Fireplace Guy

Just had a great experience with Stephen, the Fireplace Guy. We’ve got an older model gas freestanding stove from many years ago, no longer sold in the area. It’s our only source of heat, and we were really at a loss as to what to do when it quit working the other night. Enter a referral from a local wood stove place. It had been a rainy couple of days, and I figured if Stephen could even help me he would be very busy and I would have to wait a few days, but my call was answered by the second ring, and he said that he happened to be about 10 blocks from me. He came right over, and diagnosed and fixed the problem lickety-​split. He even gave the little unit an inspection and a sprucing up. On top of everything, he was a really nice guy, and charged a very reasonable price. Very happy to have found such a great person to help keep the ol’ unit going. Highly recommended.

Steve is a master. I have a gas insert fireplace that was popping on and off. Two other fireplace repair guys came out, charged me a fortune and didn’t fix it. I heard about Steve threw the grapevine. He was in the guts of my fireplace for maybe 3 minutes and figured out the problem. Five minutes later it was fixed. He was friendly, on time and even gave me a discount because he was only here for ten minutes. Let’s hear it for expertise and good customer service.
