One of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Epic blends. Their barista Jason is a pro. Really pleasant renovated loft-style feel in the 1st level of a new church. Doesn’t feel like a church. I highly recommend!

I have been here twice now, and the second time is as great as the first. They have the best chai latte I have encountered in Dallas yet(I’m a new transplant). Their pastries are delectable as well. I appreciate their service and quiet work space. I’m a fan!

I’ve come here many times and I just think that the coffee is great. The staff is very friendly and the shop itself is ADORABLE! They are always quick with their service and although their options are limited, they put a lot of quality into the drinks and make it just how you like it! I haven’t had a problem with their drinks yet. They are consistent, quick, and make great blends. The only issue for me is the location, but once I get passed the Dart Stop, I’m free to enjoy some yummy coffee in a cute, quaint coffee shop known as URBANBLEND! My favorite item here is definitely the Iced Chai with a bit of extra milk! It is very smooth, tasty and perfectly sweet!

Adorable little coffee shop that is attached to a downtown church. They welcome anyone and serve up some seriously delicious coffee drinks. I had a dirty chai that came out quickly and piping hot, without too much foam or sugar. Exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that this café is a pain to get to re: parking. I came here for a lunch meetup and circled the block multiple times looking for this place. Still, it’s a fitting venue for a get-together meeting or seminar. I might look into this space for other small happenings in the near future.

I went in as I had around 15 minutes before my train came. I hadnt noticed this little coffee shop and let alone notice it was a church also. There was a lady sitting outside in their«patio» area so I decided to go check it out as I hadnt had my daily coffee and yes I am extremely loyal to starbucks but it never hurts to try new coffee! I love finding coffee shop gems, like this one! I went in kinda doubtful as I thought it would be over priced but it sure wasnt! I got a fresh french vanilla coffee and a nice piece of cinnamon cake(highly identical to the one at Starbucks) for under $ 4! The«barista» was great very friendly and greeted me with a smile! I love places that have that cozy welcoming vibe but modern atmosphere and this is what that was! Def will be getting my Coffee here when Im going to class and happy to have this place to look forward! I wish I could post the pic of the cake but I finished it.

This coffee«shop» is inside of a church. I really thought there’d be more to this place than a pop up coffee set-up inside of a church. One perk is that there seemed to be plenty of outlets, and they have free wifi(with purchase I’m sure). There were fresh-baked goods.

The staff are friendly, the place is clean and calm and relaxing. I love the décor. Brick walls, wood floors, modern industrial look.

Best soy vanilla latte I’ve ever had, and the atmosphere and people are amazing! Way better than Starbucks.

Love the smoothie during this time of year and urban blend makes them really good. I love the mango passion fruit one. It reminds me of a treat back in Vietnam.

Great coffee, and a really nice location. Plenty of seating, Wi-Fi, and a pretty quiet atmosphere on a weekday afternoon made this a really enjoyable stop. I had a latte which was great, and then came back on a hot day and tried the iced latte which was even better. Highly recommended.

Such potential here… but I couldn’t bring myself to rate this place high at all. The coffee is good. But let’s be real, most people, yea even you«Mr. Coffee Snob», are not super coffee aficionados. If you want a good cup of coffee and you’re near here Monday through Friday during business hours… then I would say here is as good as any. Now the reason for only two stars… the first is the hours… No weekend hours?! It’s attached to a church and it’s not opened Sunday’s? Am I missing something? Just doesn’t seem like a great business model. The actual hours…7am to 5 pm. I get it, downtown business tapers off outside of typical business hours… but this place is right on the train line… I know there would be customers outside of those hours… I am in the office by 6:45 am… no help for me. My first visit was disappointing. The website advertises pastries and I’ve seen at least one review mention a pastry. I saw none. I asked and the barista said, «no, we just do oatmeal.» As he pointed to the packaged oatmeal in a cup. Maybe I should have clarified… but I take that as they don’t carry pastries? Really? Um, ok. And don’t give me the excuse…“we concentrate on coffee”…even the finest specialty shops offer items to compliment their primary product… I mean even Chik-fil-a offers sausage breakfast burritos! During the hours this place is open there are far too many other choices… yes, very close to here. So, with that, if you are transferring trains during the day in the middle of the week and you need coffee, don’t avoid this place… but don’t expect to be impressed either.

This is a jewel. I have an early commute on the rail, and Urban Blend is perfectly positioned to deliver the dose of coffee or espresso that I need to get my morning started. Incredibly friendly service, great community, wonderful aspirations and an atmosphere that invites; Urban Blend is exactly the type of business that will bring the best out of Dallas. The baristas are well trained, and there are no worries when Jason is behind the machine. Typically I just order a dopio, and not a single one has come out over-extracted. They also offer the new lids with the big sniffer hole for their drip to go. If you are passionate about knowing your coffee, or just love a great place to hang out and get work done, I’d wholly recommend stopping by Urban Blend next time you are in the West End.

This is hands-down the best espresso and coffee in downtown Dallas. Not too bitter, not too sour, just right — every time. Jason really knows how to grind ‘em and pull ‘em!

Good coffee, very clean. Lots of space to sit. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Very happy with them for serving almond milk lattes! Also have agave. Bye-bye Starbucks; Found my new study hangout. Right off the dart rail at Austin street. It’s located next to Antioch church.

Spacious comfortable space with great coffee! Had the iced latte, cappuccino, and almond croissant. The iced latte was good, and the cappuccino was decent. The almond croissant was slightly too crispy, but still wasn’t bad. I loved the bright, open feel of the café. There are plenty of windows, and the brick walls and wood furniture make it feel old, cozy, and modern all at the same time. Plenty of big tables, so this is a great place to study or work. The owner was friendly, and service was great. PARKING: Since this place is in downtown, there is no parking lot for the shop. You will have to park in metered parking on the street. Coming from Elm, if you turn right onto N. Austin St. there are a few metered parking spaces there. Also the shop rents space from Antioch Church(but isn’t owned by it) so when you are looking for the place, head towards the sign for the church, and then you’ll be able to see the café when you get close.

This is a cute little place located right next to the West End Dart stop. The staff is always very friendly. They dont have much for selections compared to your typical starbucks but they have enough to appease most. There’s plenty of windows for you to sit and people watch all the passers by.

Urban blend is awesome. It’s a great location right off the West End DART station in a really cool brick building that gives off an old yet modern feel. Great place to study or get work done too. The pour over coffee is delicious. I highly recommend it. The espresso and smoothies are awesome too. If you’re a coffee enthusiastic you have to check this place out.

This place is perfect for those of us who work in the West End or ride the train. They have cereal cups, teas, and cool sodas along with delicious coffee. Their free wifi is also a plus. With plenty of tables to sit down and do some work this is a great place to stop by and hang out while you wait for the train.

I work in West End downtown and it’s very hard to find a decent coffee shop down here. Before I found this place I was walking all the way to the Fairmont hotel for the Starbucks there(one of the worst in Dallas) and this is not a fun walk to make in the middle of the summer. Not only is Urban Blend conveniently located, but the coffee is some of the best I’ve had in this area. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fitting for a quiet coffee shop. There are two things I’d wish they’d change though: 1. It’s very hard to find the shop even if I know the general area where it’s located. 2. There aren’t enough comfy chairs. Most seating is at tables with metal chairs. Stylish but not conducive for the quiet reading of a book.

LOVE Urban Blend! Located at the West End DART station, UB offers yummy coffees and teas with a limited menu and cozy space. Big comfy chairs and tall bar seating makes this quiet spot great for meetings or a few moments away from the office. I just adore this beautiful piece of Dallas.
