En Vogue Salon and Day Spa

I had the best facial from Summer at Envogue Salon. She took time to explain everything she was doing also recommending the type of facial would be right for me. It was very relaxing and felt wonderful. I would highly recommend!

Found this place through Unilocal today and thought I’d give them a try for a haircut. Called and got an appointment same day with Amanda. She was really nice and did a great job! Will definitely be back!

En Vogue is an awesome place to visit.. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by the owner Kim for 25 plus years, and have watched this salon flourish from the day it opened. Everyone there is top notch in what they do!

I had my hair cut here once. I wasn’t thrilled with the cut that Lauren did, but I wasn’t so unhappy that I bothered to ask her to fix it. It grew out horrible and I found that my top layer was 3 inches longer than that underneath it. Maybe she had a bad day.
She was nice, but the other people in the salon didn’t seem very personable. They didn’t give me that friendly feeling that made me want to come back. Maybe it was me… who knows. My hair didn’t look great and that’s what’s most important.

I went to Jill for the first time and couldn’t be more pleased. She listened and took her time and made sure everything was the way I wanted before I left. The salon is so homey and everyone was so friendly. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! So happy to have found this «hidden gem».

I’ve been here twice now and each time ahs been a wonderful experience. The staff is all very friendly and the salon is adorable. I got a hair cut and highlights & lowlights put in by Lindsey. My hair came out absolutely beautiful! I didn’t have much of a direction when I went in. I just knew I wasn’t happy with my old stylist and was looking for a change. Lindsey took my vague request (pretty, natural blonde) and turned it into the best color I have ever had! The cut was just as good! Love this place.

Lauren fixed my «growing out» hair. It looked absolutely horrible when I walked in, and she turned it into a lovely bob. The back looks wonderful, and it’s a great cut to continue growing my locks. =) My little 4 year old also got her bangs trimmed and the back cut. I believe a Kristen did her hair, and she was great with her. We will be back! Great prices too.

Love this place, Jill is awesome! This spa is apparently a long-​standing institution in Danvers and I can see why.
I’ve been here twice already, first time I walked in at 6pm and was able to get a wash/​cut/​blow dry right away, and second time I called for a same day appointment and was able to get one no problem.
The salon is actually in a renovated old Victorian and is really clean and nicely appointed inside. The team is all super nice and they always offer to hang your coat and bring you coffee, tea, or water when you walk in. Jill listened to what I wanted and gave me one of the best blow dries I’ve had. If you’ve read my other salon reviews you know how much difficulty I’ve had over the years trying to find someone who actually knows how to blow dry hair straight but still give it body and she has been willing to spend the time to do it the RIGHT way. Another thing I like is that she is willing to cut and blow dry then dry cut to touch up the angle, add texture, and get the bangs to the right length. Only skilled professionals are willing to dry cut! This time I showed her pictures of what I did and didn’t want in terms of style and drying technique and she really got it and gave me an even better cut/​dry than the first time. Also, the price is SO reasonable – a wash/​cut/​blow dry of medium-​long hair for $ 37 is unheard of at actual salons!

Until recently, I was either doing my own hair or going to a beauty school because I was hesitant to spend money on my hair. After going to see Kim Burke, I was no longer hesitant. She fixed my hair and cut it PERFECTLY. I have never felt so confident about my hair style in a long time!
I LOVE that they ask if they can get me anything, it makes me feel special especially since I serve people all day long! For such high end service you really get what you pay for its worth every penny! Every time I go I feel like I am in a high end salon without the high end prices. Everyone that works there is so incredible, and I really love it. I look forward to going back every time.

After many moons of searching for the perfect hair stylist on the North Shore, I have found one at En Vogue in Danvers! Expect to be greeted with a friendly smile and an offer of coffee or tea while you wait. Each and every time I have visited En Vogue, I am consistently treated like royalty! Lindsay is amazing and REALLY and TRULY listens to her customers and offers suggestions when needed. She does wonderful highlights and cuts and is really sweet and easy to talk to. One time, the woman who had an appointment before me arrived late and, as a result, I had to wait for about a half an hour. I was actually pretty happy to sip my tea and read a magazine while I waited, but one of the friendly nail technicians offered me a complimentary manicure while I waited. How awesome is that?!? I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s so relaxing to visit En Vogue. The prices are ridiculously low for the quality services that you get! So happy to have these lovely ladies so close by!

I’ve been to a few salons in the area and not been satisfied. here they are very nice they listen to what you want and do. it the location is a beautiful victorian house and they have great prices for what they provide (when they told me to total I was very pleasantly surprised). I think I will be getting my haircut more often now.

If you have short hair then you know how important it is to have a quality stylist. I have been a loyal customer of Kim (owner) of En Vogue for over 20 years and would not consider going anywhere else to get my hair done. From the minute you walk in the door of En Vogue, you are welcomed warmly and treated as a guest.
I’ve had my hair washed, cut and styled, manicures, pedicures, eyebrow wax and facials and have always been so pleased with the results. Kim has filled En Vogue with the best stylists and professionals on the North Shore and it shows.
I’ve referred a number of family members and friends to En Vogue and every one of them have been super satisfied with the services received. If you want Newbury Street quality without the commute and cost, come to En Vogue.

I happened upon this place from a Wecome Wagon package that provided a coupon for a free cut and blowdry. I’ve since been back 3 times. My stylist is Holly and I love her. She is super friendly with a great sense of humor. I love how she cuts my hair. The place is very friendly and homey feeling and it’s easy to get appointments at the time that I need them. Highly recommended.

I won a «getaway package» at a fundraising auction I attended, which included a facial, mani and pedi, and hair wash and style. So I spent about 4 hours there! A real treat for me.
This spa is located in an old house — very homey and comfortable, but with all the amenities — and it has been remodeled to have a nice open floor plan. Lucia, my skin and nails gal, was quick to take charge of me. The facial room I was in was little and in the back — I can’t remember the name of the products they use, but their idea is to examine your skin and then mix a custom treatment for you there on the spot. She was quick and thorough, and I was very relaxed and glowing at the end. I was supplied with water continually after she remarked that my skin seemed dehydrated.
I sat in a big massage chair with the bubbly hot foot bath to start the pedicure — and got a nice foot and leg massage before moving on to the trim and polish. The manicure hand massage was great, and the remainder quick and professional.
I don’t think I’ve ever had my hair styled — i just get it cut once in awhile and walk out with it wet — so I didn’t know what to do when, Donna, Senior designer/​color specialist, asked me what I wanted. «duh, I dunno.. «.…so she said, «let’s do something completely different!»
I have really curly hair — it is down between my shoulder blades when wet, but curls up to about shoulder length. She straightened my hair with an iron and blow drier, so it was completely curl-​less — amazing. I frightened my family when I got home — they thought a stranger had walked into the house. But if i do say so myself, I looked good! It was great fun to try something totally unusual for me. It lasted 2 days before it started to curl up underneath and I had to wash and start over.
Anyway — a great time spent there, and friendly competent service. Next time I need something they offer — I’ll definitely go back.
