Here’s a fun fact… booked and paid for a bartender versatile server for my wedding and no one showed up. So my family had to buy ice, find crates, open bottle boxes, open glasses, and just leave an empty un arranged bar table area for the guests(all in church attire). This was the worst part of my wedding as I wanted my family to be treated. Thanks for nothing. Word of Caution: do not book and use Austin Occasions or Gig Salad. Unreliable, not helpful, and inconsiderate.

We used Trinity Event Staffing for our Austin wedding and I’m very happy we did! They were very responsive! I asked for a quote on their rates, arranged a contract VERY quickly(within 30 minutes), and then booked them and PAID them within the hour. It really was pretty simple and I didn’t have to worry about anything. They always confirmed and reconfirmed what options I wanted, especially since I was having the servers pick up the food and deliver it to the venue for me as well. They were very professional, serving the food and whatnot. They also took a lot of odd jobs around the wedding, bussing the tables, and were pretty much invisible(which is EXACTLY what you want at an event). Also, TES was very affordable! Their rates for 2 servers for 4 hours were LESSTHAN A DELIVERYFEE! Total win in my book.

I used Trinity for several events for my company in Dallas. For the most part they were fine. When I moved to Austin I of course went back to Trinity for my first event at my new company. The staff was fine, however, I’m still waiting on my final invoice from an event last month. My e-mails have just been completely ignored. Unfortunately, I had also booked them for my sister’s wedding reception a few weeks ago. First of all, it took several emails plus two phone calls to get the information our venue needed from Trinity; we almost lost the right to serve alcohol at this event due to their ineptness. Come day of, the service was horrific. The staff was argumentative, they complained about the drink selection(completely unproductive 30 minutes before an event), ignored directions, and hit on several of the young woman at the event. One of the women was so uncomfortable she refused to go back to the bar for the rest of the evening. One of the staff members yelled at me, then my Dad and then my 19 year old sister. Had we not been 10 minutes away from the guests of honor arriving I would have sent him home. I followed up the event with an email with my feedback. No response. A couple of weeks later I receive an invoice for the April event(still no invoice for the March event). The invoice was marked as past due and still no response to my feedback. I paid the invoice immediately and sent an e-mail asking for a response to my feedback. Another week goes by and still nothing. Considering I have carried my business from more than one company and have worked with them for years I’m honestly shocked they couldn’t drum up at least one sentence back to me in response. I will not be using them again as clearly they have completely given up on any sort of customer service.

We had a large and fairly complicated party on October 30th. Complicated because the drinks featured a «make it yourself martini bar». The bartender poured the gin/vodka and the guests added mixins to get a bunch of flavour experiences. Much fun, but lots of cleanup. The folks arrived on time. They were professionally dressed. Great attitude. Followed instructions to a T. Made suggestions to improve the experience, were unobtrusive — and had eveything cleaned up nicely before they left.
