I decided to try lunch here because I was Unilocaling the area and had seen something in their menu that sounded yummy. However, when we got there it wasn’t actually a menu option anymore. They were also advertising that they were getting ready to roll out a brand new menu in January of 2016 so unless the Unilocal menu has been updated since then then I suspect that it’s either entirely or largely outdated. I ended up having a club sandwich. It was good as far as club sandwiches go. My husband had the brisket grilled cheese and seemed to like it. We both got beers that were served in mason jars(cute). The waiter was really friendly. It’s a very chill vibe which is what we were looking for so we enjoyed that. Seems like it might get pretty crowded and rowdy at night. Also seems like a decent place to meet up with some friends and watch the a game. We would definitely return to check out what they have to offer on the new menu.

Started with a pleasant greeting but bad service. Server didn’t introduce herself or tell us about any specials or the brunch menu. Only gave us the regular menu. Had to find the brunch menu on a table next to us after we settled for something on the regular menu. Tried to cancel and change our order to brunch which we wanted but were told that our order was almost done(took 10 more mins to get to the Table). When we told the server we were disappointed she said, «Okay» and walked away. Food was disappointing as well. Buffalo chicken sandwich was bread and soggy fried chicken. The fries were over-fried crumbs. Asked about a fruit cup or something light(because we were looking for bunch) and was told that there were strawberries in the fruit cup. There weren’t. Last order was a pulled pork quesadilla and the server had no idea it was on the menu. Overall bad experience made it clear to the server and she couldn’t have cared less. Found on ticket, servers name Kayla.

This place is awesome for just hanging out and watching the game or even just to have a drink and play pool! The bartender Chase(man bun) is awesome! He blows fire, talks to everyone at the bar and makes you feel like part of the party! The food is awesome and half price pizza after 10 is the best!!!

Try the winning combination of a Brisket Cobb Salad and the Seven Falls Cabernet Sauvignon.

They’re open late on Sundays, which is nice, and it wasn’t too crowded with college folks. The waitress was pleasant and tended to this slightly loud group of twenty-somethings admirably. I only got one glass of Revolver Blood+Honey, but the happy hour/bar menu looked good. I may be back sometime to try it out, though I have already been to the other location in Uptown, which is very similar. The only reason why I won’t frequent this place too much is that I’m wary of bars close to college campuses, so I’ll have to pick the right time and place!

Ok, so I must have ended up in this place at the right time! Friends and I where out late(10ish) on a Thursday night looking to grab a drink and some food, at the time it seems impossible to find anything besides Applebee’s open! A friend suggested this place, and score! Half price pizzas and half price local brews. Although they did not have a large local beer selection, they did have Deep Ellum IPA and Revolver for $ 3! Not bad! Now the pizza, I love pizza. I’m not sure if I was already drinking a little too much or it was actually that good. The pizza choices are not your ordinary pepperoni and cheese. I can not recall the name of mine, yet it had chicken, spinach and ricotta oh! And pickles jalapeños, thin crust and delicious! If you guys are looking for a place to kick it on a Thursday night this is the place! It has large TVs, pool(may be the only pool table I’ve seen in Dallas so far) and an awesome patio. Do it!

Great environment to hang out and have a good time! Had an exceptional experience for my first visit and this will be my new go to when friends come to town. Pool tables, tvs, good food, and alcohol, what more does anyone need Cheese fries were the best I have had in Dallas so far, and the sauce on the buffalo chicken sandwich was great! Purple nurple’a were good but I think I would stick to beer or whiskey next visit.

This place has so much potential but it seems as if they would rather throw private parties than be a bar/restaurant. It gets annoying when we decide to go grab drinks and then I’m forced to be confined in the back side if the bar. Most of the time I just turn around and leave if so but other than that this place is really cool to hang out at. Love that they use mason jars as cups and the patio is small but roomy. Texas Jenga is always there too if the other players will give you a chance to play. Lol

Beer selection is ok– draft beer selection could be SO much more and better overall choices. And $ 7 a pint– no thank you! Wow talk about price gauging on draft beer! Sheesh, thanks a lot!!! The fire shot was impressive to watch! Love the amount of tv’s here– nice sizes/amount all with good picture quality. It’s gets loud in here– real loud with just normal conversations going on in here. If you are looking for somewhere low key to watch a game this is not it! The pizza was ok– and when I say ok it lacked toppings and size for the price! Very small pizza with only 8 slices for $ 13??? Eight very small pieces that fit on an oversized dinner plate. And I said no cheese but apparently that meant no cheese and no toppings– feel like I paid for sauce a bread. I was expecting toppings and lots of them! Next time I will not order the pizza and probably will not come here hungry! Not worth it! Can’t say I will be back for food or drinks with these prices unless there are specials!

A nod to this place for hosting a draft party for my coworkers. Very accommodating when we had called to reserve a table for 16 and extended the happy hour prices for us. I had the donkey punch and would come back for drinks. The appetizers were on par with other bars, nothing spectacular. Quesadillas were the best thing I had here.

It’s a good alternative sports bar to Twin Peaks. They play good shit on the radio when football is not on. The drink specials are nice. I wish they had a better selection on draft. My girlfriend likes wit beer and the closest thing to that here is Revolver Blood & Honey which ain’t gonna cut it. They have Community Mosaic IPA for me though. I wish they also carried Community Wit. Trivia on Tuesday nights can be fun. They are pretty clever at asking stuff that is hard to Google without being noticed like«What is this(picture)?» or «Who sings this(song)?» so that there is no real way to search it on your phone. TV placement is better than average. Seating is adequate. I wish they would keep the damn wall shut when it’s 100 degrees. The food is good. It’s typical sports bar stuff. I like it. Bonus: extra star for BLAZING fast free wireless Internet. The password as of today is «greatfood»(without quotes), but that can change at anytime. I checked the speed and they are pulling close to 50 Mbps, which makes me think they have U-Verse.

Its a very large bar with excellent drink specials, try the Donkey Punch or the Purple Nurple. You can catch them on $ 3 specials during the week. $ 15 pitchers on the weekend.

PERVERTSPRESENT! The service was ok and the drinks were decent but my reason for one star is because of the pervert that is employed by this company. I saw a very drunk girl walk up to the bar and order drinks and a random man come up and start molesting her, literally he was up against her rubbing his hand against her crotch area. I asked her if she knew him and she said no and that she wanted him to stop. I told him to stop and leave her the hell alone. He apologized and walked away. Then i made the bartender aware of this man because shortly after he was preying on another woman. A little later i found out did they not only NOT kick him out but hes also employed there. I didnt feel safe to stay nor will i ever return! I recommend women to stay away or bring a sober friend to watch over you!

This place is the absolute worst. Service was deplorable. My boyfriend ordered a drink and drank and then we left. Everyone was running around like chickens with their heads off. It wasn’t even busy, there was two other parties… And we asked simple questions and they didn’t even know the answer. If you want to go to a super empty place on a Saturday and have terrible service then this is the place for you. The comment says I am a disgruntled employee. I have never worked for nodding donkey nor would I ever. I think it’s sad that they are trying to get this review removed by lying and trying to claim I worked there.

The first time I went to the nodding donkey, I loved it. They’ve got NFL Sunday ticket, the manager put every game we wanted to watch on the TVs surrounding us, everyone was really accommodating. The food wasn’t good, but I cared more about the football. This time was terrible! The manager on duty didn’t know which TV would be playing which games. I asked him to change a TV near our table that nobody in the bar was watching to my game, and he told me he couldn’t because«they’re set once the games start», ok fine. THEN after halftime, my game was taken off and another game was put in its place… So they are not«set». I immediately asked for my game to be put back on, it took them 10 minutes to change it. The food still was bad, we found a bug in our mimosa, and the service this time wasn’t good either. Go somewhere else that has Sunday ticket.

I came here last Tuesday with my hubby and a few friends for the trivia night. We had a blast! I have been driving past this spot for two years and I am so glad we had the opportunity to come in and try it. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: The trivia. This was a perfect mid week event. It was not too long and not to short. The prizes are gift cards which is awesome. They also buy rounds for answering certain bonus questions correctly. Awesome! The service. Our waitress was excellent. It was loud and packed last Tuesday. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere. This is the perfect spot. It is both: indoor and outdoor, which is perfect for a summer evening. This is the perfect spot when patio weather hits. Cons: The food. I ordered a house salad and a the saloon chicken sandwich with sweet potato french fries. I am not sure what they put on the sweet potato fries, seasoning wise, but I could not finish them because it was too overpowering. The salad had too many different types of greens that i was overwhelmed. My husband ordered the pepperoni pizza and said that it was just average. Next time, I’ll just stick to beer. The valet. First, they charge you $ 5 for valet. They literally parked my car five feet from where we were and charged us for it. Second, when we were leaving, they keep speeding out of the garage recklessly in the valet vehicles. Yeah, I think we’ll pass on valet. I think we will be back for trivia because we had such a good time. We just need to figure out parking around that location and we will eat before we go. Cool spot.

I had a $ 5 can of beer which was not cold, it came with a frosted glass that was not frosted it was just cold and wet. I tried the trio sampler… hummus, salsa with feta cheese and spinach artichoke dip. The hummus was bland and boring, the salsa and feta cheese tasted like bad pizza sauce and there was nothing fresh about the artichoke dip it tasted sour. The table was so sticky I had to leave my napkin under my beer because I had to pull the glass off the table every time I wanted to drink. I did like the outdoor atmosphere, it was 95 degrees today and it was still cool and pleasant with the breeze in the bar area. There are plenty of televisions to watch whatever sporting venue is on for the day. There were several people with laptops so I’m assuming there’s free WiFi, but I could care less about that. From a foodie perspective this place sucked. If you wanted to hang out and drink a few beers with some friends and watch a game, it could be a great place if the drink prices are reasonable and they cooled the beer off.
