Cindy did an amazing job! I wanted to go a lighter color and she definitely exceeded my expectations. On top of that she is very sweet and super funny. She talks to you as if you’ve known each other for years. I’ve never been to a salon before by myself (being only 16), but the place is very cozy and comfortable. And I’m beating myself up for giving her an improper tip! Since I’ve never been to a salon alone, I didn’t know how much to give. But I will definitely be back because she did an excellent job! Thank you Cindy for making my hair look great, and I owe you a much more generous tip!

All I can say is …“Cindy”. She’s AWESOME! Did exactly what I asked for. I am OBSESSED with my new do. Thank you so much Cindy :)

I’ve been trying to go light for the past year, but since my usual hair lady was too booked to squeeze me in before Graduation, I stumbled upon Cindy and am so happy I did. I absolutely love my hair :)
Found Element Salon through Unilocal,and really liked Cindy’s work. Called the Salon and left my number. Cindy texted me back by the end of the day and asked for pics of my hair and images of the hair I wanted to achieve. She gave me a quote and booked me two weeks out! During the appointment, she was so sweet and made good conversation. It definitely made the 4 hours go by quick.

Cheryl has consistently taken great care of my hair for over 25 years. Yes, I have tried others but it was a waste of time. I will always count on her to keep me looking great.

Cindy gave my hair liiiiffeeee! She gave me a consultation beforehand to get an idea of what I wanted, and set a goal since my hair is black at the roots and I wanted to go blonde all over. Believe me, she is the best. I have been to two salons with my then virgin hair before I found my hair fairy. I don’t want you to miss out on her as she is a hidden gem!!! She uses Olapex at the salon so my hair went from drab to super fab by the end of the process. I left with beautiful dimension in my hair, and a blended perfect balayge ombré with highlights. She is a perfectionist, which truly shows in her work. Not to mention, she is an awesome human being, and I feel like I have a new fiend already. I am so happy that I found her, and I know you will be too.

Omg Omg! Aleen is just awesome! She totally knows what she is doing. She gave me the cut that I exactly wanted for so long! I even gave her a hug beside tips! She is gonna be my permanent hair dresser. I’m just loving my hair.

Cindy is great! She cut and did my balayage exactly how i wanted! I haven’t been able to find the right stylist for so long and I’m so glad I was referred to Elements Salon! Cindy knew what was best since I let my hair have a really long break (about 2 years) of not being dyed after a couple not the best hair color results. Definitely will be coming back and will refer Cindy & Elements Salon! :)

Aleen was an absolute gem. She was kind and attentive, very much about the job and making sure it was done well. She was very knowledgable on what she was doing and even gave me free samples of products to try out to make sure I take care of my Yuko treatment :) Definitely recommend her!

I cannot thank Cindy enough!!! After going months without getting a cut and color, I finally decided today was the day. I called Saturday morning on a whim to make an appointment, and within a few minutes received a call back for later in the afternoon. If you’re a totally worrier like me when it comes to your hair, rest easy, she’s got your back! She listened to what I wanted, gave me a beautiful subtle ombré, and a cut that matches my wavy hair perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Love Aleen, but I want to keep her a secret!

The best saloon I have been to in over 25 years! Aileen is great she listens to you, and gives you what you ask for very nice individual! I would not go anywhere but here even if I have to drive over 100 miles! Which I will have to soon! Thank you aileen! !

This is my 2^nd year having Aleen do my hairstyle. I do the Japanese straightening and by far, she’s the hairstylist that does your hair not just for the sake of doing it, but she definitely cares for you to have a healthy hair all throughout! She’s awesome and highly recommended!

I was looking for a salon last minute and was able to get an appointment with Cindy. I’ve never been here before but saw frat reviews. I was looking for a change in color and Cindy helped me out a lot. Basically all I knew was I wanted red, she helped me choose what shade and let me know that the color is high maintenance. I love the out come and she cute my hair exactly how I wanted too. I love it! Definitely will be back.

Aleen is a godsend! I’m a bit late in my review having gotten my digital perm about 2 years ago (following a sad breakup… but I digress). Anywho, my perm was AMAZING, it was the best 8 months of great-​looking hair of my life.
Re: the actual appointment, she was so personable and professional! I was running late (theme?) and didn’t get a chance to eat lunch, so she offered me oodles of snacks and coffee.

I’ve been going to SF to the same hair salon for over 15 years. Now I’m happy to say I found my new hairdresser and so close to where I live! Aleen was fantastic. I have long hair with layers and she gave me a great haircut. She asked me several questions about my hair and how I style it, and then she went for it! I could tell was confident when she was cutting my hair and that was very re-​assuring. No more driving to the city! Aleen is my new favorite hairdresser!

Aleen was absolutely the best, ask for her! Not a bad location, easy parking right out front.

Aleen is great! She’s the only person in the Bay Area I go to for my haircuts. She’s always very flexible with my schedule, which is great because I work in SoMa in SF, so it takes a while for me to get to her salon in Daly City after work. But it’s worth it.
Her prices are very affordable and I’m always happy with my hair when I walk out. She takes her time and never rushes through, even when she’s busy. She really loves what she does and it shows (the unfortunate part about her dedication is that she never takes vacations unless she’s going somewhere to take more classes or go to conventions for work :().
I definitely recommend her!

Aleen’s salon is by appointment only but she is flexible to your schedule my appointment was at 6:45pm even though they normally close at 7pm.
Aleen was super friendly! Her hair evaluation was very thorough and she explained to me how she would go about creating the style I sent her via email.
I was pretty open about chopping off a good chuck of my hair and trusted Aleen’s judgment. She did check with me every step of the way to see if the length was good though, which I thought was nice of her.
At the end of the cut I decided to buy some styling product that she used. She told me to save my money if I had something similar at home! I bought a bottle anyways and gave her a good tip since I thought she did a great job. She immediately told me I gave too much and ended up giving me another bottle of hair product. Who ever says that you tipped too much? How sweet is that? I thought that was very kind of her when she really didn’t have to.
Her cuts aren’t the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Aleen is very knowledgeable and it is very apparent that she’s very good at what she does. Will be coming back for sure!

I’m so glad I found Aleen on Unilocal.I used to work in the Financial district and would easily go to Joseph Cozza or Cowboys and Angels for my hair cuts/​color during my lunch hour.
Since I started working in Daly City I don’t have the time to schlepp all the way to Downtown so I decided to try Aleen at Elements. She was great! I just wanted a trim and a fuller cut overall and she absolutely delivered.
She takes her time with you and her prices are reasonable. I will definitely return soon for a color with Aleen. Highly recommend!
