Let me give you my latest review of «wonderful» Siegels on Fitzhugh. First I would like for you to go to a few other places, like World Market — where, although there is a small selection, they give you a description of what each wine tastes like. Then go to Goody Goody, where there are always many sales, the employees are nice and extremely helpful, and where they put your purchase in a paper bag, for free. I vowed I would never goto Siegels again but tonight I was in a situation where I had to get some wine, and quickly. When you go in, you are initially impressed with the size of the store. I saw 2 employees in the whole place. Siegels likes to direct you to the section where the wines are 3 times as much as they are in another section. completely at the other end. They don’t mention it. you have to find it on your own. I looked on the entire wall and I saw about 3 «sales». I decided on one and brought it to the counter. Once again, borderline«i couldn’t be bothered» attitude. And, once again, they made the distinct point that a bag would be 5 cents. Again, the ordinance is for plastic, not paper. Instead of stocking their stores with small bags that are specifically for wine, like Goody Goody does, they elect not to. Of course, when i got the«sale» wine home, it was horrible. So I went to World Market and, after reading the descriptions, purchased a much better wine for less money. Initally I thought about returning the wine to SIegels and complaining about it, but then I realized, why should I bother? They would just say, too bad, so sad. I gave them another chance, but I won’t give them a third… ever.

Very large liquor store with a huge variety of products. The staff is friendly and will help you carry large purchases to your car. I am always able to find what I need here and would certainly stop by this location for my next big party or event.

I live next to this place and frequent it weekly. Its hard to judge accurately because i feel that it is a 4 star place to get liquor, but a 2 star for beer. 2 for wine service while 3 for selection. Liquor, great selection, usually very cheap with lots of sales going on all the time. Beer. Piss poor selection, over priced, and very little interesting variety. I realize this is the distributors fault, but i cant really review them now can I Wine– they do have an excellent wine selection, but every time i am helped in the wine section, one of two things happen. First, i ask for something specific, say a dry pinot grigio. I am escorted to the pinot grigios, and told that yes they are a dry white wine. Well i asked for the driest, not the dudes opinion of the wine. The alternative outcome is my favorite. «Something in the 25 dollar range please». Ah «yes well this 80 dollar malbec is lovely with fish». WTF, are they serious, its just absurd how bad they are at suggesting what i asked for. Come for the liquor, buy whats on sale, dont ask any questions and we’ll be alright

I live in Las Colinas, and as I was recently informed — they don’t sell hard liquor there. Can you believe it? I thought this state was all free-rules and stuff? Well, anyways, luckily I was in Dallas recently and as I was driving home, I passed this place. I did a quick u-turn and pulled in, thankful to find this place. It’s enormous: excellent selection of the good stuff. I found all kinds of vodkas and gins and bourbons I’d never seen before(I just moved here from Boston). I picked up some texas-made stuff and was thrilled to have it. This is a big, clean, well-stocked packey.(google that — unless you’re from New England…). YAY!

Selection was great, lots of choices and always in stock, but my last visit made me reconsider going there ever again. The customer service is anything but friendly(except for one lady that was very helpful and polite) the rest of the employees treat you like you’re bothering them and seem to go out of their way to be rude. If they replace the rest of the cashiers with the sweet Australian lady I might consider going there again. Rude employees drive away business, wake up Sigels management and do away with these people that are unhappy with there employment!

Your average liquor store. I would say they have a decent selection at least all the main brands that you would likily want. The checker didn’t seem overly friendly and I thought the prices were a little high but you are in a pretty central location in Uptown so you probably pay a little more there.
