Trees is the best! I’ve seen some of my favorite bands play here and it always sounds amazing!

Trees used to be fine. Now, and I’m not sure for how long, they will not serve tap water. If you want water, you’ve either got to order it with vodka, or pay $ 3 for a bottle. When I asked the server if this was a joke, he said«My manager will fire me if I’m caught serving tap.» While I’m sure the manager is exactly that kind of douche, shit rolls downhill, and this wouldn’t be happening if the owners weren’t a pair of capitalist pigs.

What a cool, fun venue! I came here on a Wednesday night to see Gin Wigmore(who is awesome by the way), and I loved the atmosphere. It was chill. There was room to move. Everyone was just happy to be there and were having a great time. A really fun way to spend a normal weekday night. :) Also, I was looking around at their upcoming shows, and there were some big names coming through. I’m intrigued to how pack or crazy those concerts would be. I feel like it would still be a blast though.

Best venue in Dallas hands down. Great service and the sound system is monstrous. Security, Stage and Sound crew are all professional and polite. Bartenders deliver great service, are punctual and serve stiff ones

A great venue to see up and coming artists. Bartenders are friendly, quick and pour stiffly. Drinks are surprisingly cheaper than I thought they would be, so bonus points all around. Saw some of my favorite shows here: Broods, Sarah Jaffe & Friends, Odesza(during Index Festival), Charles Bradley, Benjamin Booker, Death Grips, Charlie XCX just to name a few. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future!

This place is a joke. Watched my sister get physically attacked by a female security guard here last night because she was attempting to get to her husband who had just gotten off of stage. It was a disgusting display of power tripping disrespect. Shame on you trees for allowing that unprofessional behavior to happen. Fuck this joint!

Great venue besides the curtain that swung shut like it was going to chop your head off between each performance. 4⁄5

I love how close it was to the artist that was performing there and how nice they were to me when I waited in front of their doors for 10 hours to be first :)

Live sound was muddy. Parking situation around that area is terrible. No re entry policy. Bathrooms were trashed. Music between the bands was way way too loud. A ginger ale for me and bottle of water for my girl came out to 6 bucks. This venue sucks.

Was here on 10÷3÷2015 for Years & Years + I don’t understand why there was a line to get in when we were there relatively early(arrived around 8:30pm, when doors opened at 7:00pm and it wasn’t crowded inside) + There are tables and seats in the balcony area which I think some(if not all) can be reserved + Bathrooms on both top and bottom floor, yes! + Bartenders were attentive and quick + The sound was pretty good for a small venue +/-Parking was quite difficult because The Bomb Factory also had a big show going, so I had to resort to street parking, but everything in Deep Ellum is so close together that I won’t complain about walking a few blocks — If you have a ticket stub, you can get in and skip the line. If you printed a ticket you bought online, you have to wait in the regular line. I don’t understand why the latter applies, but it didn’t take long to get inside, so no real complaints

For tour package. Green room was headliner only so don’t know if there was showers. Corner stage extremely tall. Parking lot. We went to a nice pizza place right down the street. Merch gets squished in the back corner in front of the men’s bathroom.

Wow, what can I say about Trees? I’ve been coming here since I was a wee lad, and I have some great memories of this place. The drinks are strong, the bands are great, and the venue is «intimate.» The sound system is always spot on, and the staff are usually pretty cool, as long as you’re not acting a fool. You often get a chance to hang out with the bands after the show, and if you eat at one of the pizza joints nearby, you may spot some band members eating before the show. As it’s in Dallas though, the parking can be challenging, so get there early. All in all, it’s a great venue.

This is a great venue for checking out smaller bands. For larger bands, I feel that this place does get quite crowded and if you are not there early enough, it’s really hard to get a good seat and view. The drinks are cold and strong, and all in all, the sound is great in the building. I would like to try to get there early enough to a show one day in order to take advantage of the upper-level seating. I’ve always looked at it and thought it would be a great place to take in a show!

Trees is my favorite music venue in Dallas. People are down to party, the bartenders are quick, the bathrooms decent and you have the opportunity to scarf some food truck eats outside. Sometimes when they roll up the garage doors at Three Links across the street you can catch two shows for the price of one. I’ve been on the stage during the Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr DJ Set during Index and I was surprised to see how small a space it really is. You really gotta admire the bands for rocking their hearts out up there. The line-ups are always eclectic and the sound always pretty top notch. Deep Ellum is the seat of Dallas’ soul and Trees earns its place there.

A great Deep Ellum concert venue with a capacity to get your toes tapping without being mobbed by overcrowding. Luckily Trees is an intimate place, so rush the stage, get grooving to your favorite tunes, and have a blast. Only downside: dark streets with vagrant crazies walking around. They should offer a professional valet service. And throw up some more street lighting. Safety is my pet peeve for this developing area.

Tree’s is one of my favorite places to see a show/concert. If your favorite band is playing here, you must realize you’re going to have a great time. The fact is, I’ve never had VIP, because I didn’t need to. The sound system is incredible. The drinks are great and then there’s the large outdoor area, which is where you will be before & after the show. Last year I saw Mobb Deep and I was practically dropping a verse on stage. I was front and center during the whole show. Last week I saw the soulful Charles Bradley and once again, I was close enough to practically play trumpet with the band. Your favorite tasty beverage is served quickly with out any delay. Recently I’ve noticed food trucks outside. I’m not sure if the food trucks were just for a special event or if they are hosting them on a regular basis. Either way. the food trucks are a awesome addition. Parking can be challenging, there is a $ 5 lot behind the venue, but there are plenty of $ 10 parking lots on Elm street that are always trying to flag you down. If your favorite band is playing at Tree’s. buy a ticket and bring a friend. You’re guaranteed to have a good time.

Trees is located in Deep Ellum among bars, restaurants, and other music venues. Various band posters from previous performances are plastered on all surfaces inside and out. Once inside, the open floor gives attention to the stage. The venue has two floors. The ground floor with the stage and a bar and also a top floor with another bar. The ground floor is purely standing room while the top has chairs, tables, and couches for lounging. I caught the XXYYXX/Shlohmo show a few months back here and more recently Deltron’s show just a few weeks ago. The shows both had amazing energy and both crowds were equally pumped. All in all, a great time.
