The Hood Store

Very small convenient store that is barred up like they’re in gangsta hood. I popped in for two reason’s; the name, and, beer. They don’t have beer because they are in a school zone. As I walked around the very small and sparsely stocked store, I decided to take a picture of the bathroom door that had an out of order sign on it. Bear in mind that I tend to take at least one picture everywhere I check in. Just what I do. The Arab guy that was working took offense and came from behind the counter and fronted me. He asked me why I was taking pictures and I told him that it’s just something that I like to do. I assured him I meant no offense and I apologized if I did offend him. I was nice and respectful. He didn’t let it go. He started getting in my space and I had to ask him to back off. He did. I bought a bag of chips for a buck then left. Save yourself the trouble folks, 7 – 11 is further down the road.

Sometimes you need a place to pick up a snack, a «loosie» Marlboro or a refreshing beverage in 40 oz sizes. Maybe you just need a new pipe for your «tobacco». This is the place for you. Actually much cleaner and well organized than I expected, this little shop has everything a convenience store needs (and more). Parking is limited in front, but there is a lot on the right facing side. Store owner is friendly… so people don’t fear this place… enjoy it.
