Great food and great service! The price was very reasonable. We plan to come back.

Your experience with Tradewinds will vary greatly depending on where and how you eat there. Personally, I recommend skipping the restaurant which suffers from fairly poor service and instead order to the room. The kitchen is actually quite good. In fact, skip everything and go straight to pizza. The pizza at tradewinds is remarkable. It will have you wondering which major chain they steal it from because it really is excellent with fluffy and flavourful dough, generous toppings, and awesome stringy cheese. Possible their best offering. The kitchen is also quite accommodating. For example, they had a special on Bud Light buckets; 5 for $ 18. Not wanting to drink sewer water, I asked if I could substitute New Belgum Fat Tire into that bucket and they did for $ 2 extra. Nice!

2 stars because it was a fun place to hang and shoot pool with our soccer team that was staying on resort. No more stars because they post and advertise prices on the menu and flyers for specials in the bar… but then try to charge you more when you pay. Be sure to review your receipt before you authorize payment. Came across as shady. Hard to like a place that isn’t honest about their posted prices. Buyer beware!

The Parmesan Fries were tasty and my son’s Chicken fingers were fine. The service was not very good. Maybe it is just that I am used to the faster pace of NY but this seemed even more sub par than I have been dealing with here in Florida. I had nachos that had barely any toppings and the steak tacos which were uninspiring and over cooked. The bar area near the pool hasn’t been cleaned well in sometime. Dusty bottles of alcohol and sticky spots everywhere.

The only thing good here we’re the ribs and the service. I felt bad for the waitress that was obviously ashamed of having served this food. Dirty lettuce and rotten fruit cups for the kids. Really? Wake up Mr. Cook. It’s no wonder this place was empty!

We found out this place had karaōke, so we decided to try the food and participate in the singing. The menu is very small. My husband got a burger which tasted fairly good other than the bun. I had a jerk chicken sandwich; also fairly good. The sweet tea was SICKENINGLY sweet, so I don’t know what was going on there. The best part of the meal were the fries because those are hand-cut and fried right there. When I was done eating, I excused myself to go to the bathroom and was horrified by the condition. Two of the three toilets had unflushed feces. For this I have downgraded the place from four stars to two. I could understand if one toilet had been unflushed and the staff just hadn’t caught it yet, but when there were two, it made me wonder. I was thinking I wouldn’t have eaten here if I had visited the bathroom before my meal. The karaōke itself was good-we got there late and didn’t get to experience it for long, but the KJ seemed awesome-not like some of the KJs out there that think of it as their own personal singing show and throw other singers up from time to time. So to sum it up, food-3 stars, cleanliness-1 star, and karaōke-5 stars.

I used to work here doing karaōke. I actually made this Unilocal page but can’t delete it. Haven’t been there in months but if you get a chance to do a karaōke night go support KJ Eric. You’ll have a great time!
