Fancy Nails

Very sloppy and unprofessional. However, they are quick and cheap. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure and was out in less than an hour. I’m in my car, right after, and these are my nails. They are sloppy to say the least. She did not take off all of the red polish I had in when I went in. I have new polish all over my skin. They were unfriendly and I felt unwanted when I was in there. Disappointed. Will never Return, nor will anyone I know

Very mixed feelings… we had an appointment for nine people (so they should have been prepared… or informed us they couldnt do that many or that it would be several hours…) we actually ended up only having seven. We got there at six and didnt leave till 9:30, I personally sat in the chair for the pedicure waiting for like an hour… I had to try to figure out how to warm my water because I had waited so long the water had gotten cold. Overall there were a couple of nice people there — Henry was one of them he was very kind to my soon to be sister inlaw and pampered her and took notice that this was for her wedding and celebration and really was great and I am glad she got him… there were also not so patient employees… I saw one roll her eyes and be very short and rude to my soon to be sister in laws sister and others… so on top of the wait the service was not the best or even great. We all wanted to get a matching design on our toes we had the picture but just wanted different colors to be used to match the wedding colors… the designs all look a different and even on my own two toes they were not matching and I had a really hard time getting it to be fixed because I dont think she understood me but I also feel I shouldnt have had to explain or show you that the two dont match and that they should… it was a bit frustrating to say the least. I must say thought that they did do a great job on the acrylic nails they are not overly thick — they are the perfect thickness and they look great but even with that process I told her I had cut myself and yet she still ended up taking the file tool right over my cut and hit it about three more times after that… but at least they look good…
I dont think that I would go back but maybe if you are going alone and have time to possibly wait around and/​or maybe if you can get in with Henry then it would be worth it… or if you just get acrylics then you are set because I am happy with the nails… but not so much with the whole waiting and process and seeing how rude some of the employees were to other members of our party…

I just needed a classic manicure. Initially I thought they did a good job. the next day I noticed they hadn’t done a very good job on my cuticles. And I have three fingers wear it is now sore and red own by the cuticles. My cuticles were in tough shape when I went in. however I think they should have let my nails soak a little longer or something. They were all very nice and friendly.

I was searching for a nail salon at 9 am on a Saturday, and was pleasantly surprised to find this one open. I was greeted by Amy at the door, very kind and helpful. I was the first in the door with no appointment and they were able to work on me right away. A different woman did my pedicure, but she was equally nice and helpful. She did a fantastic job. She used a callus slicer type thing on my feet that I hadn’t had someone use on me before. It freaked me out at first, but left me with really soft feet. I think I probably needed those calluses for yoga or something, hopefully I don’t regret letting that happen!
They let me hang around in the massage chair for an extra long time so that I wouldn’t smear up my new polish inside my tennis shoes. Getting pedicures in the Iowa winter is pretty challenging — not easy to leave in flip-​flops.
Of note was the foot and calf massage, which the practitioner took her time through, and was so lovely!
The pedicure came to 23 plus tip. Great price and totally worth it. I would definitely return here when I’m back in Davenport.
