Super good food! I love the California burrito, really nice staff too. Their Baja sauce is a great addition to any burrito and their taco Tuesday is always a great deal and fun to go to with friends and family

One of my favorite spots to grab a quick, delicious bite to eat! I have only ever eaten their beer battered fish taco but that is all I need and all I ever order! The fish is always fried to order and the toppings are super fresh. If you get the fish taco you have to get it Baja style which is fresh lime juice, cheese, pico, cabbage, and baja sauce. I usually add cilantro, hot salsa, and guacamole to mine which makes it even better! Everything about this taco just goes so well together that it’s hard to find another that’s as good as this one for the price and convenience. They have a bunch of other stuff on their menu but I’ve never really wanted to try anything else because I love the fish taco but people are always ordering burritos and bowls. Delicious every time. If you’re thinking about going, just go.

Super dirty. Food toppings all over the serving area. Food wasn’t that great.

Had the carnitas tacos(two) and the kiddo had the quesodilla – both were as good as it gets. Beyond maybe the fact the carnitas were a touch drippy, everything else was perfect. Parking was easy and i ate outside at a decent enough table – although the breakfeast spot next door looked good too now.

Not happy with the new smaller size of the tostada! Same price for about 40% less food. The rice was crunchy, and I was still hungry when it was gone. What’s going on? New ownership?

Last few times I’ve been in the service has been really excellent! They remodeled recently and it looks great. I always get the veggie burrito with everything it never fails and their salsa’s are decent as well. My boyfriend said he really enjoyed their shrimp burrito the last time we were there.

The Chronic Fries with carne asada were so good the best carne asada fries I’ve had in a long time they put the chesse on top first and put them in a toaster so it melts and it’s amazing I’ve had the tacos which are good also. usually the staff is nice but the last time I went the guy helping us was so rude but I don’t even care I’ll keep coming back lol

Tried after a bad experience 2 years ago. Why did I go back. $ 8 for a bean and cheese burrito? Horrible service. 4 people and the new trainee was doing the work. The manager(I think) was just talking and acting cool with the other employees I nstead of helping her.

The food at Chronic Tacos is consistently good no matter the location. Good, amazing tacos. Although I cannot give this particular Chronic a 5 star rating because of its poor customer service. The people making our food were short with us, rude, and unfriendly. They lagged on our order SO badly too. My mom got her food much earlier than my fiancé and I got our food and it was all one order… not cool. This is not my first poor experience with this particular location either. We only come for the good food, not the good service.

Always delicious and the food is fresh!!! We love chronic tacos burritos and pretty much all of the items on the menu. This place stays pretty busy and it’s easy to love the food here. One of our favorite local Mexican food restaurants in Dana Point.

I like going to Chronic Taco when I’m on my walks. This is by far the best one I’ve been to. The staff was very friendly, and my breakfast burritos were delicious. I only wish there was a jumbo size burrito perhaps a 5 lb. challenge burrito.

Tasted pretty good and decent size but what happened to the Carne Asada that I ordered?! Barely any steak whatsoever… Nice people but I essentially paid $ 9 for a tortilla, rice, beans and some side fixings.

Nothing spectacular and they are very skimpy on the shrimpies. Grab a table when you arrive since they share space with ever popular Stacks.

Came here today while in Dana point expecting it to be amazing but it was the biggest disappointment. Not only was the food bad but the girl server today was so horrendously rude I have never experienced such attitude. If she can’t handle it then she should defiantly not be in the customer service field. She was really snarky and rolled her eyes when I asked to change my order that she hadn’t already started making. Maybe if she wasn’t busy canoodling with her fellow male workers then she would have had better service skills. I am appalled Anyways the tacos were whatever. Skimpy on the shrimp and only two types of whatever salsa Side note: the Thai place next door looked stellar

Average quick cali-mex joint. Had a burrito with steak, guac, refried beans, cheese, onions and cilantro. Pretty good. The girl who made my burrito was pretty rude and had a bad attitude. There was a nice male employee who rang me up and when I came back in for a refill he asked if I enjoyed everything. He was nice maybe he’s a manager. I wouldn’t HAVE to come back but I might stop by if I’m close by.

I came in an hour before they closed and they would not let us order shrimp or fish. Very disappointed with their service. And the employees just rushing to leave. Will not be going back to this location. And I hope whoever reads this does not either.

Free taco coupon from the Angel game — Yeah! Checked Unilocal and there is only one of the four locations close to us still open… first clue. They didn’t accept the free taco coupon, insisted it was a BOGO… that took 15 minutes. The people working there were nice, just not informed or able to make decisions. Also, slapping a kiddie spoon sized drop of guac doesn’t cut it for us… my kids were actually laughing as they did this. Won’t be back but I’m sure it will shut down like the others have. Stick to mom/pop places or even Baja Fresh before Chronic.

Taco Tuesday try every meat for about $ 5.00 not a bad deal, customer service is real and good. If your out going they’re out going as well. I’m surprised this place isn’t packed with customers it’s diner time and it’s a steady business for a dinner cheat meal. Honestly if your looking for some tasteful good quality food that doesn’t leave your pockets empty then Chronic Tacos is the taco shop for you. I got 4 tacos Chicken, steak, carnitas, and I think the red stuff is pork. Not sure don’t quote me on that. Overall the flavor doesn’t seem over done it’s just right. Plus the tacos aren’t big enough to leave you feeling like your going to pop if you eat 4. The size is perfect plus they are fully loaded, no hold back. I tried all my tacos topped with shredded cheese, cilantro, salsa and Ghost Pepper sauce, pretty much all around greatness. The patio is perfect also for a group setting if you wanted to bring a group of 10 people to chill and have a good time. The done has a TV good quality and they change the channel upon request. Mostly you see it playing sports.
