Very much enjoyed our breakfast here. I had the tomato basil and mozzarella omelette with home fries. Quick and friendly service, too. Loved the 50s décor, modern inside.

Service is slow and food is cold but also the place just isn’t friendly at all and it doesn’t make any sense because it’s a nice place from the outside and enough space but always empty and I know why now because of the service which isn’t so friendly

Came here after a trip to the dmv. I really love the outside of the place, the red is gorgeous. The service here is ok. Our waitress was nice, however it took a really long time to get our check. They have a pretty good food selection. I had the black bean burger which I enjoyed. Good amount of fries on the side, though the ketchup bottle at our table was empty. All in all ok time. I would probably come back if I was in the area. Not much around there.

Literally the worst service I’ve ever had. The waitress was very rude. She completely forgot about our drinks and didn’t bring them until we had to ask for them after the food had already Come. I ordered my meal with cole slaw and waited about 20 mins after calling her over to remind her, and when it came the mayo tasted like it was bad. None of the four meals at the table were correct because she did not bother to write anything down. She was extremely inattentive, she only came to the table 3 times the whole time we were there.

The service was pretty good for the most part my only Complaint was that It was a little slow on getting our food that probably was Because it was a Holiday and It was very Busy a lot of People out to eat and such so im not gonna hold it against them to much for a Appetizer Try the Mozzarella Sticks really good for the main course they have a lot of good choices Burgers Steak sandwich Chicken wraps BLT Tuna Melt Quesadillas they also have Breakfast to so if your not in the mood for lunch food you can get Breakfast all day pretty much If your not a Meat eater they also have Seafood so there is something for everybody there open 24 hours 3 days a week to so 3 days a week you can go anytime you would like

Great diner. Has proper bagels and some of the best corned beef hash I’ve ever had. The bar seats are super comfortable!

Place was nice and clean looks like its newly remodeled pretty good atmosphere — waiter was working very hard to try to keep up with everyone you can always crowded on the Sunday morning breakfast. I ordered the lumberjack breakfast. Had the breakfast burrito apple cinnamon caramel french toast and strawberries and cream french toast

Late night dining after a long day of competition, 9 very hungry people. Disappointed to say the least. Wait staff very friendly but scarce. Kitchen messed up meat temperatures so we swapped food amongst ourselves. .strangely enough the owner saw that the kitchen had made the error but Said absolutely nothing to us to resolve issue or to have kitchen recook food. Never again… I wasted diet calories on a horrible meal.

I am not a Diner Expert. My goal in a diner is to be comfortable, eat tasty food, and be treated politely. This place nailed all three. My two friends and I had breakfast skillets, and they were great. Just go, and enjoy yourself.

It’s a diner, it’s not the best diner, it’s not the worst diner. The food is good, the service all depends on who you get as a server. In general you get your monies worth.

This is not necessarily about the food itself, the food is fine — not great, definitely not consistent. It was great in a pinch, but I’m done now. We had been going here for a few years, but this is now the second time I have caught them charging our card for an amount higher than the receipt we signed. Seriously? We live within walking distance and often we’ll take the short walk to pick up some breakfast and coffee. I think I’ll go back to cooking and brewing our own early AM meals, not worth the disrespect.

Three Brothers– A quality diner full of quality people. Danbury, Connecticut some love it, some hate it, but there’s no disregarding the fact that it is home to one of the coolest diners around. I simply love this diner; its food, layout, staff, and more. The food is great. One of the reasons this restaurant doesn’t get a 5-Stars is because I’m a stickler she it come to perfects:)… And because it’s menu doesn’t set it apart from others, but it makes what it has to perfection. I enjoy the Lumberjack but one of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen are their red velvet pancakes simply amazing. Love their staff and design of the restaurant! Go with your family, friends, or alone!

We moved to Danbury in 1988, in the same neighborhood as Three Brothers, and have been going there ever since. It WAS a great place. But since the renovation began a couple of years ago, we’ve noticed a decline in service and food quality. We keep giving them«one last chance», and today was the last«one last chance». The stuffed cabbage lunch special didn’t taste good, and the Supreme Fries arrived as a solid fused mass of fries, cheese and gravy(it had obviously been microwaved too long– who microwaves french fries?). When we demonstrated to the waitress that a fork could not penetrate the dish, she offered a new one, but by then we had finished our meals. She apologized and said she would tell the chef– no offer to take it off the bill. So after 27 years, and bringing our children there from high-chair to adulthood, today was our last visit to Three Brothers. It’s like losing an old friend. The new building is nice, but it’s still all about the food and service.

Road trip with the hubby to clear our heads and we ended up here for breakfast. Their menu is not your typical diner menu, it’s more ‘sophisticated’. They had a huge variety of items that could be added to an omelette, while offering a diverse selection for breakfast. I enjoyed a tomato, basil, mozzarella omelette, while DH had eggs Benedict. Overall a delicious meal.

We went there after having been only two hours before at the cheese cake factory in the Danbury Fair shopping mall. So we weren’t able to eat up our sandwiches. It tasted good. The staff is very friendly and professional. Unfortunately the place is too new, so it hasn’t got the atmosphere of a typical diner restaurant. The prices are acceptable.

This place is perfect and nothing needs to be changed. First you notice the sparkling new 50’s style renovation with modern touches tastefully places like sleek chrome and transit style glass tile. All of the seating areas are wide open and comfortable. The non stop 50’s 60’s music is at the perfect level. Greeted by the owner he was pleasant and you sense a true dedication to his establishment. Not only was I seated but given a complimentary newspaper(nice touch). My server immediately brought me a coffee and glass of ice water. The menu is as cool as the décor, kind of Art Deco looking. The selections are fairly normal diner fare. I’m here for breakfast and I ordered the Danbury Skillet with a side of corned beef hash. The dish came out at the right pace conducive with being freshly prepared. Enough to feed 2 or even 4 I made my way through what I wanted and had constant and diligent coffee refills from my stall worth waitress. This place is a gem and the Unilocal reviews do not reflect how great this place really is. All this food just under $ 18 bucks. Wow that’s huge.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Their food is amazing, especially their home-fries! The service is great and their newly renovated atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this diner.

I ate out with a few friends at this diner this past Sunday and had a horrible experience. The waitress didn’t seem to comprehend anything that we were saying to her(possible language barrier) and when she did all we got served was an attitude. I asked her for a bottle of water and she told me «no” — I was there a week prior and bought a bottle of water from here. I had to walk across the street to get my water. When she put down our drinks the apple juice was bubbly and that’s not what my friend expected– she expected normal juice. So she asked to send her untouched apple juice back. The waitress said«no you drink». She replied that she didn’t want it again. The waitress laughed and said«so you pay». My friend politely said okay but I don’t want it, I’ll pay for it if you take it back. The waitress then said«no maybe someone else at the table wants it». Clearly no one wanted it. She was giving us a ridiculous attitude for no reason. Then when we went to order food my friend asked for a burger with jalepenos on it. She replied with«on the side?». He said«no on it please». She replies«no, on the side.“There really wasn’t any arguing with her. When she brought out the food a pickle fell off of my friends plate. Our waitress picked it up with her bare hands and put it back on his plate. Aside from the horrible customer service the food was below average. The nachos we started with were the round nacho chips that are super processed and bad tasting(along with the salsa). My grilled cheese was cold when it got to me. All of this added up to the worst customer service my friends and I have EVER experienced at a restaurant.

First off love the décor and atmosphere. Very cozy throwback to 50’s style diner. Met at door by waitress and quickly sat in booth. Our very pleasant server then took our drink order and told us the specials. She was prompt sweet and immediately made us feel like family. After taking out order and filling our coffee(we can kick it back quickly) she brought our delicious breakfast out. My son(7yo) had chocolate chip Pancakes(short stack) and sausage. My wife had the egg and cheese omelette w home fries and toast and i had the Lumberjack w a side of toast. Everything was fresh perfect and cooked to order. Cannot say enough nice things about the sweetness of our server ! Would recommend this to anyone in the area. I’m definitely coming back!
