Great flavored nitrogen ice cream. Not runny. I recommend this place for anyone who hasn’t tried a nitrogen ice cream joint. There’s other places on university drive but this place is the best tasting. The only negative is that they are a bit skimpy on toppings but the flavor a are so good you don’t need a lot of toppings anyways. I ordered the Nutella flavor with Oreos and white chocolate, it was delish!

This is a dreamy place indeed! An ice cream place for absolutely everyone to check out, especially Filipinos. Why you ask? Well they offer some exotic flavors like ube, avocado, maiz con yelo and my personal favorite, honey mango sour sop just to name a few. Plus they do offer HALO-HALO. A Filipino dessert that traditionally comes with ube ice cream, leche flan, beans and jelly. A must try I only stress Filipino a lot only because Filipino food places are not common in Florida, and where there is one, word spreads like wild fire. Having to sample the honey mango sour sop immediately brought flashbacks. It reminded me of my Lola’s(grandma) mango ice candy back in the Philippines she used to make when we were younger. Very nostalgic so I would call this place a little slice of heaven especially to Filipinos since I know most of us miss back home, that includes me. Plus this place is incredibly sweet and charming. I’m a big fan of the design of this place. All white and light gray with beautiful backsplash and marble counter tops. Gives you a sense of cleanliness Innovative menu, friendly employees and free samples. Their ice cream taste and quality is very unique. They are not extremely sweet like most ice creams, very creamy and not super duper cold that make your gums hurt. Ice cream is made fresh with real ingredients. How do I know? I can see some of very little mango fibers in my ice cream. That’s a GREATSIGN. Legit A bit pricey but for the flavors they offer and quality, I think it’s fitting. This is located next to hair cuttery and painting with a twist in a target plaza. Love this place and definitely will come back

I don’t know if nitrogen ice cream is gonna be the new cupcake of fads, but it certainly is a fun novelty. For the uniqueness of flavors and manual labor, I felt the price for the ice cream was totally worth it. I personally try my best to support small businesses. There is another review on here that suggests having more flavors, but honestly I think 9 is more than enough. The more choices we have, the harder time we have with deciding what we want and it can actually derive less satisfaction. Sometimes, I can’t believe that we have a whole aisle in a grocery store devoted to cereal. I personally liked the Triple Berry and Orange Honey the most. I also think it’s worth it to get the large in terms of price and being able to get 2 flavors. The place is clean and a pleasant ambiance. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for sweet treat as it warms up in Florida.

I’ve only been to a nitrogen ice cream place in Georgia so when they opened one right in Davie, I was excited to try it! Actually, now they have two in Davie. It’s nice seeing a Filipino business open up since they’re not as common here than say the West coast, where they’re everywhere. I love that they have all the flavors that bring me back to home– ube, mango, mais con queso, avocado, and even halo halo. I really like the honey and orange flavor too. I admit that I always bring some ice cream home so I can snack on it later when I’m craving something sweet.

My friends and I came here one night after studying all day and it was such a refreshing experience for all of us. The owner was so sweet and explaining how she made the ice creams. She offered us samples and even explained how natural the ice creams were. We all ended up getting the mango soursop one. We loved that there were little mango chunks in the ice cream and it tasted extremely fresh and light. The place was clean and bright and had a wonderful atmosphere. I do wish there were a couple chairs and tables outside though.

I’ve been here twice now. I think the concept is really cool– I remember this was a science experiment back in high school to make ice cream in a plastic baggy with nitrogen. The first time I went with some friends and I ordered the double chocolate, and while the flavor was great, I didn’t like the stiff hard texture of the ice cream. I saw all the rave reviews from others saying it was creamy, but it was everything but that the first time around. The service was great both times, but today they were extremely busy and did a wonderful job. Today I returned to try some of their more unique offering and was immediately drawn to a new seasonal option honey mango with soursop, but had come with the intent of trying the green tea. No problem, I can get two flavors in a medium– perfect! Anyway… I think the way they make certain flavors is different. Both flavors were perfect– sweet, creamy, and the flavors were spot on. This was the best green tea ice cream I’ve had in a long time! I loved it. I liked the honey mango & soursop as well but there were inedible mango strings in it(the part too close to the seed) that I had to spit out. Love that they use fresh fruit though– that’s amazing. They are definitely spot on with the exotic flavors, and offer many unique ones that are hard to find elsewhere. So I give Creams and Dreams a thumbs up and I’m so glad I gave them another chance. I highly recommend trying something new here. My boyfriend got the vanilla bean and enjoyed it but his looked to have the hard texture my double chocolate did.

SONATURALYOUCANFEELIT = Okay, the idea of having little chunks of Oranges or Taro in your Ice Cream may not sound very appealing, but it totally still flowed with the creaminess of the Ice Cream. I later learned this particular flavor had less than five ingredients… all things easily found in my pantry. Other flavors we tried were the Espresso and Ube – all delicious, creamy, and so so natural. GIGGLYATALLTHESMOKE = Screw adulting; once the staff poured the liquid nitrogen over the blenders(which tirelessly worked while in perfect view of all) the smoke billowed up and around and over to the waiting line. So cool! So fun! GROWINGPLACE = There were only twelve flavors available at this new place but during an afternoon visit the line was almost to the door. The craziest flavor was the Maiz Con Queso(yes! Corn and Cheese) – you can see the flecks of cheese throughout! But it didn’t taste like I was eating a Tomato-less Salsa at all. Try it! Almost like frozen condensed milk. The line moved a bit slow and every seat was taken up – however I expect this place to run much smoother I the next months.

Creams and Dreams was good, not great for me. The shop, in the same plaza as Super Target in Davie, is cute, modern, and super clean. We were greeted upon our arrival and there was one other party(that we knew) that had just ordered. It did not take long to study the flavor list as there were only nine flavors. I appreciated that some of the flavors are unusual i. e avocado, maiz con queso. However, I believe Creams and Dreams could benefit from a much larger array of flavors. I did taste the above more savory flavors, as well as cookies & cream, and orange honey. The server was polite, and generous when the boys and I were sampling. None of the flavors really knocked my socks off. However, in the mood for something refreshing, I finally decided on orange & honey. The boys both chose cookies & cream. The orange & honey did have a slight orange flavor and was not overly sweet(which I liked). I thought the cookies & cream was quite ordinary. Yes, I know this is liquid nitrogen ice cream made with fresh ingredients, but overall the taste wasn’t there for me. I have tried other liquid nitrogen ice cream places but so far I have not found one that I really love. Yes, I’ll take the artificial ingredients in a Kilwin’s cone or pint of Hagen Daz if the flavor and texture is on point! Also, although service was friendly, it was pretty slow. It takes a while to make that nitrogen ice cream. With only two groups of customers there and two servers, it took a while for all of us to get our ice cream. These were not complicated orders either, just small or medium cups. In conclusion, a place I would return to because it is my neighborhood, but I’m not running back.

Creams and dreams do come true! I finaaaally got to come here after seeing all my friends come here multiple times, post pictures, and write reviews on Unilocal, making me super jealous they went here with out me(working weekends suck lol). They offer free samples of all the ice cream(which are generous portions), they don’t have a lot of flavors to choose from, but the ones they do have are very unique compared to other ice cream nitrogen places. What I love about this place is how fresh the ingredients are and how creamy the ice cream is. I was able to sample: — Fresh Avocado — Orange and honey — Matcha green tea — Maiz con queso — Cookies n’ cream I was stuck between the fresh avocado and cookies n’ cream, but ended up choosing the fresh avocado because, rationalizing it, what other ice cream store serves fresh avocado?! And this stuff is legit, there were real chunks of avocado in my ice cream. But next time I come back I definitely want a cup of the cookies n’ cream, the texture isn’t as smooth as the fresh avocado, but the taste is amazing. After having their ice cream, I can now go home and dream about the next time I’ll have creams and dreams.

Definitely a fan of nitrogen ice cream! There’s something about adding the nitrogen that makes everything so much better. The ice cream is creamy and doesn’t melt super quick. This place is relatively new and they’re still working on expanding the flavors they offer. However, what they do have is pretty good. So far I’ve tried: 1. Mais con queso. This is a Filipino flavor of sweet cream, sweet corn, and cheese. Yes, you read right. It may sound a little weird but trust me, this hits your sweet and salty flavor notes and you’ll keep wanting more. 2. Avocado. They use real chunks of avocado when they make the ice cream in front of you. It’s creamy, and both sweet and savory. They don’t add too much sugar to this which is how I like my avocado shakes and stuff. I will say that this particular flavor is more filling so make sure you’ve got room for this one. 3. Orange honey. This has got to be my favorite flavor so far. It’s refreshing and just reminds me of a perfect summer night. The orange zest they add gives a nice textural change in every bite and it’s a party in the mouth. And one last tip: you can order more than one flavor if you get a medium or bigger size order. That means more flavors to try each time you visit!

After reading all of the hype on Unilocal I had been dying to try this place out. I finally got to do that today and usually, if its local, I won’t leave a review until I’ve made multiple stops to fully assess the restaurant/business. Given that this is a ice cream shop, I thought a it was okay to do a one-timer review. For me, there is something special about ice cream specialty shops. Kids flock to it and it just lightens everyone’s day. That said, multiple people came in and out of the shop and not one«Hello, welcome!» or «Thank you, come again!», smile, etc. :(Points down for that on my end. Customer Service really goes a long way. There was even a family of 4 who had all gotten their ice cream but the little girl was still waiting even after they had finished. I don’t know if it was an «off» day but that left much to be said. One of the girls would say, «Cookies n Cream!» and a bunch of us would look at each other like«is this yours or mine?» because they don’t really take names with the orders. It was a disarray. Secondly, and this one is on me(disclaimer), but with«cream» in the name, I had imagine the ice cream to be much, much creamier. The bf got the cookies n’ cream and I had the matcha. Both were pretty good but once again, lacking in creaminess and my bf mentioned that it «tasted» like cookies n’ cream but not the texture(actual crushed cookies maybe). Finally, I love that Miami is culturally expanding when it comes to food — especially Asian food!(KBBQs popping up, Yakitoris popping up, etc) I wished they had better explained what ‘Maiz Con Queso’ ice cream was or in fact that this is a Filipino favorite on the menu! I get it. For many, cream corn with cheddar cheese sounds outrageous and if I didn’t have so many Filipino friends, I too would probably have thought it strange. My boyfriend questioned it and I explained it to him and I heard many others, «Maiz con Queso?!?» while waiting for my ice cream. Regardless, its a local business so support it and check out a new Nitrogen Ice Cream shop if you are local to Davie/Cooper City! Let me know how your experience fared out! :)

Yay nitrogen ice cream right in my back yard! Creams and Dreams, I welcome you with open arms! I walked in and was greeted immediately by some excited employees and was offeres to try some flavors. Yes please! After trying almost all the flavors i can say that the snozberries taste like snozberries!(Willy Wonka reference fyi) the avocado tastes exactly like an avocado– mild and creamy. The chocolate like a dark chocolate bar and espresso like a frozen shot. So yummy! I ordered espresso and chocolate and both flavors are fantastic! Enjoyed every bite of it! Something different I noticed about nitrogen ice cream compared to regular ice cream is that its more solid and less creamy. For example, ice cream you can just press in your moith and its soft but nitrogen ice cream is the prefect cone ice cream– requires lots of licking! Which brings up my next point: I hope they offer cones soon!

THEYHAVECREAMYGREENTEAMATCHAICECREAM. Okay, now that I’ve yelled at you enough… I have loved matcha since as far back as I can remember: I love it in my tea. I love it in my Kit-Kat. I love it in my crème brûlée. I love it any way. (Hey, sign me up for a poetry slam!) And so I love it in my ice cream as well, but I have always had a single issue with most matcha ice creams in South Florida: They’re either not truly green tea/matcha ice cream(some kind of weird floral flavor that some people make) OR it’s just not matcha-y enough. Needless to say, I have been forever on my hunt for my holy grails of matcha ice creams. :) Creams and Dreams, you have snuck off with my heart after just a single bite. They’re not only a nitrogen ice cream location with friendly staff eager to let you sample any of their delicious flavors… they also have green tea ice cream. And it’s fabulous, at that. ;___; I’ve already gone twice in a 3 day span and am making plans to come back with 2 of my girlfriends. People, I live ONEHOURAWAY. I am so happy, though. lol! Let me spread that happiness by sharing my new favorite matcha ice cream location with you. :) And if you aren’t a fan of green tea, they also have a scrumptious Cookies & Cream, Vanilla Bean and Espresso.(I sampled those other 3 too, and my hubs had their Espresso and loved it. :)) For me, I will forever order the green tea though. Hehehe. :D SIDENOTE: They’re on the side by the All Pet Emporium, right next to Painting With a Twist! :)

This is an adorable family owned creamery. It is a small franchise based in California and this is the first on in Florida! They serve very unique flavors like fresh avocado and Maiz con queso but for the more traditional they also have double chocolate and cookies and cream. Don’t be scared! They are even happy to make samples to taste! Everyone here is super nice and welcoming. The ice cream is uniquely made with nitrogen and the ice cream surprising comes out pretty firm and not runny. It also doesn’t melt too fast which I love! I had the orange honey which is pleasantly light and yummy. I also tried the fresh avocado flavor which taste just like Vietnamese avocado smoothie! It was surprisingly delightful! All the ingredients taste fresh ! Overall this is refreshing addition to Davie and I’m excited to come back to get my ice cream fix!

I’ve been dying to hit this spot after finding it under Hot & New on Unilocal and yesterday my dream has finally come true. I will say this upfront, I will definitely come again and try every flavor at least once. #determined Greeted by friendly workers, they offered us to try a sample of their ice cream. Rarely have I seen this happen at a nitrogen ice cream place because they have to be made right there and then. But they have small batches of their flavors for sampling, so that’s convenient. Oh, and speaking of their flavors… It’s the first nitrogen ice cream vendor I’ve seen selling Green Tea, Orange Honey, Fresh Avocado, and Maiz con Queso. This is truly not your typical ice cream spot… so unique, it feels gourmet! Right into the tastings. My honey and I sampled the Maiz con Queso, which brought nostalgia to my Filipino childhood of memories eating Magnolia Ice Cream when my dad used to sell it at his old grocery store. Then we saw Fresh Avocado, a flavor new to me in the realm of ice cream. We got that in small cup with some honey drizzle to share. It was definitely out of this world! Super creamy with tiny chunks of avocado for texture. The amount of sweetness was perfect(it actually didn’t need that honey drizzle, but it was nice for pictures hehe). After I licked the spoon clean, I left satisfied and not feeling like I ate five pounds of sugar compared to some other dessert places. The freshness was on point! Now I seriously want to try all 9 flavors. But for now, Fresh Avocado is my favorite Oh, and another plus for this place: it’s next to Target. Definitely in love with this place!

Best ice cream ever! I love sweet things, and I’m a huge fan of ice cream. The best ice cream I’ve ever had is quite difficult to get So since Davisons is out of the question unless I’m in the Isle of Man, this place is hands down the best on this side of the pond! It’s a quaint little shop, super clean with a few tables inside. The ice cream is phenomenal. I tried avocado and it was so good, but I decided to get double chocolate and cookies and cream. Everything was so good! The texture was harder than usual ice cream but oh so good… The process is pretty cool to watch, and the lady working was friendly. We can’t wait to return and next time I’ll get a large because it’s that good! :)

Can be a little hard to find but it is located in the Super Target Plaza I came here with Kimberly D for their free ice cream promotion. Although they were insanely busy the staff were really friendly and fast. I loved that they used fresh ingredients like real avocados to make the avocado ice cream. My favorite flavor is probably going to sound gross to most people but it is the mais con queso, which is a fairly popular flavor combination in the Philippines. I could taste the bits of corn! Their prices are very decent and portion sizes are fair compared to other liquid nitrogen ice cream places in south Florida. It is a little far from me but I will definitely be returning.

Located next to Painting with a Twist and a huge Super Target, this quaint little ice cream parlor is a great new find! Creams and Dreams is a liquid nitrogen ice cream place, which means they make their unique flavors by churning the cream in a mixer while adding liquid nitrogen in to freeze it. fresh and made to order. Not to mention it looks like a cool science fair experiment! Oohs and ahhs aside, it tastes great! The girls who were working that night were super sweet and answered all our questions. They dealt with us taking pictures and ogling all the flavors. We were able to try each flavor before we ordered. Some of the flavors that didn’t sound very good were actually quite delicious, like the Maiz con queso surprised me as well as the avocado. They are very creamy. The Matcha Green Tea flavor was authentic and tasted like the powder. If you like green tea lattes and sweetened green tea, you might not like it but if you like the pure taste of matcha, its amazing! The cookies and cream wasn’t super sweet either which I loved. Even the vanilla bean is better than store bought containers. I ended up ordering a small cup splitting the flavors between Orange Honey and Avocado. The orange honey flavor was absolutely amazing. It is reminiscent of a orange creamsicle from my childhood. So pleasantly yummy. The avocado is mildly sweet and had actual chunks of avocado in it. With the milk base it is like drinking an avocado shake with condensed milk. MUSTTRY!!!

New, locally-owned liquid nitrogen ice cream shop located in the Target plaza. I stopped in during their soft opening and got to try a few of their flavors. To order, you choose your ice cream flavor and the ice cream is churned to order and simultaneously frozen by pumping liquid nitrogen into the mixer. It’s a fun, gimmicky way to serve ice cream, but Creams & Dreams offers a more exotic range of ice cream flavors at more affordable prices, in comparison to other liquid nitrogen shops. I ordered the Espresso ice cream, and it was really tasty. The coffee flavor wasn’t over powering and the ice cream is served on the thicker side, which I prefer(sometimes liquid nitrogen ice cream isn’t chilled all the way and served runnier). I also tried the Matcha Green Tea flavor, which was very concentrated in flavor. I would like it more if they can tone down the bitterness of the green tea, but you can tell that they do not add artificial flavors to their ice cream. The flavor and ingredients you order is what you will get in your ice cream. Their menu ranges from classic ice cream flavors such as chocolate and cookies & cream, to more unique concoctions, like Orange Honey or Maiz con Queso(cream corn ice cream with cheddar cheese), which my friend enjoyed very much. Service was fast and courteous. The inside area is a bit small, so it can get crowded at times. But they are open late for when you get an after-dinner sweet tooth. I’ll definitely go back to support locally-owned business.
