I like Publix, what can I say? It just annoys me that every Publix carries different stuff, so sometimes we have to play the which-Publix-did-we-get-that-kale-at? game.

This location is terrible and the cashiers are rude and annoying. The food is not as fresh as other locations and they don’t carry as much inventory as other locations. I actually had one cashier talk down to me when I knew that what he was saying was incorrect. He wouldn’t admit that he was wrong and I ended up walking out without buying anything. I can’t stand to shop at this location and I try to avoid it all costs.

always better than winn-dixie; fresh produce, beer & wine and seafood selection makes the trip worthwhile! ahhh… seasonal mango iced tea.

Most Publixes are basically the same, but in comparison to ones in the nearby area, this one makes me slightly unhappy. Why, you might ask? 1) The produce is scary. Have you ever seen a fungus on a zucchini rapidly spread to surrounding zucchini? I have. I almost surgically removed my eyes afterwards to avoid the possibility of seeing such horrors again. 2) Generally speaking, Publix sushi is gross… but this store’s is extra gross. 3) During one visit, the cashier began telling me in great detail about why her work schedule upset her. It was extremely awkward. After I left the store, I realized I had forgotten an ingredient, but I also realized she was the *only* register open at that hour. Long story short? I decided to make that recipe another day.
