There’s nothin more tempting than hand dipped gelato bars! Every time I see this truck I cannot help but to stop by. They have a variety of creamy gelato flavors as well as fruity flavors. You can choose from different dips such as dark chocolate and milk chocolate and then a topping like pistachios and others nuts. My favorite creamy flavor has to be the Hazelnut half dipped in dark chocolate with pecans! If you’re in the mood for a fruity pop I like the raspberry with half dipped dark chocolate and white chocolate drizzle. I prefer half dips because I like tasting the pop more than the outer dip :)

Probably one of my favorite desserts ever. You cannot beat the Oreo gelato bar with white chocolate dip and coconut on top. I look forward to this food truck more than any other one when they are in Boca. They are AMAZING!

I had the opportunity to try HipPops when they catered an event at my job. This creative food truck has Popsicles that you can dip in a variety of flavors. In addition to the dipping sauce they give you the option of adding another topping such as Oreo’s, pistachios, etc. I enjoyed this innovated twist on the classic Popsicle. The staff was SUPER friendly as they helped me make a selection from their vast menu. If you ever see the HipPop food truck, make sure to pass by.

I tried their gelato pops at the Miami open and I was disappointed. The fruit pops taste like frozen juice instead of the real fruit. The chocolate dip was good but the almond toppings were to large(nothing crafty). They claim to be gelato — but they are far from it

Tried it for the first time today! Absolutely delicious; I got cappuccino ice cream dipped in semi-sweet chocolate with crushed Oreos on top. I loved every bite!

Had them for the first time at the weekly Tuesday night food truck meet at plantation heritage park. Plenty of variety to chose from, ranging from the usual vanilla to the more unique flavors like raspberry lychee. I got coconut gelato dipped in semisweet dark chocolate then coated with crushed pistachios — Amazing! Perfect dessert to end the night. Can’t wait to have it again!

This food truck frequents magic city casino’s food truck events. I live about 3 blocks away and am now addicted to their fantastically odd gelato pop combinations. My fav is — pistachio pop, dipped in semi-sweet chocolate, and coconut. Hubby’s favorite — Nutella pop dipped in white chocolate. My pup’s(Bruno)fav is the coconut pop. Today I couldn’t stop thinking about these pops and decided to buy 6 pops to go. I let them choose some new combinations for me & am happy I did. Also, they gave me the cutest cooler bag because I bought half a dozen. I love em’, yummy! If you get the luxury of seeing this truck, try the pops. You won’t be disappointed!

One of the best ice creams I’ve ever tried. This food truck came to one of our work events and my co-worker were all raving about it. Now I know why. Quality ingredients served at the perfect frozen temperature. I got the Belgian chocolate dipped in dark chocolate w/crushed hazelnuts and pretzels. Absolutely delicious and the ice cream held up pretty well in the hot weather. Watch out for this food truck when it comes to your hood. It’s a must!

I’ve had HipPOPs at both the event in Hollywood as well as the one in Plantation on a few occasions. It is seriously yummy. I love the fact they have so many flavors of both the sweet and creamy and the fruity flavors. I don’t know how well the tangy fruits would pair with the dipping, so I haven’t tried as many of those as I would like. That said, you have to try the coconut with the dark chocolate with your nut of choice as the topping(I chose pistachio and it was perfection). It was so rich and delicious and the three paired together perfectly.

This is my second time eating at this food truck when the Art Walk comes to Wynwood. Each time and each flavor is better than the next! That night I ended up eating two entrees at two different food trucks and still saved room for this treat. I had the coconut gelato bar with dark chocolate and almonds… so good! And the customer service is friendly as well. They give great recommendations of what combinations are best to please your palate!

I do really like the idea of making your own pop stick. The flavors are great as is the selection of pops. Outside of the customization of pops, it’s simply an ice cream shop so nothing dramatically different here. Pricing is great as well.

I get giddy like a kid in a candy shop whenever I see hip pops! No matter how long the line is… I will wait my turn. Excitement will be trying to see over people’s heads to see what they have for the day. The way the truck is designed– allows the customer to clearly see all the options! My classic go to is pistachio with milk chocolate dipped in pistachio. Everything is very fresh and tastes natural. Have not tried something I didn’t like. Was so happy when my company brought them to one of our events :)

Best Ice Cream you will ever have! I have NO idea why this is not a perfect 5 stars. I always make sure to save room for dessert when I go to Food Truck Mondays and Tuesdays in the Fort Lauderdale area because this is the best way to end the night with a nice HipPop! Must have! Must have! Must have!

So many good things to say about this company. Amazing selection of delicious treats. They are so friendly and helpful. Love family owned business. They are just amazing. The pops are fresh and have so many flavors. I have driven from Port Saint Lucie down to Broward to have a pop. The passion fruit in semi sweet chocolate and rainbow sprinkles makes all the bad things in my day just disappear. Definitely worth every penny! I Hip Pops

I was introduced to HipPOPs in their mini version(adorable) at a Unilocal event. Finally got to try the full sized version at a food truck rally and I’m officially hooked. Of course who wouldn’t be hooked on a delicious gelato popsicle that you can get dipped in chocolate and then rolled in all different kinds of topping goodness? My favorite is vanilla bean dipped in white chocolate and rolled in butterfinger bits. They also post their schedule on their website so you can cyber-stalk them and follow them around everyday. Not that I would ever do something like that.

I have been a loyal pop-lover for many moons. This is more than just a food truck people. Grand PopMaster Tony and his family are always a welcomed site at any food truck event. My all time favorite and go-to pop is the passion fruit flavor, naked(i.e. no toppings)! I always get the pops naked because they’re delicious just the way they are. The Nutella and mango flavors come in at a close second for me. If you ever see this truck at an event(or randomly in a parking lot) make sure to flag Tony down because these gelato and sorbet pops are to die for!

Love this novel idea for a food truck. Pick your own combo or one of thier premade popsicles. Pick a flavor either a Gelato, sorbet, or yogurt dip it some kind of chocolate and then some kind of nut, oreo, or coconut. Great idea, good execution, good service.

This food truck really is a gem. The quality that you get is bar none THEBEST. I ordered an ice cream on my way into the Art walk and on my way out because my first pop was so frickin good. Tonight I ordered: –Belgian chocolate dipped in dark chocolate and crushed pistachios… DAMN! what an amazing combination. I loved that it had plenty of pistachios. –Mexican chocolate chipotle dipped in white chocolate and pecans… Also real good. It’s chocolate, but you definitely feel the heat from the chipotle. It’s an odd combo… spicy ice cream. It works well though, I definitely recommend it! I also tried: –hazelnut dipped in white chocolate and shredded coconut –vanilla bean dipped in milk chocolate and oreos –coconut dipped in milk chocolate and almonds All awesome popsicles! The reason why they are so good is great quality ingredients and there is no skimping on ingredients which makes the value of each popsicle shoot through the roof. They don’t cheap out on ingredients and toppings, and that makes all the difference!

Is there anyone who doesn’t love HipPOPS… ok so maybe I wasn’t the biggest fan the first time I tried them, but turns out I just ordered the wrong combo(plain pear) and since then I’ve been in love. Steven’s go-to is the pistachio pop dipped in milk chocolate and then dipped in crushed pistachio. I must say he’s created a winner here cause I don’t even whine when he orders it over and over again and never tries something new. I figured it was better to avoid the fruit based bars and stick to the creamier flavors but I’ve since tried another fruity bar(it was purple so something berry?) and it was amazing! Although I’m swearing off sugar I may find it necessary to sneak in a HipPOP every now and then ;)

Pop, Lock(in your mouth) and DONT Drop these amazing treats on the floor!!! Absolutely love this italian style ice cream =gelato which is on a stick! They also have yogurt and sorbet but seriously stick to the gelato it’s that rich, creamy and decadent! They have many flavors such as chocolate, vanilla bean, mint, pistachio etc! So I got gianduia flavored, which is a mixture of chocolate and hazelnut. Amazing choice if I can say so myself! Second step: I went all out by getting my gelato dipped in milk chocolate! If you are treating yourself, I recommend you getting it dipped and lastly I got my gelato popped by adding the hazelnut chucks at the end which were caramelized!!! Yummmmm: it was one of the best desserts I have ever had. Hippops truck has their schedule on their website so you can locate where they will be in south FL for that particular day. One thing for sure, they are at the Arts Park in Hollywood, FL every Monday evening from 5:30 — 9:30PM. So go check them out.~
