Please, please, please. There is no need to play the music so loud. It is supposed to be background noise, and NOT drown out my lunch conversation.

This place is exactly what the name implies: a local bar where the burgers are good.
This is a family friendly place, so get ready for little kids running around, especially loudly on the patio (a few parents seem to stop parenting after that second beer). But the bartenders are great, there’s a good beer selection, and I have never been let down by the burgers and fries (especially the truffle fries). Can also get burgers without buns that come with a side salad. So I can use more calories on beer. Perfect plan.

One of the best burger places in the Dallas area. The service here is quick, and they take have a variety of draft beers and beers on tap. If you enjoy lagers, there are plenty here. I had the Swiss mushroom burger– it is my personal favorite along with the truffle fries. The taste of the burger is moist and really juicy. (I got it cooked to medium). All I do is add ketchup into the burger, and it makes the burger even juicier. Maybe that is a personal preference. The truffle fries are good to eat by themselves to get the full flavor. (No ketchup needed, unless you like it).

Can’t beat $ 3 craft beers and patient bartenders who let you taste (as long as there is no line behind you).
Like: triple fries, craft beers on tap, burgers (not scared to do medium rare).
Don’t like: big TVs, loud music and kids running around (parents– mind your kids!!!)
Really don’t like all the IPAs on tap. It’s winter! Bring on porters, stouts, warmers and seasonals!
Staff kinda had lost their energy. Lost their personal touch. Kinda flat. They used to know us and we’re friendly but now I’m clearly, «just another customer.»

Two visits, two VERY different meals…
I was here on ¹⁰⁄₁₀ for lunch with a friend and then again on ¹⁰⁄₂₄ to celebrate a special occasion with my husband. My two experiences were worlds apart! On ¹⁰⁄₁₀ I enjoyed a wonderful burger (Bespoke burger: turkey burger with spinach, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, garlic aioli on the side) and some fresh, delicious fries (the combo — regular and sweet potato). One thing I noticed, half the basket was regular fries, the other half was sweet potato, you could have cut the basket down the middle. My friend had a chicken club and totally loved it. On top of that, I forgot my wallet and my husband had to drive it to me. They were very kind and patient, totally understanding. My experience was so great I told all my friends about it and went back on ¹⁰⁄₂₄ with my husband for a special lunch.
What a major disappointment. First of all, we wait almost 30 minutes for 2 burgers and 1 order of combo fries. Finally the food arrived and it was terrible. The fries were barely warm and it looked like they forgot we ordered a combo and thew a small handful of sweet potato fries on top of their regular fries (which were also wildly underseasoned). Then we looked at our burgers… they were not even close to what we ordered! They were missing toppings and had lots of extra stuff we didn’t want. I’m guessing they belonged to another table because I’m not sure how else to explain such a major miss. When my husband turned the fries and burgers in no one bothered to say, «sorry» they just said to wait and they would fix it. At this point we were so annoyed and upset we decided to ask for a refund and leave. We were still not issued an apology.
Right before we left we spoke with a manager who promptly apologized and also generously gave us a gift certificate so we could come back and give them another chance. I really hope we don’t have a repeat of our 2^nd visit. I appreciate the manager making things right but it seems like the staff should take the incentive to see they’ve ruined someone’s dining experience and get a manager proactively.

This place is very good and the service and patio are also above average. Definitely worth it if you’re nearby.

I love Village Burger Bar, and I really enjoy this location. Me and my family came here on a week night and they were very busy. But with only 3 men working and with people continuing to trickle in they handled it like champs. Our food came out quick and totally fresh. The patio here is awesome it’s so spacious with high top and low top picnic like tables. And it’s lit up at night which looks beautiful! I will definitely be back soon.

Better staff needed for managing high volume times. Each time I’ve tried calling to place an order, they forget about me and I have to hang up and try again. Good food though.

Burger was delicious (although def not cooked medium well, as requested). Fries are decent. Drink selection stupendous, given the size and location of this fine establishment. Prices are very good. We’ll be heading over here for our burger cravings instead of the nearby Liberty Burger mainly because it is more spacious (hello, patio!) so when the group of pre-​teens from the local private school came in it didn’t totally wreck our evening (what is up with parents these days letting their kids run around wherever they want?!). Service was great, too.

This place is the BOMB! The staff is amazing and they work really hard, every single time I go in. Adam and Mike are really cool guys, they always make my experience more than 5 stars and genuinely care about giving good customer service. The drinks, food and atmosphere are great. I love their frozen margaritas, I usually get mine with mango and strawberry! For starters, the spinach and artichoke dip and buffalo chicken strips are my go to. They have the best ranch I have ever had, they make it in the store! I love it with the sweet potato fries which are also some of the best I’ve ever had! For entrees, I usually get a turkey burger create your own with basically all of the toppings. The kale salad is amazing and all of their paninis are on point. The ice cream sandwich for dessert is the perfect ending. GREAT PATIO! Check this place out!

This place is off Inwood, and you can’t see it very well from the road, but it’s a nice, clean place. You wait in a line to order and sit down with your number. That evening was busy and the line extended out the door.
I had a Champagne and Cheddar Burger, it was very good. The Shoestring Fries were very good, cut very thin (shoestring thin) and cooked to mildly crispy, perfect.
My companion had Truffle Fries, which he said, lacked flavor.
So in summary: good food, nice place, but it’s bad when the line’s so long it extends out the door.

If you are looking to fully customize your burger. this is the spot for you! Burgers were juicy and cooked a perfect medium rare! The only downside was that my bun did not hold up to my toppings and sauce. For sides… do yourself a favor and order their fries, because you definitely cannot go wrong with either the sweet potato or the truffle fries!

I just went in today with my brother and his girlfriend and child, my sister and her husband, and our good friend Jordan. In total it was 7 of us. The ordering got pretty confusing because of us, not because of the staff lol. So I just want to congratulate the staff of Inwood Village Burger Bar. Kerry was outstanding and was the most superb customer service we all experienced in a very long time! He went above and beyond when our orders got confused. He gave us what was missing and refunding as well, even when one of us didn’t ask of it. And did everything with a smile. Thanks Kerry! You’re awesome and we will definitely be returning soon! If you’re not the manager, then you should be! The blue burger and combo basket fries is to die for, not kidding! Extremely fresh and cooked to perfection! Best sweet potatoes fries I’ve ever had!

Stopped before heading back to Houston. Needed a nice juicy burger & some awesome sweet potatoe fries. This is the place to go to. Love their buns (I don’t usually eat the buns on burgers!)
The mushrooms were not overwhelming & I really like the spinach on their mushroom cheese burger.
Just a great place relax & chill. Or hang with a group of friends. There is a nice mix of both non-​alcohol & alcohol beverages.

I was craving truffle fries soo bad and didn’t feel like spending so much going to Hopdoddy so I thought we’d go check this place out. Wow, this place was very good!!! I love how you can customize your burgers (5 guys style) and still have awesome gourmet toppings (like Hopdoddy has) except your burger will only cost about $ 6.50! And they also have truffle fries! yummmyy!!! I got the beef burger with garlic aoli, goat cheese, spinach, sauteed mushrooms, and bourbon caramelized onions. It was absolutely delicious! I would seriously compare it to Hopdoddy’s Magic Shroom burger, except I didn’t have to pay that much for it! The burger patty itself was nice and thick and had very good flavor already so the toppings only enhanced it. The truffle fries had a generous amount of truffle oil in them and parmesan cheese. They use the shoestring fries here and they cooked it just right, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside! I also got to try another beef burger with dill pickle, grilled jalapenos, sauteed mushrooms, bourbon caramelized onions, tomatoes, lettuce and swiss cheese. Oh my, for a fairly simple burger, this was really good! It was so juicy and satisfying! It came with the regular fries which were good too but of course not as good as the truffle ones!
Overall, I really enjoyed this place. It was very busy but the food came out at an okay time. I’ll definitely be back here next time I have a craving!

Hidden gem of burgers right off Inwood rd. We arrived at just the right time because soon after we placed orders the line was out the door. I wish they had more people taking order rather than just one guy which would’ve helped the crowd behind us. I love how you have multiple options and ways to customize them and especially their different sauce offerings.
You also have a variety of sides (e.g. onion rings, regular or sweet potato fries) and drinks to choose from the bar or shakes for liquid candy.
You can skinny the burger by having lettuce instead of buns or using turkey.
The only negative thing that I don’t like is the top part of the bun — it’s just a little more fluffed than I would like.
They have great seating inside and outside, and I especially like the heaters provided outside.

Seperately, all the ingredients on my bacon cheeseburger were good quality and the chef cooked the burger a perfect medium rare. So, if VBB bought quality ingredients and the cook nailed the doneness, why was the burger as a whole just so-​so? It took us a while to figure out and all indicators point to the bun: too sweet and not sturdy enough to withstand all the juices that played with its delicate structure. Some seasoning couldn’t hurt, either.
The draught rootbeer was excellent and a treat to reminisce over. The O-​rings were huge (see pic) and could be a meal in itself — crunchy and flavorful. The chipoltle ketchup on the table was a nice touch.
Service was good — order at the counter, take a number and your burger is brought to your table. The place was half-​full on a Saturday at lunchtime and it was noisy loud.
I’d give the burger a VBB a 7.1 out of ten and with some seasoning and a sturdier, grilled bun they might have something outstanding. Give it a try if you’re ever on Inwood.

Sunday afternoon, this place has a fantastic patio, and guess how many people are there?!! NONE! It’s very surprising to me why there weren’t any others (albeit 2 other people came in before we left), especially as this place has amazing food, a good beer selection (maybe 10 – 12 on tap) and a good number of TVs to follow any sport… I guess maybe our timing wasn’t optimal, and I do hope that this place does get filled up, as it deserves to be.
All that said, the burgers are delicious! I had the Blue Burger, which has juicy patty with bacon, blue cheese, guac (lots of it) and lettuce/​tomato. YUM, it was very juicy and exactly what i need a burger to be like. I also had a side of the truffle fries (for $ 2.50, why not?!) and they were great, not oily or excessively heavy like other places may present them, but light, flavorful and plentiful. The only down side of the meal was that the burger and its components were too juicy for the bun to hold out, and before the end of the meal it had fallen apart. Not that it affected me, i like my burgers (and my food in general) messy (for «dirty» eating as I used to call it in highschool).
Any way, this place is good! Whether to hang out and watch a game/​sports or hang out with friends, or to enjoy the delicious food and a good brew, this could be the place for you!

Don’t make the mistake I did and sit down and think you can order from the bar or table. Though they let me and that was really nice of them to do. But I think your suppose to order first at the line then sit down. Oooops!
The food was good and they have the best sweet potato fries. If I am ever in the area I want to try the burgers. I will be back :)

LOVE this place! Great burgers. Great service. Cold beer. Awesome patio. Convenient location. Ample parking. Super consistent on all of the above.
Oh, they also have plenty if TVs to watch the games! :)
