and had a weird foam that puzzled me. A little bit too sweet for my tastes but decent enough to finish. DESSERT: The cowzookie was extremely hard to scoop out of it’s container. We added an extra scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The cowzookie by its self was also a little bit too sweet but did taste decent(I enjoy the ones from BJs more) and was about less than 5″ in diameter.

Absolutely horrible. I went to try their food on their second food promotion a month ago. It was extremely underwhelming at lackluster. It took 55 minutes to get a plate of braised pork. Now, I can understand why it took so long IFTHEREWASTONSOFPEOPLE, but there were only 3 parties ahead of me. The wait was unexpected for that length of waiting. The food and boba was nothing special. I would not visit here again. Go someplace else.

A dessert/milk tea place that embodies the quirkiness of Davis. They have a variety of tea/dessert drinks, pizookie, brick toast, food, and now alcoholic boba! It’s a very casual café environment that has board games, hip music, and Davis/Cow-town themed décor. The brick toast here is their main specialty: half a loaf of bread, toasted so the pieces are crisp outside but soft inside– paired with sweets and syrup/condensed milk galore. They allow you to customize the ice cream flavors– green tea, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, etc. It takes them 20 – 30 minutes to make and is best shared. The alcoholic boba here is just okay– the boba itself is very sweet and maintains its texture in the alcohol but the drinks were just ok. I tried the green tea heineken and it was a little too sour for me and the sex on the beach was sour as well. Somehow, the drinks mixed together tasted better? But they have more options for alchoholic boba than most places I’ve seen. I think the milk tea was subpar but hopefully they’ve improved in the past year. This is fun a place to hang out with a large group and enjoy dessert. Order a variety of desserts, take pictures on the cow and swing, and play games if you’re still waiting. Also– they support student groups with fundraisers! A very Davis boba place.

+/-THE DRINKS I ordered the peach watermelon tea drink and thought it was alright. I asked for lychee jelly but they gave me boba instead. I liked how you get the cool glass jar when you order to drink at the place. However, if you order to go, the size of the cup is significantly bigger. The drink had a balanced tea and fruity taste so I enjoyed that. I tried a bit of the milk tea and it was just okay as it did not impress me much. +/-THE ENVIRONMENT Loved how this place is decorated. Friendly vibes and a lot of small tables for people to hang out. They have plenty of board games along the wall and even have a swing inside(but do they expect us to really swing around and not break anything?). I noticed they had a projector and I know they used to play movies on it but now there is a menu along the wall so not really sure how they would be able to use their projector screen anymore. The menu was extensive but also confusing because it had so much on it. They also abbreviate some terms on the menu so you have to look back and forth between the different menus to figure out what’s in your drink.

I ordered the popular potted milk tea with soy milk and tater tots. It took my drink 30 minutes to come out and only came out after I asked. Also it took my tater tots FIFTYMINUTES to come out. My drink tasted like straight up soy milk. I asked two workers about my tater tots lol beforehand. The staff is friendly but I don’t know how my order got lost and the reaction time was so slow. Sorry I will not be coming back. I paid ten dollars total and I could have received better at a Quicklys. Only one star for nice staff. No star for food or drink.

Never knew this place existed all the times I’ve visited my boyfriend! We always either got our boba fix from Teabo or Old Teahouse. Since Sharetea was super packed due to their grand opening, we found Lazi Cow! Loved the inside decoration and chill vibe! There was a few handful of students lounging around but I dont know how they were able to study with the loud upbeat music & burnt smelling toasts that filled the entire place.(Open the doors next time to air it all out!!!) The drinks were alright. I had the Tropical Tea which tasted like Arizona tea. I’d like to come back and try the alcoholic beverages but I honestly am deathly afraid… Boba + vodka + milk? Doesnt that sound like a stomach ache? Lol I’d still try it to just to say I did.

A great place to come kick it with friends! The ambiance is nice, the workers have great customer service(shout out to Brandan. He was so friendly and very knowledgable about the menu), and their alcoholic boba is delicious! I do wish they would turn on the AC tho… It gets hot esp when it get crowded

I came here specifically for the alcoholic boba. Whoever thought of this idea is a total genius. Lazi Cow is located in Davis, which is almost a 30 minute drive from where I live, but I had to try their alcohol infused boba. Upon entry, my friends and I were greeted immediately. The employees were very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. We ordered the Bomax, Piña Cowlada, and the Tipsy Cow. It’s 50 cents more for the regular honey boba and $ 1 more for their alcoholic boba. We were told that they use soju for the alcohol. The drinks were served in really cute mason jars. I could taste the alcohol in my Piña Cowlada, but I could not detect any pineapple or coconut flavor. My friend said he could not taste alcohol in his Bomax, yet my other friend said the Tipsy Cow stayed true to its description on the menu. Maybe I came on an off day, but I was a little disappointed. I thought it would be more of an alcoholic milk tea, but the drinks are better described as fruity mixed drinks with boba. We all thought that our drinks were just okay. I do plan on returning, however, to try the other alcoholic drinks.

Came here to try this new place. But I was a little disappointed. Got their Lazy Cow milk tea which is black milk tea with vanilla ice cream. It tastes like regular milk tea, just creamier. So I dont think it is worth the extra cost to get this instead of the regular milk tea. But on the other hand their rose milk tea is great! Very sweet and I could definitely taste the Rose tea. I think this place can be a cool hang out place because they have a little swing and a bunch of board games that you can play with. This is one of those places I would come to in the weekends with a group of friends just to chill. Would come back to try their honey toast brick! Until then, Cheers!

Lazi Cow, you really are pretty lazy. I’ve had a few subpar experiences here. I’ve come once and asked for about 6 items for which the employees said they didn’t have yet. Why would you have a menu full of stuff that you don’t serve… Not very appealing or professional. Now it’s better, but I swear they just get lazy and decide not to serve certain foods and just cross it out on the menu. I guess I can’t complain since I still come here for the drinks. Though their drink names are popping. Sex on the Peach? Puns got me like damn. That one’s an alcoholic drink by the way and you can barely taste the alcohol. They also all come in mason jars for dine-in drinks – hipster milk teas. The brick toast is alright. Nothing special. 3 for never having anything I god damn want, but punny names at least.

I really have to give Lazi Cow some props. No kidding,(and I don’t mean this in a bad way) I didn’t think they would make it alive as being another boba place in Davis. They’ve gone thru some remodeling but I think this one has been their best yet! Drink: They have a very wide selection! It kind of takes me a while to decide what I want. However, I love lychee and their peach lychee drink is pretty good! Most of their fruit drinks taste true to flavor! Their passion fruit drinks taste like passion fruit and mango peach tastes like how it sounds. Whenever I come in and see other people with their drinks, it makes me crave that drink. I think it’s because Lazi Cow really makes it aesthetically pleasing. Food: I ordered their Matcha Green Tea Brick Toast and maybe it was too late or something but it was kinda meh. The inside of the toast was good but the outside was really bland. Being $ 11, it makes me feel blah :(! But being the only brick toast place in Davis. you might as well try it once! Their tacos! YUM! Kind of pricey though.(I promise I’m not being cheap lol) Update 08⁄26: ordered matcha green tea brick toast again and this time it was delicious! Kirby made our bricktoast and wow! It was great and he added more stuff that I never had on it before! Ambiance: It’s pretty fun hanging out here! They also have tons of board games. I think their new updated remodel is very ‘Davis’-y. There’s this cute little corner for a quick photo-op haha. Bonus points for having wi-fi! It’s really spacious here for people to study/hang out.

This place is like a hidden gem since it’s located on the outskirts of Davis, tucked behind a pet store. Since its opening, this place has become one of my top spots to get boba in Davis. The ambiance here is pretty chill. With the new remodeling it’s great for hanging out with friends, catching up or studying. Their new set up has one seaters against the wall with outlets at every seat which is really convenient for studying on a laptop. The drinks are pretty consistent. I’ve gotten Jasmine milk tea, green tea with sea cream, BonsaiBonsai, and Milky Way. I personally like the green tea with sea cream the best. It’s a very light drink compared to milk teas and it’s not very sweet. Sometimes the drinks are a bit too sweet. The service here is awesome! They’re really friendly and accommodating. They now have mason jars for drinks if you’re dining in and if you didn’t finish, don’t hesitate to ask them to put it in a plastic cup for you to go!

Lazi Cow definitely changed quite a bit since our very first visit. They added more cow-theme décor, and even a random swing. Also, they have board games to play. The menu is no longer listed on the wall, but they are provided right when you walk inside the door. The menu is new and includes a ton of new things like daily food specials, alcoholic boba drinks, soy milk options, and candy drinks. We realized all of the items with stars weren’t even available yet until I asked again at the register to clarify and he said most of them ARE available. so it took us another 10 minutes to decide. The guy working wasn’t the most professional — he said things like«unsoyable.» really?! Also his recommendations weren’t even good according to what our friends ordered. I went with the Lazi Cow Style — black tea with vanilla ice cream, tasted like a true milk tea! They come in huge cups too. We ordered the Jenga toast and I didn’t think it was worth $ 11 for the amount we got. But it did taste good! This is a great spot if you’re looking for a quieter laid back boba stop — it was almost empty on a Friday night. However if you plan on coming late make sure you call ahead — they kicked us out around 11 even though they have hours posted they’re open until 1am!
