I went to Dr. Vaughn to mearly get an EKG before surgery. I found him very considerate and knowlegable and I should know since I was a cardiac nurse. I would recommend him to anyone.

I also had a horrible experience with David Vaughan. In first visit, he got a call from ER and had to run there. He just did something on computer and asked me to do some tests. After that it was a BIG pain in scheduling those tests. and the front desk lady seemed racist n rude. I got my appointments canceled n rescheduled 2 times(in course I had continued chest pains). I finally had a test, doc said everything is fine go home. thats all. But i still have stupid pains.

I met with Doctor O Neil several times, who is at Vaughan’s office and I must say he was one of the best doctors I’ve had… and I have been to many! He made every effort to help me out with several medical concerns I had and went out of his way unexpectedly on certain occasions too. Very kind and easy to talk to as well. I would highly recommend him at least!

My husband had a first-time visit with Dr. David Vaughan at Feeney-Vaughan in Daly City recently. We do not plan to see this doctor again. He was very abrupt, didn’t even bother to introduce himself and acted like he couldn’t be bothered to talk to us. The whole appointment had to have been about five whole minutes — for a new patient exam! WTF? We were both really offended by his beside manner. He didn’t even introduce himself. He was just like, «So what are you here for?» Well, excuse us for taking up your time! We explained when we scheduled the appointment that my husband is a new patient, needs a general physical and we’d just like to establish a relationship with a primary care doctor. Obviously the front desk hadn’t communicated that to the doctor before he came in to meet with us! The guy had the warmth and personality of a block of ice. For a first time patient, he also didn’t ask a whole lot of questions that you think would be relevant to assess someone’s health! He was supposed to give my husband a physical, but barely did anything beyond check his blood pressure and order some blood tests — several of which we had to specifically ask for. He kept asking us what we wanted… um, we want you to do your job and be our doctor! I personally like a doctor that asks relevant questions about diet, lifestyle, stress factors, etc., and he totally dropped the ball on that one. Ultimately, his lack of personality or caring attitude really turned both of us off. Beyond that, we’re not even sure how good of a doctor he is because he didn’t ask some fairly important, standard questions you would ask a new patient. We will continue to search for a better doctor. This guy just didn’t give us a sense of confidence that we would be in good hands.
