I couldn’t be more pleased with Woody’s Grooming. My husband is a pretty frugal man and typically cuts his own hair. I was so happy that he finally got his hair professionally cut! Sometimes you need a professional and Scott, his barber, did a wonderful job for a more-than-fair price. My husband looks even more handsome! So next month when he starts to whip out his razor, I’ll send him straight back to Scott at Woody’s Grooming.

Went to this place for the first time, today. Great! I had been going to Brownie’s and Supercuts, and was tired of 10 – 15 minute haircuts, and after I’d get home, I’d always find uneven spots in the cut. My cut today was exactly how I wanted it, the stylist took his time, place is nice, price is reasonable. I’ll be back. Thanks!

Great Atmosphere, great hair products and professional service. An outstanding location for Highland Park and Downtown Dallas West. …The Artistry of Grooming…

There might be other good barbers here, but my first one had shaking hands and no idea what she was doing, and the second one who she asked to help her was rude, didn’t do a good job and didn’t bother checking. A very bad experience.

For the first time ever, I had some«manscaping. I’m middle aged, fuzzy, leaning towards hairy, and thought I’d get a professional job, instead of my usual, «do it yourself». I was a little apprehensive about finding a reputable, quality shop or salon, where I would feel at ease. Thank goodness I found Woody’s Grooming Lounge. My experance was wonderful. The staff was friendly & low key. The facility was clean. My stylist,(or groomer), was Mark, who did an outstanding job. He removed hair from where I didn’t want it, and left enough to look natural, in places, like arms & legs, where I wanted some fuzz. I love the results. I give the place a «thumbs up».

Woody’s is great place for a great man’s haircut. The space is clean, bright and relaxed. The staff is friendly and very courteous. I have been a few times and each visit I am promptly greeted. Appointments are taken but I go as a walk-in. Javier, the stylist I use, has excellent skills and a great eye for what cut looks best on me. He is professional and precise. They also offer other men grooming services like facials, waxing and manscaping. There is a private room for facials and such and it is a wonderful experience after a great haircut… not something I normally would do but having it available is a nice treat. And their price of under $ 30 for a haircut/wash is excellent for what you get in return. Woody’s is a welcome relief in a land of subpar corporate chain«chop shops»(you know the ones to which I refer!)

My new barbershop! Friendly, affordable and clean. Great staff and stylists. I really enjoy the old fashioned straight razor on my neck.

After the men’s salon that I was using suddenly closed without warning the quest for a new one started. I saw the products that they work with(Anthony Logistics, Paul Mitchell ‘Tea Tree’) and thought that it might be worth a try, since I use these same brands. The place is nice, small and simple, but it serves it purpose perfectly fine. Thankfully the haircut was simply perfect. Price was good. Only thing that could be improved upon is the hair-washing process, which is very spartan. A other places you get more of a pampering, a scalp massage or similar, which is one of the things that helps create loyalty at a men’s salon. Still, after a few places that really didn’t work out for me, this seems to be my new home.

Driving down on Lemmon Ave and need a haircut. Saw this place and got my hair cut there. Not impressed at all. Choppy job and over priced. The whole time getting my hair cut, the guy wouldn’t stop flirting with me. I didn’t even respond to whatever he was asking and saying to me. I was so uncomfortable and almost walk right out. I’m guessing this place is for gays only. Never going back.

I flew in to Dallas for the holidays and was REALLY not ready to see family and friends. Actually I was not ready for them to see me! Walked in: Greeting immediately Wait: Short to nonexistent Service: Perfect. Jason asked how I wanted it cut while combing. «Make me look better.» I replied He cut hair, washed away those annoying little hairs that fall everywhere for rest of the day, provided a hot towel for my face, shaved my neck, trimmed eyebrows & sideburns, chatted just a little and suggested other services. Very relaxing after a long travel day. Rate: Out the door for $ 28 plus tip. The rate was higher than I normally pay — The service and experience was worth every penny. I will reserve future haircuts for my trips to Dallas!

Second visit at Woody’s, first visit was very good but the visit today was outstanding! Jamie took a regular haircut to another level, listened and made some great suggestions, left feeling energized. Will be back and definitely ask for Jamie.

I took my male friend, all yeti looking, here for some serious manscaping. Without blinking they had him in a chair, scissors blazing, clippers buzzing, hacking through the not so hot mess that he was. He had a hot babe whip him into shape, trim his beard, eyebrows, shave his neck, basically return his appearance to the living and not the walking dead he resembled. They were very friendly, accomodating and professional. Good place with some artistic vision. I hope they do well. They have a $ 5 discount for first time customers which makes it reasonably priced for a real shop and not a Supercuts.
