If I could leave this place negative stars I will. I went in today for a haircut, she rushed through the entire haircut and she left a patch of hair on the back that was longer than my entire hair. Do not come here unless you want to be laughed at your haircut. Honestly wonder how do such unskilled people get their cosmetology license. Wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t. Save yourself the 20 dollars and go elsewhere.

Tonight my son went to get a haircut and came out looking like he just enlisted in the army. He didn’t get what he asked for and He kept trying to tell her what he wanted but she obviously didn’t understand and just cut the whole thing short with no shape. Sincerely Disappointed!

I’ve been going here for a couple of years, but after my last experience, I am DONE. I’m a pretty low-maintenance lady — I mean a 30+ year old woman happy with getting haircuts at Supercuts while, my girlfriends get $ 70 hair cuts — I’d say that’s pretty low maintenance. I’m usually fine with a simple trim and I’m a happy camper. The last time I came here was a few days after my wedding. I was growing my hair for a year and after the wedding, I wanted to cut it short and dye it red and just go all out for a new look before my honeymoon. The stylist had me fill out a form about my allergies, but she never once looked at it, she just left it on the table. But it was ok cause I’ve dyed my hair all sorts of colors since middle school and never have I had a reaction. She proceeded to wash and dye my hair and she was really rough with me, but I ignored it. The color turned out nice, I was happy, but then she was all of a sudden done. She didn’t wipe away the excess dye that was clearly on my forehead and around my neck until I asked her to an she roughly tried to scrub it off. Then she trimmed and lightly dried my hair. I asked her to dry it all the way and she argued with me that it’ll cost more. I wasn’t asking for a blow out, I was just asking for a dry head so I don’t get sick walking outside with wet hair. Finally, some lady told her to just dry my hair and so she did and kept commenting that she was going out of her way to dry my hair. I left pretty content besides the dye still on my forehead and neck and ears, but I figure I can scrub it away. I thought everything was fine until the next day, I woke out with my neck, ears, and head all red and bumpy and feeling like it was on fire! I had to make an emergency appt with the Dr and they gave me several options to relieve my pain, but it didn’t help 100%. I went on my honeymoon stuck on a 20 flight to Santorini with my head on fire. I wish I had taken pictures, it was horrific. About 1 week into my trip it started to get better. However, it’s been 3 months since I went to Supercuts and my hair still feels like cardboard! I don’t know what the hell was in their dye, but it ruined my hair. I’m happy to let people touch it to see how it feels. In fact, my friend, not knowing my ordeal, ran her hand through my hair the other month and said«damn, you used a lot of hair spray today!» I told her I never use hair spray and she gave me this funny look and said«then why does your hair feel like that?!» Exactly. Writing this review and reliving the experience makes me cringe… I wish I had taken pictures and I would have written to the owner to get my money back, I think I paid $ 90 total. But it’s too late since I don’t have pictures, but I do have the Doctor’s appt and prescription proving this happened. I really should get a refund for this… It’s taken me 3 months but I decided I need to try and go back to a salon to fix this madness. I did a ton of research and finally settled on Adollup Salon. I’m a bit traumatized and nervous to let anyone touch my hair, but the damage has to be undone. I’m never stepping foot into this salon again.

They refused service because I arrived at 5:44PM and they close at 6:00PM. I’ve never had a haircut that takes more than 10 minutes, ever. But even if it did?

I work right around the corner so I go here often. We are new to the San Francisco area so I wanted to try a familiar name. I have twice gotten really good hair cuts, and twice I felt like the girl that cut it didn’t even listen to what I said. I felt like she just cut it the way she wanted to. Or perhaps they have some old notes from a haircut I got years ago and they have decided just not to deviate from that. I’m sad to say that I keep coming back just because they are so darned convenient and even a bad haircut on my simple do isn’t that bad. Call me a creature of habit.

It was just OK. My husband got his hair cut here because he is a serial hair donator. He loves to grow his his really long and then donate it to Locks of Love and other organizations. We decided to go to Supercuts because it was close. We walked in and there was only one other man inside getting his hair cut. And we still had to wait quite a few minutes to get helped. The woman cutting his hair was so nice and she did an OK job. Nothing worth oohing and ahhing over. The haircut was WAY too expensive too. It came out to $ 22 for a basic, nothing special haircut. Boo…

I had Jennifer cut my hair. I just moved here and honestly she did a great job. She took her time, made sure it was even, and overall was great. I would go back. I wouldn’t go here if I needed anything fancy done, and by fancy I mean like anything other than a very simple cut.

Update: I ended up shaving off everything. Words cannot describe just how upset I am with this woman. Every single part of my haircut was uneven. Even the sideburns! How the hell do you get that wrong! This is by far the worst haircut I have ever gotten! Supercuts as a whole, has lost a customer for life thanks to Sharon. I’ll get my cuts elsewhere from now on, no matter the cost. Ugh!!! I’m still so pissed! Stay the hell away from this place!

Been here a few times. Don’t bother calling unless you only want to see if they’re open. I called to see the wait and they said there wasn’t a wait. I come in less than5min later and they are all busy with4 people ahead of me. With honesty like this, might as well go to one of the other salons around the center. Another time, I get here in the morning before they open and the person was 30 min late.

This location is in a very congested shopping center. The shop has a lot of chairs, but during the week — at least during the afterwork hours– they usually have only 2 – 3 people working. I have only had my haircut here on weekday evenings, but each time the employees have been attentive and given me exactly the cut I am looking for. I don’t have a tough haircut and I would expect any good stylist to be able to hit the mark… that this shop has been able to each time with different employees each time and with very little to no waiting each time means I will continue to return.

I come in here because i live close by and i work in the center. 1, these ladies know how to upsell u. Me, i dont fall into those trap. 2, These people are friendly. Too friendly. TOONOSY. I guess they have a lot of time in hand and to pass time by chit chat. Seriously, i used come a few to get my touchup and man, feel like i been interrogated. They asked where I’m from, why am i so dark for my race, to how many ex boyfriends i had. Seriously, talk about something else is fine but when u get personal. I rather u not do that because its none of ur business. I stop going there because they are too nosy and do things without telling me. They didn’t tell me the deep treatment was an extra charge and i saw the receipt when i paid for it. Supercuts= Super Annoying

If you care about your hair, DON’T GETYOURHAIRDONEBYJAMES! He was not only a terrible stylist but extremely rude. He knows nothing about hair, I have no idea how he got hired. You wont leave happy if you trust him with your hair. On the other hand, everyone else is very friendly and Mi did a great job with my hair cut!

I don’t even know why I came here. I live in the Westlake area and Im just trying to find a decent hair cut place around my house or at least in Daly City. Tried to come to Supercuts but it wasn’t that great. Now when it comes to hair, I’m pretty simple. I want something simple. I got what I want but it cost me $ 19 for a «Supercut» nothing super about it at all. Left a $ 2 tip. The lady I had(I don’t know her name) kept trying to upsell to me. Right when I sat down the first thing she asked was«Would you like to add on a shampoo wash» or whatever she said. She didn’t even ask how I wanted my hair cut. Then after the cut and i was about to pay she asked if I wanted to buy shampoo to take home. Probably won’t be coming back here again. Not that great. I never been to a Supercuts in my life. I thought it would be cheap.

Kerwin was great! I’m growing out a disastrously short haircut and he managed to trim just what was needed to make it look cute and stylish rather than awkward. He spent a lot of time talking to me before hand to figure out what I really wanted before he even started cutting, and once he was done he dried my hair to check that it looked right. On top of that he was really friendly and nice. Great value for the price!

I LOVE this salon. It’s always hard to find a hair salon that hits all the essentials; great service, good rates, clean environment and of course phenomenal results. Supercuts totally meets all of these — I can’t say enough that it’s amazing! My friends have gone to some of their other stylists and were happy with the results — they are consistently great all around, and only $ 20 bucks for a haircut!

This is a place that’s great for simple children haircuts! But for Men, Women, and Teens? NO! The people are very friendly, its a great place for your kid to get their first haircut! But otherwise not for ages 13 — 45 . (Just saying)
