Just ok. If sideboard and chows weren’t packed, I would have gone there instead. The fact that there were lots of tables here should have told me something. I ordered food off the kids menu for my son and they brought it out last, which was annoying. The French toast came with a plastic tub of imitation syrup. A breakfast place should have real maple syrup. Breakfast for 2 was $ 35, and the food was less than average — I won’t come back.

The people here are super nice but the food is average. It’s like regular diner food, but at Danville prices. My croque madame was dry, with barely any bechamel. It was okay, not great. My daughter said her quiche was very good with an excellent crust. That was the highlight of breakfast. The worst thing was my son’s waffle came with little packet of high fructose corn syrup, not maple syrup. Really? The lack of maple syrup is enough to make me not come back to a breakfast place. The seating is really weird too. Most table seat just 2 people. But like I said, the people are super nice. I hope they make a few changes and do well.

This place needs a recent review. People working there, not sure if owners, were normal polite. I ordered French toast combo with hash browns and bacon. It came with scrambled eggs with bell peppers and mushrooms mixed in. I was too hungry to send it back and leave. The eggs were ok even though my personal bias against green bell peppers. The hashbrowns were chewy and awful. Previously frozen? The French toast was dry and taste taste it too came from the freezer. Bacon was very thin and fatty. Not sure if this is a reflection of all their food but it was enough for me to not return.

This is one of our favorite eateries. Very charming and the owners are very nice. They always make us feel welcome. The only downside are the limited opening hours, but if you are looking for a breakfast or lunch place, then this a good place to check out.

I love it. This is my «go to» breakfast place and I’ve become a regular. It’s spacious, airy, bright«happy» colors. The service is very personal. The owner is there. He gets to know you. He knows what you like. He is attentive and patient and I feel like the table is mine until I’m ready to leave, no rush. I can ask for the food to be one way or another, and I will be accommodated. The eggs are done exactly how I like eggs. I cannot imagine a nicer breakfast place.

One of the best shredded hash browns I’ve had and the fruit is fresh and sweet and doesn’t taste like those fruits sitting in packaging and preserves. Hot chocolate is decent/good and the service is always great! I’ve been here a couple times before and have to say that there waffles are probably the best in the area. Their lemon bread pastry with cracked icing is yummy, too. *I’ve only been here on weekday mornings and one kind of busy weekend.*

3 stars for the roast turkey — hard to find a sandwich shop that serves the real deal. 1 star for the portion. Unfortunately, there couldn’t have been more than 1 ounce on my entire sandwich. The serving was so small that I had to combine all of the turkey onto one half and it was still skimpy. The fruit side was basic and largely oranges. The bread was fresh; service was friendly. I haven’t eaten anything else at this establishment.

We made a last minute decision to grab a bite to eat here and were not disappointed, even got a toddler stamp of approval. Really appreciated the owner(I think?) stopping us before we left and offering my son a cookie on the house :) Makes us want to come back — and not just for free cookies!

Except names nothing else tastes french. Old bread, not delicious at all. Never come back.

The service was excellent, friendly and quick attentive waitresses. They were busy but some how managed to give us time to figure out our order and then they were quick to take our order. And they got it perfect. I came here with a big group. The food was par. It tasted like Costco ingredients, so we probably could have cooked this at home. Not what I expected from a restaurant classified as «French». I didn’t find anything French on the menu. They had Belgium waffles and an American cheese omelet and no French Toast. It was ok though, great location, easy parking, lots of seating, and beautiful restaurant. And when I think of French food, I think of French baked goods. But the baked pastries were just ok.

I’ve only been here twice but it’s enough to rate it a 5 in my books. Location is great in the middle of Danville and the service is always super friendly. This time I hd the eggs benedict which were great but best of all was actually the fruit cup. How many places do you order a fruit cup and just get a pile of melons? I hate melons so was delighted to see their fruit cup has strawberries, bananas, oranges, pineapple and maybe 2 melons. I’ll survive.

I ordered the Eggs Bene & my boyfriend the Croque Madame. Both came out fast. I thought both were good. I’m partial to hot food. I liked how his croque madame came out piping hot. I liked the hot coffee bar. Its self serve. Looking forward to coming here more often. I want to try their sandwiches.

I haven’t been here in years, I didn’t realize how much the food has changed. The eggs benedict sauce had no lemon in it and black olives were put on it… I have never seen that before, hashbrowns were like a frozen food texture. my daughter ordered the madame sandwich and the egg was not fully cooked. Really disappointed. Won’t go back. Also, a mom came in with her son, under 10, who needed to use restroom, Owner told her to leave, for customers only. Really? It was for her son.

Always have had good food and good service here. Also, it’s great to have a good breakfast joint in Danville.

We recently started going here for breakfasts and absolutely love it. Family owned and run and you can tell there is a lot of pride in the food and service. Quiet, a bit off the main drag in downtown Danville, and really not that expensive(especially for Danville!) Waffles are amazing, eggs are cooked to order, pastries are awesome. Excellent coffee — always a must in my book. Never rushed to finish fast, etc. The owner even asked if I wanted their wi-fi password! We are going to be regulars.

Visited this café as second choice for breakfast. My Quiche was not cooked well a little on the uncooked side, taste was okay. My husband had eggs benedict they we’re poached very well but the hollandaise sauce lacked that lemon flavor. The staff quite unusual instead of keeping busy they would stand behind the counter and stare at the customers. Don’t think we will be back.

Pascal is a sweet, simple, a-ok place to stop for a little lunch, snack or cup of tea/coffee. I really love the energy of the staff here, they are all happy and greet you with a smile. They were very quick on their feet and eager to please, so my hats off to such a dedicated team. Good for you. The restaurant has a nice simple menu with items that many people will find something they would enjoy. Though they don’t have organic food items, their ingredients do seem very fresh. I really appreciated the help yourself coffee bar which is based on an honor system and you deposit your cash into their money container. The coffee was good. This is a nice addition to the city of Danville and I think it’s just fine!

I just discovered this place. It’s a terrific spot to linger over a cup of coffee or to grab lunch. Everything is fresh, particularly the bread and baked goods. I really enjoyed my roasted pork sandwich and Italian soda, and I have my eye on the Eggs Benedict. They have a good amount of seating, both indoor and out, and the service is fast. I wasn’t crazy about their parking lot because the spaces are tight. Fortunately for them(and me!) there is a public lot across the street.
