For all cell phone buyers let’s me give you the low down on WHO to buy from and WHERE to go. FIRST, make sure you ask the person/associate«is this an actual T-Mobile/at&t/verizon CORPORATE store» if they stumble or say NO… walk out. Don’t even bother giving them a chance to talk. This is what you’d call an «authorized» or «indirect» dealer… they are fraudulent, money hungry scam artists. First, these associates pretty much have to scam you because the company by which they work for pay them such ridiculously low wages the ONLY way they can make money is by working the system. Second, they treat their employees like crap whereas at a corporate store you are seen as an entity. I hope T-Mobile AT&T and Verizon wizen up and get rid of ALL their authorized dealers save for the Best Buy ones, they actually CARE. I hope InTouch goes out of business for what they’ve done not only to ME what I’ve witnessed and heard they did to customers.

When you are innocently walking through Serramonte mall, on way to get some Panda Express and maybe some Vans, avoid this kiosk at all costs. The sales boys will try to lure you in with promises of lower monthly bills & free phones but these are all lies. What they’ll do is fraudulently open accounts in your name — then get paid by TMobile — then when you get a big fat bill — they’ll claim it’s all TMobile’s fault. Then, when you escalate the issue to their national customer service director — they’ll tell you it’s not his job to deal with customers because he’s too busy(and yep, they seriously told me that). But if you are looking for a new phone or change in serivce, run, do not walk, to the TMobile store in the mall and ask for Edward — he’ll prep your rebate so all you need to do is stick it in an envelope and stick a stamp on it. But avoid Intouch Wireless — always — everywhere!
