Sovn European Sleep Systems

I was pretty skeptical about such an expensive mattress when we decided to buy a king set in January 2007. It has been a fine mattress and I like the adjustable slat support system. After 8 years, I was very pleasantly surprised then I call the store and asked what could be done about a sagging mattress. Gerardo and his dad came to our house, the next day I think, and replaced a bunch of slats that had sagged and generally shaped up the mattress very nicely. At no charge. Not quite like new, but certainly good enough to keep us going for a few more years. I recommend the product and highly recommend the customer service that this store provides. The store would be my first choice when it comes time to replace our current bed.

We’ve had our king Sovn bed for 4 months now. No more sore shoulders or back and we are having a great nights sleep! Very satisfied with our bed.

Sovn European Sleep Systems — what in the world even is this? That was my initial thought, and honestly my thought for a while into our relationship with the product.
My husband & I got our first Sovn product after my husband received a gift certificate for a Sovn Oxygen Pillow for his birthday several years ago. When you purchase a pillow from this company, you are fitted for a pillow — yep, you read that correctly — you are fitted for a pillow.
So one day, my husband & I go down to the Sovn showroom. We are greeted by the store owner who was extremely helpful & very educational not only about the company’s products but also about the human body’s alignment during sleep & the different sleep positions, body sizes, gender differences, etc. My husband spent some time discussing his sleeping preferences & then spent quite a bit of time trying out different pillows until he settled on the one that seemed to be the best fit. (I didn’t know that if you are a side sleeper your shoulders shouldn’t cave in if your pillow is correct!)
We were there probably close to an hour, but I am very talkative. Maybe a less chatty person could get in and out more quickly, but the products are high end quality products so I think the amount of time we spent in store trying them out was justified. At the end of our trip, the pillow was ordered and shipped to our home.
Once the pillow arrived — life in our home changed! My husbands snoring stopped almost completely. Now the only time he snores is if he has a severe head cold. You wouldn’t think changing a pillow could make that much of a difference, but trust me it does.
Once we got ready to invest in a new mattress for our master bedroom we thought we would put Sovn on the list of possibilities just because of the quality of service we received and how great that Oxygen Pillow is. I was still holding out hope that we would go with a another brand that I was more familiar with, but we made several more trips to visit with the owner of Sovn & discuss our options for a full sleep system, we bought a new mattress & a pillow for me.
I had been have significant lower back issues, & within a few nights of sleeping on our new mattress I could tell a major difference. After sleeping on the bed, along with my new pillow, for a month or so I was able to stop seeing my chiropractor which I had been going to weekly.
All in all, I would say don’t be afraid to give this brand a try even if you aren’t familiar with it. Great products coupled with great service helped me & my husband improve our sleep by leaps & bounds. This line of sleep systems are something that I would recommend to anyone who is having back troubles, issues related to snoring (especially if those issues are snoring spouses), or simply wants a quality sleep system.

My wife and I have been sleeping on our Sovn mattress now for almost 2 years and we absolutely love it. I can honestly say that it’s the best mattress I’ve ever slept on. Sure, it’s a relatively expensive investment, but this is one of those things that you definitely get what you pay for! While the initial model we selected didn’t work out, the Sovn team was very helpful and expeditious in getting us into the replacement model that we own and love now. Long story short — great product, great service. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat for our next mattress!

I want to give them 5 stars, really I do. I love the store, love the experience of shopping there, love the product. Only drawback– horrible return policy. There is none! You buy it, you’re stuck with it. Period! Which I would be fine with if I could at least rent one for a few weeks to be sure I liked it as much as I seem to in the store. But as it stands, I just can’t bring myself to spend that much money on a bed I’m stuck with if it doesn’t work out. It’s a shame, really. Hope they’ll change that policy sometime.
