Great experience at Weir’s thanks to Andrew and his team, including Westley on the delivery. My wife and I were looking for a «kid proof»(or at least«kid resistant») sectional for our play room. After looking around at ones costing $ 3K+ out-the-door for something basic, I was starting to lose my enthusiasm. That is, until we found Weir’s Outlet. OK, the place is not some incredibly fancy show room, but it offers a great selection of pieces would work in most homes. Wife was happy with the sectional. I was happy with the price. And we were both delighted with the overall experience. Thanks Weir’s… we’ll certainly be coming back to see you.

Great experience… good customer service and exceptional value Weir’s is the absolute best in terms of quality and value. They carry unique and classy items that will WOW and impress. Don’t come here expecting to negotiate, they don’t do that. The price is the price. Save yourself the frustration and know that you are getting good value where the product is priced. Our salesperson at the Weir’s Spring Valley location was Veronica. Veronica took the time to find us what we needed, something we didn’t get at the Plano location. Our salesperson in Plano was some guy in a bow tie, think his name was Gary. He told us we’d have to take the floor models of the items we needed. Something about that didn’t seem right. When we arrived at the Spring Valley location we met Veronica. We felt comfortable with her from the start as she was helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy. And as we worked with her, we found her to be capable and competent. She found us what we needed, all packaged and no floor models. The team in the fulfillment center was excellent as well. They are a bunch of good hard working guys. They ensured that our complicated, many piece order was complete and accurate. And, they helped to carefully pack our order in the truck for safe shipment. Don’t come here expecting outlet prices, as they are the same as the regular stores. This location is their warehouse and distribution center. There is a showroom and a second room in the back that must be what they refer to as their«outlet». All that aside, know that your experience is only as good as your salesperson… Thank you Veronica for being an exceptional salesperson and for making a difference in our experience.

My son bought two chairs and my wife bought one chair from Weirs. We rented a U-haul van and went on our lunch break to pick up the furniture. At Weir’s you are given a pager and asked to wait while they pull your order. My son’s items came relatively quickly. My wife had paid for her items at 11:45 am. At 12:15, thirty minutes later we are still waiting in the warehouse for the single chair she bought. The wait seemed even more ridiculous as there may have been one or two other customer pickups during the whole time we were waiting and six or seven warehouse guys mostly standing around. I flagged down one of the warehouse guys and he says the guys in the back have been alerted and we should have it soon. Fifteen minutes later I ask again. One of the warehouse guys(Lamatric?) was very helpful and apologetic and explained the item was in some other«back» warehouse and they were at the mercy of these guys. After one hour I went inside and finally was told they could not locate the chair in the warehouse but they have 40 of them coming in two months time — do we want one? I asked Lamatric how much off for the(scratched and worn) floor sample and he says he would have to ask his manager. Lamatric says the manager said they could do 25% off(gee thanks). We are going to wait on the chair and they say they will deliver it for free(we had to ask for that too — it wasn’t offered). I do not fault these young hard working warehouse guys. Where was the manager during this whole episode? What is Weir’s paying him/her to do? Did the salesman leave for lunch? I would have left after 20 minutes had my wife not been adamant about owning the chair. Weir’s customer service is atrocious. My wife may go back to Weirs. But her husband won’t.

My family and I are in the process of moving to Dallas, and Weir’s Outlet made the process a lot less stressful. We visited the outlet on a day that they had just received some great items and were able to snatch up a chair and two sofas for FAR less than I have seen items of similar quality elsewhere(e.g. an excellent sofa with nice leather for $ 1600). During a subsequent trip, I was less impressed by the stock, but YMMV. One of my big concerns was delivery($ 75), since I’m not yet in Dallas full-time. We were able to schedule a date far-out for delivery, and the movers confirmed and showed-up as promised. One of the pieces was too large to get up the stairs, and the two movers went above and beyond in figuring out a way to get it upstairs(they lifted it through an upstairs balcony). The delivery guys could not have been better. I was also very impressed with the customer service, both in-store and during the delivery process. Weir’s outlet location doesn’t offer the same type of selection that other locations and full-service furniture stores do, but it is certainly a must-visit place if you are interested in bargain hunting or need to furnish multiple rooms. There are some very high quality items for unbeatable prices.

We found the bed we were looking for at Weir’s outlet. Several associates asked if we needed help, and one offered advice about matching the bed with other furniture pieces(even if they didn’t have those in store, we got some good ideas). The purchase process was smooth and delivery was done on the scheduled day and time frame. The delivery team did the assembly in less than 15 mins., then their supervisor called to verify that we were satisfied with the delivery. This was the second time we purchased from Weir’s –we also bought a dining set from the Plano location some 3 years ago & we are very happy with that purchase as well.

Checked out Weir’s today for their semi annual sale. Looked like good quality furniture but customer service lacked such that we walked out on a purchase. Plenty of staff standing around and one member even approached my husband and I as we browsed. Unfortunately we stood around for at least 20 minutes after deciding on the bedroom set we wanted. Finally decided to leave without buying. :/

I didn’t purchase… only browsed with my cousin whose in the market to fill up her new place with furniture. Pricey. Mostly traditional styles. Big furniture(it can be deceiving because the spaces these pieces are in have high ceiling heights, etc, so be careful). A few unique pieces like a Murphy Bed concealed inside what looks like a massive armoire — very cool. Decent enough selection. Friendly sales staff. I did see a sofa that I absolutely loved. If I were in the market for a new sofa, I would have surely tried to buy it. It was huge — but so comfortable and deep and gorgeous. I loved, loved this L-shaped sofa! Give it a whirl.
