Newly arrived from the East Coast where my dental practitioners were the best! It took quite a bit of research to find a dentist who lived up to my expectations. Dr. Fingal is everything her other patients told me and more.
Her professional competence is matched with a kindness and concern that inspires trust and confidence. She selects a staff that matches her standards of excellence! What a relief to to become her patient!
Relocating and finding new health care providers is a bit of a challenge so I am happy to encourage other new residents to feel confident with Dr. Singal and her staff.

I have been going to Dr Fingal for over 10 years now. I started seeing her and her team when I was just a teenager. Now I am 24. I used to have a lot of cavities and other dental issues just from poor brushing and bad diet, but Dr. Fingal is very good and all my fillings have lasted with no pain or repair needed.
I chipped my front tooth pretty bad due to falling and hitting the side of my bed my front tooth was chipped and the nerve was exposed. I called Dr. Fingal in the morning and she made room for me the same day for a crown. She takes pride in her work and if you dont like something she will change it.
I didn’t like a small gap I had between my front teeth and she was able to correct it for me while she was repairing the crown on my front tooth (several years after the fall, the crown was holding up fine but she just replaced it for longevity purposes at my request).
This dentist office is not trying to sell you on anything and they make you feel welcomed they don’t tell you to get things you don’t need, they are honest and care about oral health above all else.
Also when I was getting my teeth cleaned the dental hygienist talks to you about whats going on with your teeth and ways to improve your dental health. She is in no way criticizing, but informing. She goes to continued dental seminars and has the latest medical knowledge on oral hygiene issues.
She knows a lot and I actually bought a new tooth brush and cut down on coffee and she noticed during my next cleaning.
Now I live in San Diego and still make the drive to Dana Point at least once a year to see Dr Fingal and get my checkup. I ideally want to go twice a year. They really care and everyone at the office remembers things about you even if you haven’t seen them in a year.
Dr. Fingal and her team have been keeping my mouth healthy for many years, and I doubt I will ever be able to find another dental team as good as they are.
They are fair priced and have always taken my insurance which has changed several times.

Dr Fingal & the entire staff are a first class caring Dental office and that coupled with being honest and pain free. Please don’t pay high prices for Dentists that have fancy equipment that YOU will be paying for. You will thank me for this review.

The staff here is the absolute BEST! I have been going to Dr. Fingal since my very first dentist visit as a child and regardless of where I have moved for college/​work etc, I still continue to make the drive to this office for any dental needs and cleanings. They hygenist is super sweet and the entire team is understanding and very accomodating. I would recommend this office to anyone who loves or hates going to the dentist because it is THAT comfortable! Parking is easy and the staff is WONDERFUL!

Dr. Fingal is seriously the best dentist I have ever been to. She is the sweetest and most gentle woman. My family and I have been going to her for over 20+ years but unfortunately our insurance has changed and are unable to see her anymore. I highly recommend Dr. Fingal if you have any fears of dentists. She knows I have a very low pain tolerance and is very patient with me. The hygienists are very nice and aren’t mean or rough when they clean. Dr. Fingal and her staff are simply amazing!
