Worst chai latte ever. The lady messed up on my order and she remade my drink. But the cup was literally 75% ice, 25% shitty drink. I regret paying $ 5 for the worst chai of my life. Don’t know about the museum but save your money and go elsewhere for coffee.

So glad I listened and got the Texas Praline ice cream. Probably went a little overboard by getting two scoops in the waffle cone… but I stand by my decision because it was so tasty. Only four stars because I have had five star worthy ice cream before, they only have four flavors, the and three other flavors are nowhere near the Praline’s level.

After a hot and humid day, I came in here for an ice cream. The Texas Chocolate Praline hit the spot. It was creamy, chocolatey, and caramely. It was everything I expected the ice cream to taste like.

You can’t give this a 5 star review. It is a souvenir shop. It also is a café. Nothing much to see.

I get it that this is a piece of history and something important happened here a long time ago, but why does that make it un-American to think that overcharging tourists for crap they don’t really want is okay? This place sells magnets and other knick knacks that kind of suck and cost way too much. I really wanted a good tee shirt after my stroll through this depressing museum, but none of them were cool. They actually sell a lot of generic Texas stuff and only a few things related to the book depository museum. I almost broke down and settled for a 10 dollar magnet or a $ 300 framed print that would only fit in my tiny bathroom, but I couldn’t bring myself to waste the cash. If you are into overpriced stuff, you may enjoy this one. Otherwise head over to the bar across the street and try to forget that self guided tour of tragedy that you just witnessed.

Great shop, especially if you have been to the museum before and just want to check out what is new in the gift shop and new books about the assassination. It’s also larger than the gift shop over at the sixth floor.

We took my mom from VA to the museum yesterday. Once we got in to the museum, the experience was incredible! The main issue we had was at the beginning getting tickets and waiting to get in. Let me explain how this place works since there are no signs explaining it. The museum only sells a certain amount of tickets for particular time slots. Once you buy for that time slot, you line up outside and wait to get in to the line inside. They send small groups(about 8 usually) of people up the elevator at a time. The audio tour is very well worth the time.

Located directly across from the Sixth Floor Museum, head here to avoid the long ticket lines. You can purchase your admission ticket with no wait and then walk back to the museum and grin all the way to the front of the line. Saved me at least an hour on a Monday, when the places doesn’t open until noon. Oh yeah, and you can browse souvenirs and gift items there too– but really it’s a great place to grab a ticket and aboid messy lines!

I came here after our very interesting tour of the Museum. Lots of books and other interesting items about JFK, Jackie and many other Presidents and their lives as well. It is located downstairs on the main level. The Museum is upstairs(on the 6th floor of course. Usual stuff at the café part of it. Nice clean restrooms right across form the gift shop.

Vegan chocolate tart is to die for! If you have to avoid most of the desserts out there because of the ingredients your allergic/sensitive to, go to this café for a tasty cuppa Joe and a tasty prepackaged treat made by Hail Merry. OMG. Nuf said. Aside from the delectable chocolate delight and other café goodies they have a great selection of Kennedy related books and non-Kennedy gifty items. The space is open and modern with a large video screen on an exposed brick wall playing all things Kennedy.

The only open coffee shop near the school book depository. The coffee was below average. Limited menu. Fair prices. We had to return the coffee to have it altered… which they gladly did.

This was across from the 6th Floor Museum and it was filled with souvenirs and gifts. I looked briefly and decided to go to the café. I bought a Chocolate Brownie which was $ 2.98 total. The size of the Chocolate Brownie was not worth the price but I was hungry. The café also had frozen yogurt as well as coffee and sandwiches. I didn’t check the prices of everything else but I’m sure it would be pricey.

I love the Sixth Floor Museum and I think it is one very unique part of Dallas. The store and café are about what you would expect from a museum store and café but their association with the Sixth Floor Museum get them 5 stars in my book.
