Dr. Swayden and his staff are friendly… Thorough and kind.
I take both of my small children here my self and my mother … The staff always make sure my kids are comfortable and not scared… our appointments are always on time and we have the full attention of whoever is taking care of us… Our questions are always answered and I never feel rushed!.. I am always confident we have gotten the best care when we leave Smile Workshop!
The facilities are very nice and always spotless!..

I found Smile Workshop through my providers website and since it was close to work, I decided to give them a try. My first visit was in October 2014 for a teeth cleaning. My initial experience was fine. I had a recent appointment for a teeth cleaning on May 27^th however, I walked out of an hour long appointment with nothing to show for it.
First, my x-​rays were really uncomfortable because the plastic on the mouth piece was sharp. I told the technician this but she didn’t seem to care. The Dental Hygienist kept hitting my teeth with the metal piece of her cleaning tools and was just overall sloppy with the gum scaling. The Dentist and Hygienist said I could not get a teeth cleaning that day because I had receding gums and need to get a deeper cleaning for of course, additional fees. Their Billing Specialist came to talk to me about the cost of the deep cleaning and was really pushy about the fees. I told her I wanted to think about it because it’s a lot of money however, she proceeded to ask me to sign the paper that had the quoted price for the deep cleaning. Honestly, who signs price quotes! The Dentist was not very friendly or personable. He also had 2 colleagues come into the room as a «learning experience» as they were new hires.
This was just an awful experience for me. I just finished my teeth cleaning at a Dentist office in Plano and their staff was so professional and friendly and my overall review of my teeth and gums were great! My advice is to get referrals and read the reviews before you commit to any Dentist! There are really great ones out there.

The staff here is so super friendly and very helpful.
I had the unfortunate pleasure of needing a root canal and they made the whole experience not so scary.
When my temporary crown broke off they got me in that day and fixed me up unbelievably fast.
Great place that I highly recommend.

I am very happy for my wisdom teeth extraction here. Monarch dental was trying to rip me off and they were pushing me to extract four at the same time. I came here, they did two for half of the price of what two would have been in Monarch and I felt no pain. It has been two days, I have healed well, and I am off of pain medicine feeling great.
